This is the first book I have ever read by Dutch and I thoroughly enjoyed it. He is a master wordsmith. The characters in this story were so real and palatable. I could envision them clearly and this is due to Dutch's gifted writing.
Above The Law had a lot of twists and turns. It was full surprises and suspense. You never quite knew what was going happen next. Dutch is an excellent story weaver.
Dutch is on the top of his game. I look forward to reading more of his work. I highly recommend this book.
This book really was not that bad. What was really the odd part was all of this odd street language these supposed gangsters were using. Maybe this means something and add some autheticity but I felt it detracted from the story. Plus all of the overly described sexual scenes for such a short book. Some of this was better fit for a Penthouse Forum collection. Again not the best but not the worst. Approaching the lower end however due to several short comings.
While he is a good author this book left me all kinds of confused. Maybe it's because it was a lot of Muslim and terrorism lingo and talk. Idk what it was but the story didn't work for me
Interesting and kinda good. I did read to the end but it borders on urban fiction which I despise. The intrigue for this book was the deception and suspense component.
