Third Time Lucky
It took Floss and Billy nine long years to admit they were in love. Now, nearly three years later, things are about to change again.
Floss is expecting a baby, (after miscarrying twice) and Billy is getting his head around it. He has two ex-wives, a child from each one, and has never been a fan of children. But he made a commitment to Floss, and he will try to keep it.
Floss thought having a baby with the man she loves would make everything wonderful. It's not going exactly to plan. Billy has a habit of running off when the going gets tough, and she's starting to know the feeling.
Another problem is that someone is attacking heavily pregnant mothers in their early forties to harm their unborn babies. Floss falls into that category, and the successful journalist, Billy, releases the story to the public. Unbeknownst to him, it might backfire on the woman he loves.
