One chance to win the war. One ship capable of victory.

Captain Scott Moore takes Arcadia to Blackgate, a Shaper fortress prohibiting starships from successfully navigating jumpspace. But there is more to Blackgate than anticipated.

Lost to the ravages of time, a lost human colony struggles for survival. They hold the keys to opening a front against their Shaper oppressors—a fleet of ships, if only they can be repaired.

One problem—Arcadia has a mind of its own, and the ship's thirst for war must be satiated. Even if it means killing the crew.

Meanwhile, a battle ensues on Kahwin as a Chinese ship misjumps and arrives in the system. Pitted against them, a rag-tag group of professionals must take up arms or the people of Kahwin will once again taste the yolk of slavery. If victorious, there's a possibility of the team returning back to Earth.

Kol and Zoe visit Earth with vastly different agendas. For Kol, it's a chance to see a new world for the first time. For Zoe, it's a chance to explore the only planet in the galaxy that's resisted the Shapers. Will Kol's presence on Earth change the course of history? The war to free humanity is set to go into overdrive.

There are times when you had finished reading a book and you feel like whistling as you collect your thoughts.
Jump Trap is such a book.
When you gathered that Kahwin has been freed from the Shapers there still remains the threat of a Shaper jump gate, Blackgate, that remains and can at any time become the point from which Shapers may enter the galaxy and cause havoc once more.
But how could Captain Moore have foreseen what would lie ahead at Blackgate? The surprises and sacrifices required?
And on Earth Lol is trying to stay unobserved whilst observing the planet. But an even more obscure illegal Chinese patrol is about to cause even more havoc too.
Well, life is not about having it easy, as events soon prove to be true.
Enjoy
