Poorly written. Misused words a lot, so if you don't have decent context clue skills, don't bother. Story is ok, but it keeps going back to the same traumatic events for both characters without much in way of new details. Gets old quick.

Alpha Nicholas: Rejecting My 10-Year Younger Mate by Becky J pulled me straight into a world of wolves, pack loyalty, fate, rejection, and a mate bond that refuses to be ignored. I love a good werewolf romance where the human side of the characters is fighting against what their wolves already know—and Nicholas and Bonnie definitely deliver that tension. All the fated-mate chemistry, growling wolves, possessive Alpha energy, and pack drama, there are two damaged people trying to figure out whether fate can actually give them something good after life has given them so much pain.
Alpha Nicholas is 28, powerful, stubborn, and completely convinced that he doesn’t need a mate. Then the Blue Moon Ball happens, and fate basically laughs at every plan he’s ever made. His wolf recognizes Bonnie immediately as their mate. The problem? Bonnie is ten years younger than him, and Nicholas’s first response isn’t exactly Alpha-like.
The coward freaking… runs.
I couldn’t help thinking, Nicholas, seriously? You’re an Alpha and you’re hiding from your own mate? His wolf knows exactly what it wants, but Nicholas’s human side is determined to fight the bond with everything he has. I actually loved that beginning because Nicholas may be powerful enough to command an entire pack, but one look at Bonnie sends all that confidence straight out the window. And when he realizes she’s ten years younger than him, his immediate reaction is that this cannot possibly be what he wants. He fights the bond almost from the moment he feels it, convincing himself that rejecting or ignoring Bonnie is the sensible thing to do.
Bonnie’s side of the story is much heavier. She isn’t simply a young she-wolf waiting around for her Alpha mate to rescue her. She has been deeply hurt and traumatized by the people who should have protected and loved her, including members of her own family. Her relationship with her twin sister adds another painful layer to everything she’s endured. Bonnie’s relationship with her wolf, Lexi, was one of my favorite parts because Lexi isn’t just some supernatural presence inside her—she’s Bonnie’s companion, protector, and source of strength when Bonnie desperately needs one. Then finallyBonnie and her best friend Lilly are trying to escape during the Blue Moon Ball when everything goes wrong, eventually leading to the two she-wolves being captured while running through Nicholas’s territory. But everything changes within a few hours. .
Nicholas’s struggle isn’t simply “she’s my mate, so now I love her.” He has to confront his own fears, stubbornness, assumptions, and the consequences of making Bonnie feel rejected before he’s even taken the time to know her. Meanwhile, Bonnie has every reason to protect her heart. She’s already spent too much of her life being hurt by people who were supposed to care about her. The last thing she needs is another person—especially her fated mate—making her feel unwanted. Nick’s Alpha instincts, his protective nature, his wolf, and the mate bond all start crashing into that stubborn belief that he doesn’t want her. Suddenly, rejecting Bonnie isn’t quite as simple as Nicholas thought it would be.
I also loved that Bonnie’s story isn’t completely centered around Nicholas. Her friendship with Lilly matters. Both young women are trying to escape painful lives, and their attempt to find freedom gives the fantasy romance a darker, more emotional edge. When circumstances bring Bonnie right back into Nicholas’s territory, fate puts the Alpha face-to-face with the she-wolf he tried so desperately to avoid. There is just something delicious about watching a strong, commanding Alpha discover that the one person capable he originally didn’t want.
Nicholas may be able to command his pack, but controlling his feelings for Bonnie—and controlling his wolf—is an entirely different battle.

Great read! Now I have to figure out where the next book is. The last section said "Epilogue", but it dropped off into something that wasn't the second book.

This warewolf novel was so good. It was captivating from the start and the story has a good development. The plot is good and and the internal dialogue of the characters is great. Something about fated mates can make a girl dream. ..
