First off, I have to rave at how visually wonderful this book is, with detailed card images and layouts that walk you through all the various exercises. This is a great resource for a writer at any stage, helping you gain all sorts of insight into your plot and your characters, sparking ideas that you wouldn't have come up with on your own. I've been using it for the development of a novel and have been so excited with all the new avenues that have opened up as a result of using the exercises in the book. I also highly recommend the companion workbook--it helps you keep all these cool new ideas in one place. I'm SO glad I have this book as a tool in my writing process.
