When another chance at love…means letting go of the past.
Lacey
When the relationship with my high school sweetheart turns sour, staying isn’t an option. I just hope I can get far enough away before he realizes I’ve left. With a little bit of cash and a newly acquired camper, I take off looking for freedom and another chance at love. Lucky for me, I find both. I just didn’t expect holding on to them would be the challenging part. Now I have to make a risk letting my past catch up with me or giving up the best thing I’ve ever had. Easy enough, right?

Jacob
After learning the same lesson twice with my ex-girlfriend, I’m convinced staying permanently single is my best option. I’m done with relationships…which would be a lot easier if I could avoid Lacey, the woman I find increasingly occupying my thoughts—and my personal space. I want to keep her close, but I can’t give in to her siren song, or she will undeniably be my demise. We both have our pasts, and frankly, hers doesn’t seem too far away.

Tropes include small town, friends to lovers, fresh start, grumpy/sunshine, slow burn, cowboys, and found family.

Couldn’t really jive with Lacey’s character. Shes been through a lot and gets the happiness she deserves in the end. That being said, I loved Jacob and his family. Very good story with a good message. You can heal after trauma and everyone does it differently and that’s OK.

Adorable debut novel set in small-town Montana!

I loved the FMC in this book. She demonstrates a lot of bravery in getting away from a bad situation and taking her life back. She briefly dates a really nice guy in her new town, and (spoiler) is self-aware enough to know that, even though he's nice, she can continue to move on and search for the love of her life.

The MMC is the perfect mix of grumpy with "let me do all these jobs to make you safe and happy." They have some fun banter, and he's really sweet with her once he finally gets over his fear and accepts that they care for each other.

The even better banter comes in the early part of the book when his ex is still hanging around and is not nice to the FMC. Thought we might see a cat fight at some point!

The book isn't spicy and romance scenes are fade to black, but there is a lot of great tension and angst as they build up that part of their relationship.

There are some fun side characters, the MMCs twin sister is a hoot and needs to find her man, and I know that the man FMC briefly date (the good guy) has his own book coming out in a few months. It's not often you will root for the jilted ex, but you totally will!

- I love this "For all the beautiful people out there who feel undeserving. You are enough."
- it is well written and I love the story a sit is about two people that can't let go of their past and aswell as trust
- I love how it is a cute small town story
- the purpose is to give past history as well as current relationship
- I love how the characters are well developed and I love how the secondary characters  lend credence to this tale
- the characters Jacob and Lacy have been hurt in previous relationships that are convinced that they don't want another relationship
- they think staying single is better off than getting hurt but they have one problem  that they are have spectacular chemistry.... don't want to act on it
- I love how the  triggers are aware but they are handfully tactfully
-  these two people  are just made for each other
- this won't be the last read from the author  and I can't wait till I read rest of the books from the author

This was such a cute cozy slow burn!!

Lacey is coming from a really rough past, and you can feel that in everything she does. She’s just trying to start over and keep her head down, and I liked that her healing wasn’t rushed or magically fixed overnight. It felt real.

Jacob is very much that grumpy, small town guy, but he softens in such a subtle way. Their relationship builds slow, like actual slow burn, which I appreciated because it made the connection feel more genuine instead of forced.

I will say, it’s not super fast paced and the spice is pretty mild, so if you’re going in expecting a lot of drama or intensity, this isn’t that. It’s more about healing, trust, and finding your footing again.

Overall, it’s a sweet, emotional read with a softer vibe. Nothing crazy, but it was a nice change of pace and I really enjoyed it.

Falling for Gypsy is a well written tale of two people who can't let go of their past and just trust. Cute small town story. This storyline rambles a little but it's purpose is to give past history as well as current relationship. The characters are well developed and even the secondary characters lend credence to this tale. Jacob and Lacy have both been hurt in past relationships are are convinced that they do not want another relationship. By staying single they believe they can keep from getting hurt again. The problem is they have fantastic chemistry but don't want to act on it. There are some triggers so beware but they are handled tactfully and with finesse. These two were made for each other. This is the first book I have read from this author but it won't be the last.

its ok

The author can write well, but it is just a really boring story. It really dragged on and I wasn’t a fan of how they had flashbacks for the reader the re-explained things. Everyone who genuinely had healthy relationships were quick to break up the second something was a not what they wanted, but constantly for years accept bad relationships and bad behavior and keep going back with exes? I don’t think the way the characters were established that makes any sense. Not without at least a discussion. Can blame trauma, but that walks out the door when theyd go back with the person who traumatized them. Idk just not for me. Not into the story line at all. Again, was boring.

I was able to read this early with an ARC copy. Loved it! This book is very cute. The men in this book (minus Ben) are the best. Lacey is a brave and strong main character going through a lot but still is trying to move forward and make the best out of life. I loved that she saw hr worth throughout the book and was able to voice that in the end.

Super warm, fast and fun read. Loved getting to see the characters in the epilogue and how their life turned out.

Waiting and hoping for book 2 in series!

I was so excited to receive an ARC copy of Falling For Gypsy. After reading the blurb, I knew this book was about to be right up my alley. I mean..a story with cowboys, slow burn, and a fresh start for the FMC, yes please. This small town romance was perfect in every way, I loved every second of it. Amora Blake did a beautiful job with the writing. The characters were all very well-written, and I loved all the banter. It was sweet, cozy, and funny. Absolute perfection. I highly recommend this book, and I look forward to reading future books written by Amora Blake!

This small town romance was perfect. I absolutely loved how Lacey and Jacob’s story is told and how their love blossomed through out the whole book. The flashbacks Lacey had and how well it was told so you could actually picture what the past for her looked like gave me so much hope for how the book was going to end. I recommend everyone to purchase this book and give it a read, It’s the perfect read and i will be buying a physical copy to add to my shelf and read again

You say Montana, and I am all about it! This dual-point view provides a great perspective into the story of Lacey and Jacob. Lacey is a strong and courageous woman despite her past. Jacob is a grumpy veterinarian but an overall good guy. The two are learning to forge a new path after separate bad experiences. This was an enjoyable slow burn, and I rooted for them the whole time! The story is a beautifully crafted small-town romance focusing on personal growth and healing.

A beautiful story about finding love after being hurt and broken apart.

This book had me hooked from the beginning, a beautifully written story about fighting your way back to finding yourself and learning how true love should look like. Lacey and Jacob are a true picture of finding love and friendship in someone and learning how to put the pieces back together.

Falling for Gypsy was a cute small town romance in Montana. Learning there can be happy endings and new beginnings after hard life.
Lacey hiding from an abusive ex, learns how to heal, grow and maybe even live again. While Jacob a veterinarian and all around good guy has much to learn when it comes to Lacey.

This is such a beautiful story of love after heartbreak. Lacey is such a strong character and the story was written so well with flashbacks that you really understand her past and are able to empathize. I also love a small town romance. It was a fun and easy read.

No. Tell me how even the “good” guy in the story was giving off creeper, pervy, possessive vibes like her abusive ex.

Also what’s with the language?! Why are we throwing the f word around like this is a war novel instead of a sweet love story? I’m being facetious though, it’s not even a sweet love story. It came across as sad.

Nah fam this ain’t it.

Heart melting

This book is a beautiful story of two people who have trauma in their pasts but fight to have a future. It's a truly fantastic story told with believability. The need to escape or to let go of the past feels so real and easy to identify with. Do check triggers 💙

I don’t always love small town love story books, but I really enjoyed this one. I liked that the main character has more than one love in this story…her friends too!

I resonated with Lacey more than I care to admit and this was a beautiful story of getting out of a terrible situation just to find true love. We often hold ourselves back from better with hopes of things changing until we are pushed way too far. Lacey was lucky to get away and when she did she found exactly what was waiting on the other side of the storm!
