The silver wolf thinks I’m his prey. Little does he know, he’s mine.
The rabbit shifters and the werewolves have had a truce for centuries. Our burrow sets three of our kind loose in the woods on Easter to be hunted, to be slaughtered like the prey we are.

I loved how Carvers wolf had a mind of his own. The way he hated Ruth, but his wolf was obsessed with her 🤭 The whole part about his twin/her sister was so messed up.

I really enjoyed this novella!! I felt so bad for Ruth and her cult like community, who are Shifters, who offer up 3 bunnies a year to keep the peace with the wolves. So this year Ruth is picked she said she didn't wanna end up like her sister and die, so she's fighting back. She meets Carver, who is the wolf who doesn't like the hunt and doesn't talk to his wolf until now he also the wolf that plants the bunnies for the pack.
But his wolf is now speaking to him, and he's ready to hunt, but for other reasons 😈 he and his wolf are now fighting kill their bunny or mate her. Lots of push and pull between them..
I love every second of it 🥵🥵🥵 don't worry. We also have pack drama and Ruth finding out which wolf killed her sister. And it's a dooziny.

Ruth goes into heat and needs Carver’s mating mark to make it out alive. But a mating between a bunny and a wolf isn’t done and the ramifications of a mating is bigger than just a quick rut. These two are about to lay it all on the line.
While this story was twisted, dark, full of triggers and kinky steam, I really enjoyed the undercurrent of sweetness between Carver and Ruth. It peeked through in the best ways and I loved their HEA.
Carver was all growly grump, his wolf was all hot AF “mine, mine, mine” and Ruth was a blood thirsty badass. Aiden knocked it out of the park with this spooky-ish smut fest and I LOVED it.

4.2⭐️. I was lucky enough to meet Aiden Pierce at GWWI (she’s literally so nice) and then got to ARC read Prey for Rabbit!! All I have to say is WOW… that was soooo twisted and 🥵! It’s giving spicy shifter hunger games and I’m here for it! When Ruth is chosen as the sacrifice to keep the peace between the wolf and rabbit shifters, she decides she won’t go willingly to the slaughter!! Please check the trigger!! They are VERY accurate to what you are going to see in this book!!

Was this my first ever dark shifter romance? Absolutely
Would I read another? ABSOLUTELY
This was extremely new to me and is it wrong to say I loved every single minute of it? This follows Carver & Ruth, Carver can shift into a wolf & Ruth.. well she shifts into a bunny. It definitely gives off hunger games vibes with the picking names from a jar and they are the “sacrifice”.
Aiden Pierce definitely knows how to write her story and her spice because when I tell you I was INTRIGUED.. I mean I was intrigued 😭
This was an easy 4 stars and the spice was SPICIN!!! I mean the ax scene?!?! INSANE!!!!!

A rabbit shifter and a werewolf. I never thought I would read a romance about these two things but Aiden’s mind is a wonderful place and I LOVED IT! Could not put it down.
This story follows Carver who is the outcast of his pack and Ruth who is fierce and courageous. They’re perfect for one another.

As always Aiden did it again with her unhinged characters!!! This book was absolutely amazing and I love the forbidden-ness of Carver and Ruth relationship. There was so much going on in this books but holy crap was said freaking amazing!!! Carver was definitely on grumpy man and put that into being angry and grieving holy smokes!!! I seriously was not expecting what happened in this book but I’m so glad it happened!!! And Ruth was badass fighting to get out of the situation her home put her in. Seeing them finally decide to say screw it and be together was even more explosive, I’m so glad I got to read this early and give my review because you all need to read how amazing it is!!!

I absolutely devoured this book! Be sure to check the content warnings but if you like dark and extra spicy this is a great Halloween read. It's definitely a page turner and kept me enthralled throughout every scene. The pacing was quick, as it must be for a hunt. 😈🤩
Aiden writes a beautiful balance of spicy in this MF bunny shifter x werewolf shifter romance, she was just supposed to be a sacrifice and yet she made the beast wake. 😉

This was so much fun to read. It reads smoothly and I appreciate the fast pace. It doesn't overstay its welcome and leaves you satisfied.

There’s so many problematic things in this book but you know what? Even so, this one had a little bit of plot which we can’t say for all the books in that collection. I’ll rate up a little bit.
There’s so many problematic things in this book but you know what? Even so, this one had a little bit of plot which we can’t say for all the books in that collection. I’ll rate up a little bit.

I always love going into Aiden’s books blind and I’ve never been disappointed. I devoured this book like a starving wolf. Bunny and werewolf shifters?? Yes please! This was hot and heavy with major primal play. Forbidden doesn’t mean anything to Ruth and Carver. As the outsiders,they find each other and things get messy but oh so hot.
Seriously, leave your morels at the door or in this case at the edge of the forest. Dive into the rabbit hole and just hang on for the ride. It won’t disappoint, I promise!

Well that was depraved, but entertaining. Good plot, good world building, but very depraved!
