This is an exquisite book exploring the wonders of Australian native plants, from giant kelp to microscopic ferns and of course, our iconic plants like banksias, wattles and eucalypts.
Meticulously researched with stunning illustrations, what makes this book different is all the surprises! Even as a grandmother and garden lover, I learned so much, and my grandies love it too, even though one of them may be a bit young for it.
I love that it is laid out in a way that kids of many ages could enjoy it. Lots of little pockets of information and then these luscious, bright illustrations that I want on my wall!
I'm quite floored by the detail in this book. I love Tania's work and she has done an amazing job with Flora. I would say it's my favourite of all her works.
