Ein dreister Mörder dringt in die Höhle des Löwen ein und vergiftet ausgerechnet das Zimmer, in dem Kindaichi logiert; voller Übermut reißt der Täter ein Kalenderblatt ab – ein kryptischer Hinweis, der auf den Weihnachtstag verweist.
Die Polizei stößt auf eine Spur in einem Foto, das die berühmte Jazzsängerin Tamaki gemeinsam mit ihren Begleitern zeigt. Die Ermittler nehmen das komplizierte Beziehungsgeflecht zwischen der Sängerin und ihrem Ehemann sowie den beiden anderen Personen auf dem Bild genau unter die Lupe. Auch die Weihnachtsfeier in der Villa der Sängerin wird scharf überwacht – und doch gelingt es nicht, den Mord zu verhindern.
Ein scheinbar simpler Fall gibt plötzlich Rätsel auf, als sich herausstellt, dass es sich bei dem Opfer jener verhängnisvollen Nacht um eine völlig unerwartete Person handelt. Erschwerend kommt hinzu, dass die Aussagen aller Beteiligten so perfekt übereinstimmen, dass sich die Tat niemandem eindeutig zuordnen lässt. Während die Polizei in die Irre geführt wird, ahnt der Detektiv bereits die Wahrheit und wartet nur noch auf den richtigen Moment für die entscheidende, alles aufklärende Enthüllung.
All dies geschieht, um einen skrupellosen Mörder zu entlarven – ein Monster, das scheinbar direkt aus der Hölle stammt.

Yokomizo was born in the city of Kobe, Hyōgo (兵庫県 神戸市). He read detective stories as a boy and in 1921, while employed by the Daiichi Bank, published his first story in the popular magazine "Shin Seinen" (新青年[New Youth]). He graduated from Osaka Pharmaceutical College (currently part of Osaka University) with a degree in pharmacy, and initially intended to take over his family's drug store even though sceptical of the contemporary ahistorical attitude towards drugs. However, drawn by his interest in literature, and the encouragement of Edogawa Rampo (江戸川 乱歩), he went to Tokyo instead, where he was hired by the Hakubunkan publishing company in 1926. After serving as editor in chief of several magazines, he resigned in 1932 to devote himself full-time to writing.
Yokomizo was attracted to the literary genre of historical fiction, especially that of the historical detective novel. In July 1934, while resting in the mountains of Nagano to recuperate from tuberculosis, he completed his first novel "Onibi" (『鬼火』), which was published in 1935, although parts were immediately censored by the authorities. Undeterred, Yokomizo followed on his early success with a second novel Ningyo Sashichi torimonocho (1938–1939). However, during World War II, he faced difficulties in getting his works published due to the wartime conditions, and was in severe economic difficulties. The lack of Streptomycin and other antibiotics also meant that his tuberculosis could not be properly treated, and he joked with friends that it was a race to see whether he would die of disease or of starvation.
However, soon after the end of World War II, his works received wide recognition and he developed an enormous fan following. He published many works via Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine in serialized form, concentrating only on popular mystery novels, based on the orthodox western detective story format, starting with "Honjin Satsujin Jiken" (『本陣殺人事件』) and "Chōchō Satsujin Jinken" (『蝶々殺人事件』) (both in 1946). His works became the model for postwar Japanese mystery writing. He was also often called the "Japanese John Dickson Carr" after the writer whom he admired.
Yokomizo is most well known for creating the private detective character Kosuke Kindaichi (金田一 耕助). Many of his works have been made into movies.
Yokomizo died of colon cancer in 1981. His grave is at the Seishun-en cemetery in Kawasaki, Kanagawa (神奈川県 川崎市).

คินดะอิจิเฟิสไทม์ ; เป็นสไตล์การเล่าเก่าๆ แบบ who did it สืบลวนจากหลังไปหน้าเป็นเส้นตรง การเล่าง่ายๆ ตรงไปตรงมา แสดงเสน่ห์การสืบสวนแบบชัดเจน ตัวคดีไม่หวือหวา แรงจูงใจในการฆ่าก็ปกติไม่ได้โรคจิตอะไรแต่อย่างใด รัก โลภ โกรธ หลง ธรรมดา แต่ไอ้ความธรรมดานี่แหละพิเศษสุด เล่าเรื่องธรรมดาไงให้สนุก
ส่วนตัวว่าเรื่องแรกก็เฉยๆ แต่ชอบเรื่องสองมากกว่า และหักมุมตอนจบ ส่วนเรื่องสามก็ดี นี่ประทับใจในความเลือดเย็นของคินดะอิจิที่สุด แก้งค์ตำรวจก็น่ารักดี ให้อารมณ์เหมือนอ่านโคนันแต่ภาคผู้ใหญ่อะ 5555

3.5 ⭐️ สำหรับเรื่องนี้รู้สึกว่าอ่านได้เรื่อยๆ ส่วนตัวรู้สึกว่าไม่ได้หวือหวามากเท่าไหร่ แต่ก็สนุกดี อ่านแล้วนึกถึงโคนันเบาๆ5555555 จริงๆเพิ่งเคยอ่านคินดะอิจิเล่มนี้เป็นเล่มแรก อยากลองเล่มอื่นๆอยู่เหมือนกัน

Akuma no Koutansai - Lễ Giáng Sinh của Ác quỷ - quyển thứ 25 trong series Kindaichi là tuyển tập 3 vụ án của ngài thám tử tóc xù. Cả 3 truyện đều liên quan đến những người phụ nữ đáng sợ (trong số đó có crush của Kin), cấu trúc và bầu không khí được xây dựng vẫn theo phong cách đặc trưng của Seishi - bí ẩn và ma mị. Mình rất thích cả 3 vụ án này, đặc biệt là vụ án cuối ở biệt thự sương mù, chân tướng cả 3 vụ đều gây bất ngờ nhẹ cho mình, Kindaichi vẫn giữ xì tai "phá án chứ không bảo vệ ai cả", dù đã được phím trước nhưng cái gì đến vẫn phải đến =)) Quyển này rất cuốn và có thể đọc hết trong 1 lần.

-คินดะอิจิมีเหตุให้ไปพบศพอดีตนักแสดงหญิงเข้า หลังจากที่เค้าไปตามตำรวจมา ศพกลับหายไปอย่างไรร่องรอยแล้ว
มีความรู้สึกว่าเล่มนี้ดูเอื่อยๆกว่าปีศาจสาว
เนื้อเรื่องก็ชวนน่าติดตาม แต่ไม่หวือหวาขนาดอยากรีบอ่านให้จบแบบนั้น เป็นเล่มที่เรารู้สึกเฉยๆละกัน

อันนี้ประกอบไปด้วยเรื่องสั้นสองเรื่อง
ส่วนตัวชอบเรื่องแรกที่เป็นชื่อเดียวกับชื่อตอนมากกว่าครับ
ถึงแม้ว่าการดำเนินเรื่องจะแอบเนือย และอะไรหลายๆ อย่างก็ทำให้เราอินไม่ค่อยได้ แต่ตอนจบหักมุมดี ชอบครับ
ส่วนเรื่องสอง เรื่องนี้เนื้อเรื่องกระชับกว่าเรื่องแรกหน่อย และถือว่าหักมุมได้ดี ชอบข้อคิดเกี่ยวกับคนหนุ่มสาวตอนท้ายเรื่องครับ มันทำให้ตระหนักถึงอะไรหลาย ๆ อย่างดี

เป็น short story 3 ตอนในเล่มเดียว แต่ละเรื่องเล่าได้กระชับดี ตัวละครไม่มาก อ่านแล้วไม่ค่อยงงง่าย แบบนี้ก็ดีนะ อ่านเรื่องยาว ๆ แล้วสับสนกับตัวละครบ่อยเกิน

มีเรื่องสั้น 3 เรื่อง "คริสต์มาสซาตาน" "ปีศาจสาว" กับ "บ้านพักในสายหมอก"
คริสต์มาสซาตาน - รู้สึกว่าปมของคนร้ายในเรื่องนี้ธรรมดาเกินไป และแอบคล้ายคดีอื่นๆ ของคินดะอิจิที่เคยอ่านมาก (เช่น ลูกรักของปึศาจ) แต่ชอบการเล่าเรื่องจากการให้ปากคำของพยานแต่ละคนที่ค่อยๆ เฉลยตัวคนร้ายออกมา เป็นวิธีเล่าเรื่องที่น่าสนใจดี
ปีศาจสาว - อ่านคินดะอิจิมาหลายเล่ม (แต่ก็ยังเหลือที่ไม่ได้อ่านอีกเยอะ) เรื่องนี้เป็นครั้งแรกที่เห็นคินดะดิจิมีความรัก และเล่าจากมุมมองเพื่อนคินดะอิจิ คล้ายวัตสันเขียนเล่าเรื่องโฮล์มส์
บ้านพักในสายหมอก - ชอบเรื่องนี้ที่สุด อ่านแล้วตื่นเต้นว่าคินดะอิจิโดนหลอกยังไง ลุ้นตอนไปหาหลักฐาน
คริสต์มาสซาตาน - รู้สึกว่าปมของคนร้ายในเรื่องนี้ธรรมดาเกินไป และแอบคล้ายคดีอื่นๆ ของคินดะอิจิที่เคยอ่านมาก (เช่น ลูกรักของปึศาจ) แต่ชอบการเล่าเรื่องจากการให้ปากคำของพยานแต่ละคนที่ค่อยๆ เฉลยตัวคนร้ายออกมา เป็นวิธีเล่าเรื่องที่น่าสนใจดี

เป็นคดีที่ไม่ยาวมาก แต่ที่ทำให้ว้าวคือคนร้ายของคดีเนี่ยแหละ ไม่คิดเลยว่าคนเขียนจะให้......เป็นคนร้ายจริงๆ กล้าหาญมาก

เดินเรื่องได้สนุก เล่มนี้เน้นโพแทสเซียมไซนาไนด์จนทำให้นึกถึงคดีในบ้านเราเมื่อปีที่แล้ว2566 มี3เรื่องในเล่มเดียว เรื่องสั้นก็เขียนได้ค่อนข้างดี ตื่นเต้นและกระชับ
