The only thing more powerful than love is instinct, especially when three are involved…
Artemis
Taking two omegas through heat—with the omegas firmly in charge—sounds like my idea of a great time. I love the idea of role-playing a little captivity and being milked like a cow for my playmates. But there are much more to Fletcher and Gideon than meets the eye. The more I fall in love with them, the more I worry that I’m a danger to them.
Gideon
I’m terrified of alphas. Mostly because one in particular still thinks he has a claim on me. But biology dictates that I have one now and then…and I really want babies. I love Fletcher with my whole heart, but he’s also an omega and can only give me so much. Could Artemis be the solution to our problem, or is he the beginning of so many more problems?
Fletcher
I should have been born an alpha. My heart is alpha, but my body and its needs are all omega. Which is why bringing Artemis into my and Fletcher’s life was the best and worst idea ever. Biologically, he gets the job done and fulfills all of our darkest fantasies. But as we play, I’ve been starting to like him a little too much.
I can’t afford to fall for someone other than my omega husband, especially not an alpha with some questionable connections. Can Artemis and I keep Gideon safe from his past, or will the bond we’re forming ruin everything?
Ok. So where do I even begin with this book. I am a huge fan of this author’s omegaverse. This series specifically. It’s just so fun and sexy. However, this one did not work for me at all. I am very particular about my MMM romances. It needs to be fair and equal between all three or it makes me uncomfortable and I can’t get in line with the relationship. This one unfortunately was so completely off balance that I honestly was wishing the one omega would leave and find love elsewhere cause he deserved so much better!
Gideon felt a little immature in the story but overall I really enjoyed him as a character but really wish he was more a part of the relationship. I felt like he was completely shafted and as one of the omegas that were married before meeting the Alpha that is not ok to me! I disliked Fletcher on so many levels and it just got worse and worse throughout. To me it felt like what he was doing with Artemis was cheating and Gideon just forgave and still got the shit end of the deal. Artemis was ok. Neither here nor there.
I ended up finishing the book because I didn’t feel the first bit of imbalance until about 45%. And I was hoping it was a one off so I continued. The imbalance takes over a major part of the second half and at that point I felt compelled to finish and hope that it got better. Unfortunately even in the second last chapter I was still feeling it.
Overall if you have any sensitivity to MMM fairness I beg you not to read this book. I had a really hard time getting through it and if I had known what the relationship was going to be like I never would have picked it up. On the other hand if that’s not something that bothers you I say give it a try because this author is great and I absolutely love the concept for this series! You just never know!
Artemis arranges a meeting with Fletcher through the Dark Fantasies club, he learns that Fletcher’s husband Gideon is due in heat & they’d like Artemis to take Gideon through it. However Gideon is terrified of alphas after being abused. Then Fletcher comes into heat. Then Gideon’s past arrives. The fourth book in the series & it’s easily read on its own even though we’ve met Artemis before. I loved Artemis, the alpha who could submit, Fletcher the omega with alpha tendencies & Gideon who was afraid of his shadow but had hidden depths, I loved the dynamics between them & how a scene quickly became something more. The book flows very nicely until the past appears & then the pace ramps up & I finished the second half in a sitting as I couldn’t put it down. Wonderful characters, fast paced & a lovely epilogue I voluntarily read and reviewed a special copy of this book; all thoughts and opinions are my own
Their Alpha is the fourth book in the Omegas After Dark series. Each book can be read as a standalone but why not enjoy the rest of the series. This is an MMM story about Artemis an alpha, Gideon an omega who's afraid of alphas, and Fletcher an omega who thinks he should have been an alpha. These three make a plan through the the Dark Fantasies Club app for some role play during their heat. The chemistry between these three is amazing and the sexy time are hot. I loved this book so much. I would definitely recommend this book and series.
Their Alpha is the fourth book in the ‘Omega After Dark’ series. It stars omegas Gideon and Fletcher, a married pair, and Artemis, an Alpha. This is told in first person from Gideon, Fletcher, and Artemis’ povs.
The blurb does a good job of describing the plot so I’ll only add a bit more. Artemis appeared in the previous book as a friend of Victor’s. Artemis wasn’t a typical dominating Alpha. He could be, but he also had a tender, nurturing side and was willing to give control up to omegas. In fact he enjoyed it. Fletcher needed an Alpha like Artemis to take Gideon, Fletcher’s husband, through heat. Because Fletcher was an omega, he couldn’t completely satisfy Gideon nor get him pregnant. The conflicts come in the way of Fletcher and Artemis forming a bond, Fletcher feeling tremendous guilt over it, Gideon dealing with his fear of Alphas, and Gideon’s cult leader tracking them down to get Gideon back.
Fletcher and Gideon were very much in love. Gideon was the typical omega, but Fletcher was not. His personality and behavior was Alpha, but his body was omega and he often grew angry that he felt it betrayed him with his heats. Gideon was sweet, intelligent, and creative. He was a successful writer whose income supported them. Fletcher was focused, cautious, and always on guard to protect Gideon. Fletcher and Artemis met through the Dark Fantasies app. Fletcher needed an Alpha to help Gideon through his heat. Artemis is self-controlled, respectful, accommodating, and willing to do whatever is necessary for both Fletcher and Gideon to feel comfortable. He’s attracted to both omegas, but it’s Fletcher who he falls for first. Gideon’s fear of Alphas was palpable and Fletcher’s feelings of uselessness and guilt made me hurt for both of them.
The author did a great job of creating distinct character personalities and keeping them unique throughout the story. Character growth felt natural and not forced. I found the conflict with the cult leader confusing on why they let him stay, but it made sense once Artemis, Gideon and Fletcher talked amongst themselves and explained the reasoning. The pacing was good so I wasn’t bored. I also liked how the author explained the growth of a three-way bound between the characters. It was believable.
Their Alpha was a great addition to the series. The plot was exciting, and the sex scenes were steamy. I give this book, 5 Stars and recommend it.
I received an ARC from the author and this is my honest and unbiased review.
I’ve tried to read the other books in this series because I love darker themed MM works, but they’ve never quite clicked with me and I have yet to successfully finish one of them. For a series that is described as being darker in tone, the characters, relationships, and plot lines all felt pretty cookie cutter.
But a book with an established omega/omega relationship and a subby alpha? Sign me tf up!
Like I said, this is a big, welcome leap from the other books in the series in terms of tone and setting. The relationship between our omega couple, Fletcher and Gideon, is built on years of love and trust after having met in a shelter. They’re very “us against the world,” and for good reason. But then everything changes when they meet kind and good natured Artemis, an alpha that defies certain expectations of what an alpha should be.
Artemis and Fletcher are instantly enraptured by each other after their first meeting, and it appears Gideon becomes smitten with Artemis too after their respective first encounter. That leads to a lot of anxiety and insecurity from all three people as this sudden newcomer shakes up Fletcher and Gideon’s entire relationship.
Am I sick for saying I enjoyed that? Maybe. But I loved it. That first sex scene (and only sex scene involving all three… criminal!) was a standout moment, both because it was Hot and because you can practically feel the anxiety and fear wracking Fletcher’s entire being as his husband (!!) screams another man’s name while Fletcher takes Gideon through his heat. And to his horror, Fletcher can’t help but want Artemis as well… delicious.
I was also a big fan of the Goode/cult plot line. I’ve never seen an omegaverse take on it before, and I have to say MM Farmer did an amazing job of not only that, but showing the trauma and effects it has on Gideon’s character.
Speaking of, my only complaint is that Gideon got the short end of the stick on nearly everything here. His heat scene and his attraction to Artemis had me thinking we’d see more of them, and Artemis does say he’s falling for him, but Gideon’s not the one having his back blown out in secret every other paragraph. And the fact that Fletcher says his priority is Gideon, only to go behind his husband’s back to fuck the new alpha in every position, makes you feel so sorry for Gideon. I wonder if there were time constraints, but I would’ve loved to see more care being put into Gideon’s arc and to see him actually confront them before they were interrupted by Goode.
Random thoughts: - Gideon and Justice Goode are absolute perfect names for Morman-esque cult members. - Another reason I wish we saw more sex scenes with Gideon is because you can tell he’s an absolute power bottom and both he and Fletcher could ruin Artemis. - I need to rip “aftershock orgasms” out of this author’s vocabulary. - VERY happy with Artemis being a verse alpha that also loves getting pounded. It just makes sense. - Now I need Gideon and Fletcher to switch it up too. - The epilogue is pure perfection <3
Overall I had my complaints, but they weren’t enough to take away how much I ate this book up and how quietly obsessed I am with these three characters and their budding relationship. I’d kill for them to get a sequel, which I know would never happen (especially with this new series announcement that I’m honestly super excited about), but I can dream!!

It feels like its been FOREVER since the last Omega's After Dark book came out, but MM Farmer's been busy. ANYway, here's the fourth novel in her series: "Their Alpha."

This one was an emotionally rollercoaster. Wanting but not wanting. Needing but not trusting. Trusting but not knowing. Knowing but not understanding. All three of them were just thrown into a new situation, without any explanation, and expected to just keep living life. Except! Add in an old abusive stalker and even more Feelings.
I looooove how this one called back to one of MM's previous books. It was perfect and horrible all at once (perfect because same universe--horrible because cult).
I can't wait for the rest of the series (though I'm okay with waiting after MM said she had plans for a new series!!)!!
Trigger Warnings: stalking, blackmail, threats, harassment, violence, toxic views on gender/omega roles, and more.
4.5 stars This is another book in the Omegas After Dark series featuring the Dark Fantasies Club app where Alphas and omegas can find a partner to fulfill a fantasy. In this one, Alpha Artemis has responded for a captive fantasy where he will submit to an omega while restrained in a milking chair, all to supply “seed” for an abused omega going through his heat but not able to tolerate being touched by an Alpha. The fantasy develops according to plan, but with an unexpected glitch or two. Fletcher, the omega husband of omega Gideon usually takes Gideon through his heats alone, but Gideon really wants to get pregnant, so Artemis is needed. There is an attraction between Fletcher and Artemis, causing a complication, as well as a threat from an Alpha toward Gideon, always in the background. When the threat becomes more imminent, Artemis finds himself ready to do whatever he needs to do to protect “his omegas”. This was a bit unusual for the previous desired fantasies but it was an interesting situation involving a lot of complicated se*ual activity on all three parts, and an unusual development comes out of this dynamic. Characters are relatable and sympathetic, there is quite a bit of action going on, the villain is sneaky and underhanded, justice is served, and there are adorable babies and a wedding in view to make for the obligatory HEA.
This has been an enjoyable series so far, loosely tied to the Bangers and Mash series by the same author, with stories of omegas in heat helped by Alphas through the Emergency Support Alphas program. This series just uses an app to match fantasies, whether from Alphas or omegas, but both have interesting, engaging and entertaining stories to pull the reader into the world of Barrington, home of both series. Fun reads for a little out of the ordinary Alpha and omega tales.

“Their Alpha” is book four in the Omegas After Dark series written by MM Farmer (paranormal genre pen name for Merry Farmer). This is a paranormal ménage story that takes places in the Omegaverse world which is populated with Alphas, Omegas, and Betas. Each category is defined by specific traits and abilities. Both men and women can belong to any one category. I am still trying to find my way around this genre and Merry Farmer is an excellent author to act as a guide where the rulebook for men and women is turned on its head. In this story the three main characters are male: Artemis is an Alpha, Fletcher and Gideon are married Omegas. As with the other stories in this series, the characters are brought together by participating in kink fantasies set up by the Dark Fantasies Club. This is a thoroughly enjoyable story that is well written. Each character comes with a very specific background, some with issues to overcome and others with a kink itch needed to be satisfied. Artemis and Fletcher are instantly drawn to one another which amps up the steam content. Gideon is afraid of Alphas because of past abuse, however, Artemis is sensitive to Gideon’s needs so he approaches the Omega with gentle care. This story encompasses more than just the fantasy hookup. There is a dangerous man after Gideon so the newly formed trio takes to the road to protect him. This story is fast paced and engaging, I had a hard time putting it down until I was finished. This is part of a series or can be read as a stand-alone. Very explicit and erotic material for adults only. Definitely recommended, especially for those who are fans of the Omengaverse genre and fans of Merry Farmer.

“His name is Gideon, and he’s everything to me. Everything... I would do anything for him. I do everything for him now.”
I absolutely loved this book! As soon as I read the synopsis, I knew I had to read it. And I think it's my new favorite out of all MM Farmer's books. This series has been fun (and sexy) in each installment. But I really enjoyed the dynamics in this one. I loved married omegas Gideon and Fletcher, and alpha Artemis. Poor Gideon has suffered trauma and is fearful of alphas. But Fletcher is also an omega and can't give Gideon what he needs. He hates that he can't be the one to take care of him- or give him the baby he wants. So he sets up meetings like this for him. He uses different accommodations when his own heat comes about a month afterward. Artemis was really kind, gentle, and understanding. I liked that when Gideon was afraid, he strapped himself down to calm him and put him more at ease.
I loved that both Fletcher and Gid both felt attracted to Artemis because of his personality more than physical attractiveness. It was who Artemis was that drew them. But I was also sad how ashamed both felt for those feelings because the two omegas were everything to each other. I loved that Artemis really admired Fletcher and the way he devoted himself to his husband. He thought Gideon really sweet. He was falling for Fletcher first. Though his instincts screamed at him to care for them both.
The chemistry in this book was fire! But I loved all the emotion in it, too- everyone trying to figure out their feelings and the changing dynamic. I was so focused on that, I forgot about a threat from Gideon's past.
A fantastic book! I can't wait to read it again! 5 stars.
Gideon deserved better. I’m just so mad about that, it ruined the book for me.
He is the reason that Artemis and Fletcher meet in the first place, and both feel protective over him and that sounds super promising. But then once Fletcher and Artemis have a bond, it’s like they forget he exists. They keep making out and having sex with each other, excluding him completely. And this is after Fletcher goes on and on about how he doesn’t want to abandon Gideon because he’s his reason for living or whatever, yeah obviously not. They barely pay him any attention and while it says they are affectionate with him, why are they excluding him completely? Don’t they want to make the relationship work with all 3 of them? (and they are supposedly trying to hide it but seriously guys, in the same bed?) So Gideon sits them down (literally has to interrupt them doing it bc they can’t chill for two seconds) and tells them that he feels excluded but is also so understanding about it, which they don’t deserve bc they’re being asses. They are interrupted by Goode, and both get all protective over him again. But then they are too busy making out to realize that he’s being abducted? He almost DIES because they are too busy sucking face to realize that both Gideon and the bad guy they’re trying to protect him from have left the house?? Are you fucking kidding me???
And then everything is solved because they all get bonds with each other, yay, but they never apologize for that, and that night, Fletcher crawls OVER Gideon to have sex with Artemis again? Seriously? They STILL can’t prioritize Gideon even after their negligence almost means they lose him forever????? Fucking mind-boggling.

4.5 stars Three different men find the deepest connection once they are all together. Gideon and Fletcher are both omegas who found one another several years ago and fell in love. Gideon had recently escaped an abusive situation so Fletcher took on the role of protector, a role he is suited to even though he isn't an alpha. However, there are certain biological needs that can't be completely met when they go into heat and alternative methods don't always help. Artemis isn't happy with his current job and is looking for something new. He is an alpha who has a kink for submitting during sexy times. Needing to take the edge off his stress, he knows exactly what will help blow off some steam - the Dark Fantasies Club app. The fantasy encounter between these three men is full of high octane intense sexy times. Their chemistry is off the charts and by the end of their time together, all three are left exhausted but fully sated. However, more happened during their time together than any could have expected, leading to some mixed feelings - worry, elation, confusion, and hope. When Gideon's past resurfaces, it takes all three working together to protect and save him. This is the final step to solidifying their bond, their love, and the start to a really satisfying HEA.
I found the MC's to all be likeable, but with differing characteristics that all worked well together. This book is fast paced, engaging, and entertaining, and I would recommend it if this style is to your liking.

While I normally love MM Farmer I really had trouble with her Omegas After Dark series, the books just didn't do it for me.
This one though I picked because of the plot, two omegas struggling with the heat and needing the Alpha to just perform.
It's more a seriously kinky book than necessarily a dark one, the fantasy is interesting but what made the book interesting for me was the dynamic of the Omegas.
Gideon and Fletcher aren't just to Omegas in love, they are on the run and hidding from Gideon's family and his past upbringing. Needing a willing Alpha to just be used for his sperm to help Gideon through his heat without physical contact is an interesting twist on typical heat stories.
I must say, Fletcher nearly broke me. His love for Gideon is so much, he is a caring alpha in all but body. His reaction to Artemis during the heat was heartbreaking. Reading how he was forming a bond while in love with someone else tore me up.
Artemis is also not your typical alpha, he is far too submissive in his kink to fit the sterotype. He struggles with the unintentional bond as his biggest concern is the affect on Gideon.
Gideon is a shy omega, scarred inside from his abuse and frightend. While he develops a sense of security around Artemis, I felt he was the less interesting character of the three. Saying that, I love his creativity and dreams and that he sees a way forward.
When the ugly past is raising its head, Artemis is starting to realise that there is a possibility for all three of them to make it work.
It’s hard enough to write a romance novel and have it be a terrific read, but when you write about an established couple who add another to the relationship, as Merry Farmer has done here, it makes things even more difficult. First of all is that many readers, myself included, don’t like the idea that someone might be cheating and just the dynamics of three people is an added element of complications. Ms. Farmer has dealt with these problems magnificently in this addition to her Omegas After Dark series. Ms. Farmer is particularly adept at writing Omegavers novels and giving us atypical characters who go against the traditions that society has set for them. This allows her to comment on how our modern and historical societies have always expected people to be and act a certain way and how those things are and should be changing. Don’t worry the books are WAY more entertaining than the lectures they could be as she has such a great knack for slipping education, history lessons and exposing things that we should get rid of nowadays without them ever feeling like you are reading anything in the least educational. This book a marvelous trio of two omegas that are together and they bring an alpha into their lives. Read the blurb (which is another thing Farmer is good at which is harder than you might think) and if this seems like something you might like to read then I can’t recommend it, or any of this series, highly enough.

I loved this story with the two omegas who were running from an evil but powerful man. Thankfully Artemis was the right Alpha to have on their side. Lots of emotions and feelings in this dramatic story. This was an MMM story with mature content set in the omegaverse with MPREG.
1st person, past tense, multi PoV Artemis Montgomery, alpha (mid-thirties), financial executive and board member for Victory Holdings Fletcher Battersea, omega (late twenties), IT for a tech company (remote work) Gideon Battersea, omega (24), YA author Tristian Freehold
This was the first of the series that I've read and, although other characters from the series appear, this stands alone well and doesn't ruin anything about the previous books if you want to circle back and read them too. The set-up for this story really intrigued me; I loved the idea of an establish omega couple finding and using an alpha for their satisfaction and the added layer of intrigue with the tease of Gideon's past coming back appealed to me. On that note, though this series deals with more intense subject matter than the author's Banger's and Mash books, and considering the content warning and Gideon's history specifically I didn't find this overwhelmingly dark or difficult to read. Enough information is given to convey the situation but not traumatize the reader.
The first 40% was an absolute buffet of heat sex and it was every bit as hot as it was promised to be. I adored the chemistry that absolutely sizzled between the three of them and I thought Fletcher and Gideon were just the sweetest things. Fletcher did such an excellent job of caring and providing for his traumatized omega mate - his inner conflict and turmoil in balancing and satisfying their needs was so heart wrenching at times. Artemis's protective instincts kicking in while he respected the heck out of the boundaries put in place and the wants and needs of his omegas was delicious. The omega fairy tales were an adorable thread to have running through the story and it was so lovely seeing Gideon drawing strength from them, his growth over the course of the story was pretty satisfying and only possible since he felt so secure with his two mates.
I found the relationship struggled to find its equilibrium in the second half and, though it eventually got where it needed to go, I wish it had happened earlier so we could have reveled in the dynamic a little, especially considering we were also dealing with a pretty significant side plot of Gideon's traumatic past catching up with him, I'd have preferred for him to be more secure in his place in the relationship when that all transpired. Still, the stakes kept me turning the pages as I devoured this story. I have to admit that while the resolution was satisfactory, the events were a little convoluted. All's well that ends well though.
Thoroughly enjoyed this read Fletcher set up a date with Artemus, but there’s a twist. Fletcher is an Omega and Artemis is an alpha, but on this date Fletcher will be the one in charge. He is a more dominant omega, and he has a husband called Gideon who is also an Omega who has had trauma in his past, so needs a more submissive alpha to help him through his heat. There is an attraction between Fletcher and Artemus as soon as they meet, but how can this work?? This book is so passionate, and there is a twist in the story of Gideon safety. Can Fletcher and Artemis Keep him safe?? Once I started this book, I really couldn’t put it down. I enjoyed the dynamics of this little group. My heart went out to Fletcher and Gideon with their confusion about their feelings for Artemis. Artemis I see an outstanding Alpha! But it never took away from the relationship they had together. This book made me angry in places and you’ll know exactly where I mean as soon as you start the book. A great read I’m not sure I’m gonna enjoy the fairytales, but then I’ve enjoyed everything else This author has wrote so looking forward to the next book. .

4.5 stars. For me, this was a wonderful piece of work!
Fletcher and Gideon are married, they love each other deeply. Both are omegas, Fletcher has some of the alpha vibes, the ones Gideon can handle. Gideon was abused and traumatized by an alpha and will never be with one again. They fled because that abusive alpha wanted to have Gideon back in his claws.
Fletcher hires an alpha for Gideon's heats. They only use their cum, Gideon desperately wants to get pregnant. Artemis is an extraordinary alpha, he’s kind, gentle, and has submissive tendencies.
Imagine an alpha strapped and milked for a good cause. But that’s not the only thing that’s happening, Fletcher feels guilty about his feelings for Artemis, Gideon isn’t that afraid of Artemis, and Artemis is smitten with both omegas.
It’s getting complicated when there’s an unexpected twist in their dynamic. Above that there’s still an ongoing threat.
Artemis was the best of the best alpha! I don’t want to spoil too much about their dynamic, believe me, the three of them together were scorching! Every part of the story entwined made this a more than wonderful hot and emotional read!
The fourth book in the Omegas After Dark series, Their Alpha, was a delight to read. A dedicated omega couple connects with a submissive alpha through the Dark Fantasies Club to get one of the omegas through his heat. Artemis' kink is unusual in the OAD's city of Barrington. In the work world he's a strong and dominant alpha, but submissive in the bedroom and enjoying a bit of humiliation. Fletcher is his ideal omega, strong and bossy. Fletcher's husband, Gideon, is a more traditional omega, gentle, ethereal. Artemis is attracted to both. As is usual in the OAD world, there's a touch of danger, the omegas are on the run from Gideon's ex. This brings out Artemis' protective instinct. Their bedroom scenes are hotter than a lava pool. But they're also sweet. Lots of slow moves and check-ins. Worldbuilding is excellent. From his dismissive treatment of his staff and his oily charm, it was obvious who the villain was. But how they were going to outwit him and get their triad HEA is a fun ride.

MM Farmer’s Their Alpha is an extraordinary addition to the Omegas After Dark series, breaking away from the tropes of typical omegaverse stories with a compelling mix of action, romance, and raw emotion. The story’s exploration of love, longing, and instinct between three complex characters creates an unforgettable dynamic that keeps you hooked from start to finish.
Artemis, Gideon, and Fletcher each bring unique struggles and desires to their bond, weaving a tale of vulnerability, strength, and deep emotional connection. The chemistry between them is sizzling, but it’s the layers of trust and personal growth that make their relationship so captivating. Farmer skillfully balances the intimate moments with high-stakes action, adding tension that amplifies the emotional payoff.
This isn’t just a steamy romance—it’s a story about overcoming fear, embracing who you are, and fighting for the ones you love. Whether you’re new to the series or a longtime fan, Their Alpha is a must-read that delivers passion, heart, and a truly satisfying conclusion.

Omega husbands Gideon and Fletcher went on to the Dark Fantasies Club app to find an Alpha who was willing to be used for his seed to help Gideon through his heat while not actually interacting with him. Gideon fears Alphas but needs one to get through his heat AND he wants a baby which his Omega husband can’t help with, much to Fletchers chagrin.
Artemis is a gentle Alpha who loves a strong Omega who can make him submit and treat him like a stud bull. He gets excited when he learns about Gideon & Fletcher. When Gideon goes i to heat, Artemis goes to their house and the seed extraction begins.
Things don’t go quite to plan when Fletcher unexpectedly goes into heat as well. While he’s there, Artemis gets to know the men and gets close to them, close enough to learn about Gideon’s past and the evil they are hiding from.
Gideon’s past catches up to him and they need to run.
***** POV … multi first person
Standalone or series… book 4 in series CAN be read as standalone
Fletcher and Gideon are a married omega couple. Although Gideon has a fear of Alphas because of the horrible one he escaped, he and Fletcher need to find an Alpha to get through their heat. Artemis is an Alpha who definitely shows his alpha nature to the public, yet is mild among the omegas. And since Omega Fletcher has always felt that he should have been born an alpha, he behaves that way even though his body is omega. Gideon is a typical omega. Artemis fit among the two of them very well. He is caring and protective. And he can provide what Fletcher cannot without making Fletcher feel inadequate. Artemis was never pushy with either of them and was most comfortable just being there for their needs. Will their relationship allow the three of them to remain together as they connect and accept each other? Will Gideon get to have the baby he desires so much? Or will Gideon’s cruel ex-alpha track him down to destroy their family?
I was surprised at how much I liked this omegaverse story as I tend to stay away from books which are MMM AND omegaverse, but since the author was Merry Farmer I gave it a shot. I think I’m adding MMM to my latest fav tropes.
The spice was spicing in the first half of the book as Artemis and Fletcher worked out a deal to tend to their needs as a submissive alpha and a caring omega husband. I needed to see how Fletcher, Artemis and Gideon (Fletcher’s omega husband) was going to figure how to handle their heat, like way to go Artemis for handling 2 omegas in heat and then head off to a job interview. He’s got some stamina. (Big eyes)
I wanted to say I saw the epilogue coming, but I didn’t. Lol.
So come for the spice and stay for the suspense. Recommend all around for a sweet MMM omegaverse story with a bit of a cult drama.
I really enjoyed this book in the After Dark Series, there were crossover characters from previous books in the series and this book is Artemis’s story. He has a part to play in Fletcher’s and Gideon’s lives, who are both omegas and are a married couple, the only thing missing from their marriage are children, this is where they Artemis comes in, but will he bring a danger to their lives that they can do without? Find out in this seriously compelling story that is hotter than hot and packed full of action that will have you reading until the very last page. MM Farmer really knows how to tell a story that leaves the reader feeling that they have journeyed with the characters into their happily ever after.

Gideon writes books and had been abused by the alpha his father gave him to and married to Fletcher and on the run from the alpha, but they wanted a child and they were both omegas. Artemis wanting to leave the company he works for another company and does dark fantasies. Gideon and Fletcher sign up hoping Fletcher gets pregnant but they caught feelings. Goode the alpha that abused Gideon was the person that Artemis had an interview with but decided on not going to work there. He went to warn them that Goode was coming but they had already left the farm, he used their bond and found them. Heard that there was a reward on Gideon but Goode took Gideon it was raining and got too close to the edge of cliff. Goode was gone.

OUTSTANDING! An unfortunate coincidental impossible situation is it's own self adhesive that won't let you put the kindle down. Fletcher and Gideon are married omegas. Gideon, has a very strong fear of Alphas. They come from similar horrible catastrophic paths and bond over escaping. Artemis is an alpha who has special non alphy kinks. Fletcher, engages Artemis to indirectly help with Gideon's heat. As if the planets align, there are a few unexpected consequences through Gideon's heat. The author, gives us a satisfying bit of horror, action, adventure mystery, family drama, workplace drama, challenges to friendships family and strangers to create a captivating story. Fantastic series. Well done! I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Oooh the Omegas After Dark series just keeps getting better and better! I love how at least one MC from each book connects (in some way) to the next. For some of this book, I was a bit, well, I guess disgruntled fits, at the exclusion of Gideon in certain parts, but then she brought it all together coherently & cohesively, and I was all good again. The way the relations between the three characters evolved was heart-wrenching and uplifting, endearing and sometimes worrisome, but it all worked out as it should. As for the bad guy & that whole thing - I'm so happy how it ended up too, especially the wrap-up in the epilogue! So glad. Very good romance & triad & overcoming fear, past & hardships, the author did a really good job.
I don't think this author knows how to write a bad book. I love the omega's after dark series I'm sad that she's taking a break from it. I was really hoping that detective surely would get her story with a sassy Omega. I already loved Artemis and Fletcher and Gideon were just amazing. I could feel the love jumping off the page. And my heart broke for Gideon and everything that he had been through. I also felt Fletcher's pain when he felt like he couldn't give Gideon everything he needed. But in actuality he did give him everything he needed. And the three of them just complete each other. I also really want to see Simon and Victor have a baby.

Is it hot in here? It’s hot in here. Or in the words of Jim Carey, Smokin! So many 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️. I think this is one of the spicier novels I’ve read by MM Farmer. And I loved it! The characters were so much fun too. Including an omega that’s got some alpha personality traits. And an alpha that veers a bit omega. And the story line has just the right amount of tension in the developing relationships and for the suspense plot. Thumbs up!.

I really enjoyed seeing Artemis milking kink, his alpha was refreshing. The way Fletcher cares for Gideon is heartwarming and Gideon is so brave confronting his fears. It's always great to read a book with a very common trope, like A/o dynamics with a bit of a twist to keep it new. This book was well written and I enjoyed reading it. It's part of a series but can be read solo with no problem at all. The smut is quite fun to read and it has an action plot very interesting.

I enjoyed this book but I still have my reservation about some of it. I'm actually late on my review because I unsure how to put into words what I thought. I liked all three of these men Artemis, Gideon and Fletcher but I did feel as though the relationship was unbalance in the way that I felt like Gideon was left out of it. I enjoyed the little bit of "darkness" that book offered and the steam, I just wished it was balanced.
