- Me dejó embarazada

Addison and Daniel had wayyy too many miscommunications on their way to HEA but this billionaire baby daddy story was a sleeper hit. Characters are flawed, real, indecisive and annoying at times. She gets knocked up after a one night stand, he is a flake playboy CEO. The angst was tangible and added emotional suspense to the story. I wish a few of the side characters would have received more in- story karma like Heart’s D-bag boss Maybe in the next part of the series.

Ffs did AI write this book. For instance in one part the H stays over borrows her clothes (joggers) the next morning whilst they walking to breakfast and shopping - he only had his suit. So WTF was he wearing on his feet!!! His suit shoes 😂😂😂😂
Anyway DNF
And and these five stars! WTAF 😱

So why did the neighbor’s name start out as Elma and then later she was Edna?

First the blurb isn’t correct- she tells him about the baby right away and he never makes her move in. It’s a bunch of back and forth for the entire story.

This story is pretty awful I’m not sure how I finished. Neither character is likeable, they both suck. The hero is a womanizer who can’t take his eyes off woman’s breasts even after he’s supposedly in love with the h, and the h tells him she lost the baby because she was being dumb.

Safety: Technically there’s no cheating since they were split up but he almost sleeps with his ex (she’s naked, he’s got his hands on her boobs, kissing, dry fucking etc) until he stops last minute. But he spends the entire book even after separation from the h eye fucking OW and then is suddenly in love at the end.

Anyways it’s just not for me.

I really wanted to punch the MFC. She literally repeated over and over the sentences "I am not that kind of girl" or "I am not like other girls". It drove me crazy, because I was tired of reading the same words again and again. It was okay to be mentioned a couple of times at the beginning, but it got repetitive at one point, and I was tired of hearing it.

When I read more of the book, it became clear enough that this love story is quite ridiculous. I was wondering if I should keep reading, but in the end I decided to finish it. Sadly, it didn't get any better. I am quite disappointed by the story and its characters.

I will NOT be continuing with this series or this author. The storyline and characters could have been awesome, which makes me even more annoyed by the let down.

Addison and Daniel were unbelievably immature, no growth or substance - all I wanted to do was smother both of them.

No connection/ chemistry between them.

It went on and on and on. Describing and telling me SFA over and over again.

The writing style and dialogue was awful.

Countless editing issues.
Inconsistent character names:
Brody / Brock …
Edna / Elma …
Which is it?!?

I completed the book, only because it was a train wreck I had to continue watching. For that reason - it gets the one star instead of none.

Ps - who the heck could five star this?

Whispered Sins

This book was annoying. Daniel was a jerk most of the time. He was nice in the end. She was weepy but her hormones were all over the place. She was wrong to tell him the baby was dead.

3.5 star Addison and Daniel's story was a good read even if it doesn't follow the description Amazon gives. He does NOT force her to live with him at 8 months pregnant. Just a peeve of mine. Some inconsistencies for me were the importance of the paparazzi all through the book to nothing by the end. This was such an angsty story but as soon as he shows up, he's forgiven and all is well--not likely in my head, this should have happened sooner. And how Monica was so important to Addison but then by the end she wasn't even called until the next day. Daniel was sweet then not then really sweet, Addison was consistent as a character until the "grand gesture", then back to being what she was throughout the story (he should have had to work harder from the information given). I did like the concept of this book and enjoyed the characters I just wish it was more complete and consistent with what was given to start with.

Gah! The amount of miscommunication in this one is anger simmering because as everyone points out to Daniel… “have you talked to her?”?!? Common!!! Seriously! 😒 LOL. Ok but other than that irksome troupe that gets a lot of us riled up…. It was still a fun story about Addison & Daniel and their journey to parenthood. I am so very annoyed with Addison’s boss Brian.. I get the why, but the execution… 😡But there are real axxholes out there..

Ok the good stuff… how Daniel tries… tries… and tries again to win Addison love it! The back and forth angst and their fears are al soooo real and thats what made this one so good!

Disappointed!!

I was really disappointed with the FMC. I found her character to be annoying and tedious, I really wanted a nice easy book to read but for me it was just meh!

The MMC wasn’t much better he was written as a pushover. She lied to him, made him believe his baby was gone and then literally ran away when she was discovered all because of a conversation she had over heard, and he was the one that had to be sorry because it was all his fault.

I wasn’t a fan of the supporting characters either. so I won’t be picking any subsequent books.

It may be just me but the way the character were written and the growth throughout the books was what was most disappointing about this.

Daniel and Addison. Works for a charity. Hes the CEO of a large company shes trying to get as a donor. She chats up a cute assistaint and finds out hes really the CEO. Open mouth insert foot. When she trys to slip out unnoticed Daniels not having it. Hes intrigued by the woman who doesnt know who he is. She opens her heart and finds out she shouldnt trust anyone. There are some secondary charecters that are simply bad human beings. Well written with some errors but very a good read very beleivable and heartfelt.

So, the description on Amazon is TOTALLY different to this one.

Had I read this blurb, I wouldn’t have picked up the book.

I was promised a secret baby - one where the FMC doesn’t tell the MMC about the pregnancy until he finds out at the 8 month mark and forces her to move in with him.

None of that happened. She tells him 3 weeks later. What follows is some really lack lustre flirting and the MMC flashing his bank card as a means to impress.

The characters were boring but that might be because I was expecting something totally different. Either way, it’s in desperate need of a proper edit and the blurb needs to match the actual story 🙄

Cute

I gave it 3 stars for several reason. One the description of the book is way off. There is so way out times lines. First it’s 3 weeks then all of a sudden it’s a few days. Then the author already covered something and then a few chapters later it’s brought up again and he acts like she never told him about her parents. There is just so many things that made no sense. And I hate when authors add extra characters but leave you in the air with what happened to their stories she started in this book. Should have been a series on the all.

Addison met CEO Daniel when she had an appointment at his company to discuss a donation to the non-profit charity organization where she was employed. They met for a second time when they were both at the same bar. Their attraction that was mutual ended in a night of passionate lovemaking. A few weeks later, Addison realized she was pregnant. When she contacted Daniel, his reaction was not positive. How they both approached the future is the rest of the story.

2.5/5 ⭐️

Well that was messy and I'm not talking about the writing.
Addison was annoying seriously the world doesn't revolve around you and everything could've been different if you guys just talked !
The whole miscommunication trope needs to be stopped 😤
Ngl I stayed for the drama but if you're looking for a book that's better than you and your baby daddy's love story don't do it.

Loved the story

I really enjoyed this book. My only complaint is editing errors. Well written and then BOOM a ridiculous error.
Its the writers perogitive. But. I've yet to find a Broadway show that had to start after 10PM. Silly I know but as a New Yorker it really bugs me. Also after riding the subways for 30 years I never heard of a train time like a railroad. Made me laugh.
Sorry for the trivial errors but.....

One night stand romance

Daniel and Addison have a one night stand with resulting pregnancy. Daniel isn’t ready for a relationship and for most of the book, the couple is pledged by misunderstanding, denial, and just two people not talking miscommunication. When the romance is resolved, the story ends. Just too much back and forth with no purpose, and nosey, well-meaning friends and family with lots of bad advice.

Daniel is a tech company CEO who finds often finds himself in the tabloids and followed by paparazzi. Addison approaches him for a business opportunity and things go from there. A steamy read on the longer side with plenty of drama, and a surprise/secret baby.

Responsible

One night stand that turned into a lot of issues. Addison believed everything she read about Daniel. Most was true, but his past was determined to cause problems. Daniel allowed a previous bad relationship to control a lack of trust. That caused his relationship with Addison to take a drastic turn.
These two had to go through a lot to find their HEA.

Liked the plot. There were a few things that I felt dragged on too long. Also wasn’t really a fan of the MFC. Her crying and complaining over things that she caused to happen then blamed Daniel for it. I felt every time he tried to talk to her she blamed him for something. There were a few inconsistencies I noticed about the plot. Other than that it was an okay read.

Good story

This is the 1st book I read by this author and I did enjoy it. The story was sweet and followed the usual lines as far as romance novels go. I don't know if other books by her will give us more details on the other 2 male characters but I would like to see them and Monica also get their stories told.

A very good read. Enjoyed the plot, characters and the style of writing. Really a great book except the errors I found caused some confusion. Not spelling errors or grammar errors but naming the wrong characters in the wrong areas. Had reread these passages several times to clarify and it was going so well. Please check editing again. Could move this writer up a notch in favorites.

The Author is Clueless

If the author doesn’t know when a woman begins to show during pregnancy, she should research the subject. No one begins to show in her second month. Most women barely begin to show in their fifth month, let alone someone who is already not of slender build.

Poorly done.

I loved the characters. The plot, the feel good romance. I really enjoyed reading this book and highly recommend it, if you enjoy a happy ever after ending. Daniel was a playboy, but when he realized how much Addison meant to him to his life, he really became a wonderful suitor. I highly recommend reading this book

Good but the description is a bit misleading

Good book. Strong characters but the description was very misleading! Story definitely didn’t go as followed. Not necessarily a bad thing but I felt plot-fished. Almost DNF. First book from this author. Idk if I’ll read another *trust issues*.

Not to discourage anyone from reading; 4 ****

I don't know how I finished this book but I did. *deep sigh of victory*
Whatever trope this is, it's annoying.
I want to say more but yea.
I don't know if I'll read anything else from the Author but she does have an interesting way of writing that keeps you enthralled.
No matter how annoyed I got, I just kept on reading.

What great characters in this book

Daniel was handsome and rich and he was falling for Addison and did not realize it. This relationship is new for both of them. You have to read about their long journey where little Bridgette comes along for the ride. Would love a continuous book for this couple.

A beautiful story and well written. Heart and Daniel belong together despite everything they went through to get there. So glad Heart's parents came around and accepted her for who she was.

Sweet

This was a lovely read of a rich baby daddy story with a few quirks in it. I liked both characters, Addison (Heart) and Daniel and so wanted them together, the change in their characters as the story went on was well written.
