Sara hates her new boss, Sheik Tariq. He is rude, arrogant, headstrong and argumentative.
So, why can't she stop thinking about him?
When she started work in the Middle East for The Botros Oil Company, Sara expected her boss to be an elderly Arab. But instead her boss is tall, handsome, gloriously masculine with stunning eyes and a muscular physique.
Tariq has never met anyone like her. She has no respect for tradition, she's clumsy, stubborn, unladylike and talks far too much. And she isn't scared of him, in fact she openly challenges him. He finds himself getting frustrated just talking to her.
So, why does he feel so attracted to her?
One night they're both working late and inevitably get into another heated argument. Before Sara knows what is happening, she is kissing Tariq, and he is lifting her onto the conference room table. After an unforgettable night of passion they both agree to never let it happen again. But when they discover the result of their unprotected encounter, they must both come to terms with their feelings.
Can this explosive couple finally reveal their more caring sides?
Or will it all end in disaster..?
The Botros Brothers Series ======================= Book 1: The Sheik's Accidental Pregnancy Book 2: The Sheik's Unwilling Girlfriend
New to Leslie? Readers suggest starting with 'The Bossy One' (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C6BP3BBF) —Imagine a sunny Minnesotan Mary Poppins, employed by a grumpy Irish billionaire. The story is a blend of humor, revenge, passion, heartbreak, hope, and witty banter. As one reader put it, ‘This story had me squealing at the romantic moments and silly moments.’
Leslie North is the USA Today Bestselling pseudonym for a critically-acclaimed author of romantic comedies and contemporary romance. The anonymity allows her to fully express her creativity, especially in the romantic and fun sexy scenes!
In fact, she confesses to loving her fictional persona, Leslie North, more than her everyday self! Her bestselling books are known for their strong characters, particularly women who aren’t afraid to challenge an alpha bosshole. And the humor? So infectious, you’ll be laughing out loud in public!
Leslie’s love for romance began when she picked up a worn-out romance book from her local library. She started writing soon after, and as they say, the rest was history. She now resides in a cozy cottage on the British coast, enjoying long walks with her two Dalmatians, George and Fergie.

The story could have been great. However, I never once connected to any of the characters. I couldn't even picture them because there weren't descriptions.
I never believed that there was a connection between Sarah and Tariq. She was indifferent to him, nervous because he was the owner of the company he worked for, but I never got the impression that she was even remotely attracted to him. As for Tariq, he flatly hated Sarah. From the first moment he met her, he hated her. Again, I never felt like he was actually attracted to her. The first time they had sex, I had to go back to read it because I thought I missed something and couldn't figure out how him being rude to her led to them having sex.
My other issue was that throughout the whole book, I was being told what happened. I never once felt like I was immersed in the story.
This book had the potential to be incredibly brilliant. With some high ratings I was excited to read it, however for me it failed to hit the mark.
From the first moment I was confused as to whose mind I was in. Was it Sara, was it Amir, was it Tariq or one of the other characters. It was sometimes written as if you were in a characters mind and then it switched the next sentence to the third person.
Not only that the story was so fast paced it gave me whiplash. It went from Sara starting a new job, to meeting Tariq, to Sara loosing her virginity to him (and not caring about it), to Sara being pregnant, to her moving in with him and him suddenly caring.
There was no substance to any of the characters. When I read the synopsis I imagined a fiery heroine and hero who battle it out in a test of wills however both the hero and heroine fell flat. Sara wasn't even the least bit feisty when it came to her interactions with Tariq. There was even a line where she thought she would be as cold to him as he is to her, yet that never happened.

Sara is excited about her new job as the assistant to Sheik Amir in the oil company that his family owns as it will give her some field experience as well. She is settling in nicely until she meets his brother Sheik Tariq who is rude and dismissive to her.
Tariq is not sure what his brother was thinking when he hired Sara but what he does know is that he wants her fired however no one seems to agree with him. He doesn’t believe she fits the image he wants for his company.
It is only a matter of time when the sparks of antagonism turn into sparks of a different kind. The only problem is that there one steamy encounter resulted in a pregnancy, but will this bring them together or tear them apart? I was pleased with the flow and tone of the narrator.

This book was short but sweet. I absolutely ADORE Sara and the way she gives Tariq constant attitude gives me life. But also Tariq is grumpy except for when it comes to Sara. When he bought her clothes and helped her understand the modesty law 🥹
I WISH the last 50% of this book was more developed though. Once she got pregnant it was kind of like, bingbangboom the end. I wanted to see them fall in love not just get a proposal at the end with nothing to really go off of except sex.
Still, I’m addicted to this series and will be reading the other three books as they re-release in June. 🤗
The Sheikh's Accidental Pregnancy (The Botros Brothers) by Leslie North Simply perfect. Leslie North is full of surprises. Her stories never get old and her characters are always freshly bold. The Sheikh's Accidental Pregnancy is romance plain and simple. Relationships are forever evolving. Sara and Tariq's is no exception. There's drama and heat and heart scattered throughout. Ms. North supplied the words that Ms. Stevens brought to life.
I LOVED this story of a man that didn't believe in love and a woman he couldn't stand but was attraction to her. This was hot and funny as well romantic to me, great ending and will recommend this book to all romance readers.💗
Quick Summary: An enemies to lovers in the workplace romance
My Review: Sheikh's Accidental Pregnancy by Leslie North is book one in the Botros Brothers series.
About Sheikh Tariq Botros: As soon as Tariq met his brother's new assistant, he wanted her gone. He found her to be a menace and a distraction. Why couldn't he stop thinking about her? How could a woman so irritating be so perfect for him?
About Sara Matthews: Sara never thought she would land her dream job at the Botros Oil Company. To her absolute surprise, she got it. Everything had run smoothly until she met Tariq. Why did he have to be such an overbearing boss? How could a man be so annoying and yet so very attractive at the same time?
About the Story: Despite passionately disliking each other from the beginning, Tariq and Sara could not deny the electric charge that sizzled between them. Could they successfully go from enemies to lovers? What would they decide to do about the accidental pregnancy?
My Final Say: This romance had a rough and ready charm that completely drew me in. I found both leads to be strong and capable. The Botros family injected themselves into this couple's relationship just enough to keep things interesting.
Rating: 4/5 Recommend: Yes Audience: A Status: M Level: 💣

Well Ms. North did you get too close to the deadline for this book? In the beginning the story started well and was indeed interesting. Then about halfway in the book the story started skipping time spans of weeks and months and before I could blink the story was done. What also made me frown was how fast Tariq went from hating to loving Sara. It sad to see another story that had a good plot idea got hacked short....
Funny, easy read. I loved that Sara was so confident and held her ground, it made for some great banter. Liked that the characters didn't sudden change who they were when they got together, they stayed true to themselves. Great ending.
2 thumbs up for the first book in the Botros Brothers series can't wait to read the second book. I truly enjoyed Sara and Tarik's little love story a lot of passion in a short read. HAPPY READING!
This book was kind of strange with its particular traits. Sheiks and their respective family affairs and all that. Closed off and enigmatic men versus new world beauties.
Leslie North's "Sheikh's Accidental Pregnancy" attempts to weave a tale of fiery attraction between polar opposites – Sarah, an unladylike, independent woman, and Tariq, the traditional, stern CEO of Botros Oil Company.
The characters seem to hold potential; Sarah's stubborn independence and Tariq's steadfast traditions make for an interesting dynamic. However, this potential seems largely untapped. The premise of an unexpected pregnancy forcing them to come to terms with their feelings could have given room for emotional growth and a fascinating exploration of cultural clashes.
North's usually enjoyable storytelling style seems to have missed the mark, with the pacing coming off too rapid, leading to a disorienting reading experience. Sarah and Tariq's connection often comes across as abrupt and unconvincing, mainly because the narrative tends to tell rather than show their interactions. The story needed more development and depth in the characters.
In terms of cultural context, the book could have been strengthened with more research into the norms and customs of the setting. As a reader who usually enjoys suspending disbelief for a romance, I found it hard to do so for this story due to the narrative's inability to effectively reconcile the plot with the realities of the Middle Eastern setting.
On the positive side, North's trademark humor shines through at moments, and some scenes spark interest. Including Amir, Tariq's younger, more laid-back brother, adds an exciting dynamic to the narrative. Still, the potential for tension and drama remains largely unexplored.
The Sheikh's Accidental Pregnancy is a quick and easy read; it could greatly benefit from more character development, a deeper dive into cultural norms, and a more immersive narrative style. Fans of North's other works might find this one a bit off the beaten path. Sheik stories might not be everyone's cup of tea, including mine, but North's talent as a writer remains undisputed. Therefore, I rate this book three stars, hoping for stronger execution in her future works. Thanks to NetGalley, Leslie North, and the publisher for the free e-ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Sara moves to the Middle East after graduating college. She interviews with an oil company as a personal assistant. She’s hired immediately but doesn’t get along with the owner, Sheik Tariq, who is her boss’s brother. Tariq is grumpy, old fashioned, and does not believe in love. Sara is the only one outside of his family to stand up to him. They have sex one night in the office and she gets pregnant. Tariq makes her move in with him. They still argue but he doesn’t hate her as much as he first did upon meeting her. I wouldn’t call this a love story because he says he loves her at the very end. I don’t like how the characters dialogue runs together. You can’t tell who’s thinking or talking. It gets confusing. Short. A little steamy with arguing, humor, and an unexpected pregnancy.
Sara is a newly grad, who is now working as a PA for Sheik Amir, a young, rich, and handsome ladies man in India. His brother, Tariq, is the head honcho of the family fortune and company, and he thinks Sara is an unbefitting lady. The feeling is mutual for her as well, however, she still finds him attractive. How can you find someone infuriating and attractive at the same time?
Upon first reading this, I honestly thought that Sara would get it on with Amir since the two were much more compatible. Tariq was just a mean, old tyrant. The sexual chemistry was explosive, albeit a little too run-down. The one night of wild passion was not only her deflowering, but also her inception into pregnancy. Oh, dear.
A quick, okay read. It was more narrative than descriptive, but a pretty good story.

This is certainly not my first book by this author and will certainly not be my last.
With a tried and tested formula we get romance and a lot of watching as the couple slowly fall in love over an accidental pregnancy and in this book some really nice family and friends.
I always know that a book by this author will deliver what I want, a little spice, a happy ending and a happy feeling when the book has ended.
I can almost guarantee that I will love any book that this author brings out.
Sara is hired to be an assistant to Sheikh Amir, and she enjoys her job. However, nothing prepared her for his brother Tariq. Sparks fly between them and neither really likes the other. Yet one evening during a fight things heat up between them. Will this be a one time thing or something more?
This is a great story that will draw you in from the first chapter on. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

I've read a lot of books written by Leslie North; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books.
This is the first book in the Botros Brothers Series; it is a stand-alone book. The story is about Sara, Sheikh Amir & Sheikh Tariq; Amir hires her to work at their company but Tariq doesn’t like her.

A quick read story of a woman who moves to another country and begins working for a rich Sheik and his family.
Sara will not back down from an argue, ent with her new boss. He is finding Sara to be bossy and rude. But he has an attraction to her. One night of passion and his life changes. Dara can’t believe this has happened.
Although Sara fights him all the way, romance has a way of blossoming.
Thank you to #NetGalley and the publisher for allowing me to review this book.
The oldest brother was so disrespectful to Sara. She learned how to handle him once she believed herself. I enjoyed his great grandmother. She treated Sara like she was her grandchild. Sara's boss enjoyed her including all her faults. I don't give Sheik books a 5 because the storie plots don't change. This was a good read.
Entertaining Sheikh romance with wonderful characters. Sheikh Tariq is the head of an oil company and known as a strict man. His brother, Amir hires Sara as his assistant when Tariq is out of town. Sara and Tariq always butt heads. I chose to write this review and look forward to reading future books by Ms.North.
This is a fun romantic romp. Sara is the no frills girl setting out for her first job after university. Sheik Tariq is the grumpy CEO of the company she works. The two battle it out in words but cannot resist their deep attraction. It is a page turning and quick read as Sara breaks down all of Tariq’s boundaries.
This was a good enemies-to-lovers romance with a side of accidental pregnancy. Tariq and Sara initially disliked each other, but they had definite chemistry. It was a fantastic read, and I loved the opposites attract trope within it. This romance drew me in, and I'm excited to read the rest of the series.

Enjoyable read. Two people who can't stand each other, one moment of lust....and the inevitable happens. An accidental pregnancy and the consequences. Need to read it to see what happens.
Very good story. Very different from the usual setting but a nice change just the same. I liked the main male character even though he was a bit stubborn. Nice ending. Looking forward to reading more by this author. ☺
I just finished reading this book from Leslie North and it was awesome! I love her characters and the story was captivating. It was great from beginning to end! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves a good romance story.
