Number 7 in the American Brides collection. These short and sweet books have been little glimmers in my reading journey this year. ✨ I can’t wait to read the final one soon!
Another great novella in this collection! I enjoyed the plotline & the characters. I liked the time period, it was very "Downton Abbey". Lucy & Eli were great main characters, and I liked seeing their relationship unfold! I would have liked the relationship to go on longer, as it did develop into love very fast, but I still really enjoyed this story.
As always my only complaint is it wasn’t long enough! Love the characters and that it was based on true people and places! Can’t wait to read the 8th book in the series and I love that it’s connected to this one!
