Victor Raum is the second in command of the Rose Coven of Vampires. He’s an elite warrior and a deadly creature. The Rose Coven lives on the dark side of society, skirting the rules and playing for keeps. They protect their own, by any means necessary. When Victor catches the scent of his beloved, he stops at nothing to track him down and bring him into the safety of the Rose Coven. Jaden Pearson is at the end of his rope. He’s being used, threatened, and blackmailed and he sees no escape in sight. Just as the danger starts to close in, a handsome and powerful vampire swoops in and picks up the pieces of his life. He feels the seduction of this elite vampire and gives in, body and soul. He wants Victor’s love and protection. Danger still lurks and Jaden’s past still haunts his present. Luckily, Victor doesn’t take no for an answer and always gets his man.
You don’t cross the Rose Coven and live to talk about it.

* ⭐️⭐️ (In generosity, beginning of the year, you know how it is!?)
It was a ctrl+C and ctrl+V, but with a little more action and violence.
It's all very easy, convenient and emotionless.
The 1st chapter is the introduction of the characters and their lamentations. The 2nd chapter is a meeting and small talk. The 3rd and 4th chapters are about sex and bad guys making Machiavellian plans for revenge. The 5th chapter is sex, defeating the villains and I love you forever. The end. The villain's lines sound like the ones from the evil characters in the children's cartoons that my 4-year-old nephew watches. Not the theme, but the intonation and level.
No angst. Dual POV. Victor and Jaden. Quick violence. The main character is slightly injured. Nah...
I’m finding this series very hard to read due to the thrown together way it is written. The characters don’t have much development and the plot is too short and the wording is off and makes it seem robotic and unfeeling despite the dialogue. Bought the series and hope it gets better. I love this authors writing but am finding his work of late to be thrown together it seems and with little effort to develop a real story. I hope he gets back to the writing I know he is capable of producing.
B A Strike does it again ! I' hoping Master Connell is next to find his beloved. Covens always seem to get more involved when the Master finds his true mate. It was a terrific book and I can't wait for the next one.
A short story about a desperate young man being blackmailed and abused rescued by the vampire who sees him as his beloved. The strong bond is made and the vampire coven makes things right. Lovely sexy story worthy of this author and your time. Enjoy!
I wish there was a little more action akin to the other vampire covers that BA Streaks writes but you can't beat the love of the beloved and the HEA Thank you - Lori
New series from BA Stretke that reads like it might have been written extremely early in his career. All are short stories that focus mainly on the sex. There is the meet and the "opening awareness" of the human, and then quickly the 'problem' is killed and 'happy ever after' arrives.
My only complaint is that the story was too short. I really enjoyed this story, it is always good to see someone get their due. Good characters, awaiting book 3. Recommend reading.
