I’ve got big dreams, but they won’t come true if I’m seduced by some nobody wolf shifter.
I’m doing a good job of leaving the farm behind. I’m making friends with humans, dancing with vampires, and living my best life. Any day now, I’ll meet Mr. Rich and Famous, and ride his coattails to my own fame and fortune.
If I fall for the hot wolf shifter who helped move me into the dorms, I’ll be headed straight back to the farm and I’ll never get another chance.
But then, the rich vampire I thought was my ticket to an easy life turns out to be the kind of monster my parents always warned me about, and he’s coming after me.
I’m over trying to find a rich boyfriend. Now, I’m just desperate to make it through college alive.
Wolf Bound is a steamy standalone romance with a happily ever after
We meet Gloria a wolf from the country, Jimmy also a wolf and Bee a human who lives in Jimmys pack come together to follow their dreams and not be stuck in the life that is expected of them.
This book is absolutely hilarious and I found myself laughing out loud at parts through out the book, the witty humour each character brings to each situation they finds themsleves in really made this book so fun.
Throughout the book we get to meet many other interesting friends including vampires and human. Come to support each other during some serious times and of course a must needed HEA.
Great spice with some very descriptive writing, wonderful character building and overall an awesome story that is different to the usual shifter romance and I am here for it and look forward to reading more from this author.

So, this book wasn't the norm, as far as shifter books are concerned. There was no quick "I'm her mate, so I'll just take her." Gloria has plans for her life and she will not waver from said plans, and there is definitely no room for a relationship with a wolf shifter… or is there? Jimmy isn't the brightest wolf out there and he is a bit timid, but darn it, he wants the girl. It was fun watching him pursue her and her "dogging" him at every turn. At times, I did find Jimmy to be a bit too needy and whiny, but he was sweet and kind, so I looked past that. I love how their story moved along, and they naturally grew into each other. Then there's the rest of the group of friends. They all had a purpose and fit nicely in the book.

Wolf Bound is the first story in the Berring College series, which I found to be quite entertaining and enjoyable to read. Author Kayla Brooks did a remarkable work with creating this phenomenal book. I couldn’t get enough of this book and the amazing characters. I immediately fell in love with both of the main characters and their breathtaking story. The characters were well developed and perfectly executed throughout the story. I’m definitely going to be looking forward to reading more amazing books from this remarkable author in the near future. I would absolutely recommend this book for anyone who enjoys paranormal romances.

Gloria is a freshman in college and also a wolf shifter who is rooming with a human, Bee.
Jimmy is a wolf shifter that is at the same college as his sister Bee and immediately sniffs out his mate in Gloria.
Jimmy constantly talks about himself as dumb, whines a lot and has puppy eyes. Gloria was just downright rude, as someone who wanted to fit in and disappear and is looking for a rich husband so she doesn’t have to go back to her parent’s farm anymore.
I could not connect with either Gloria or Jimmy to be honest.

I have to share my thoughts on this book! Overall, I enjoyed it, but I found the female main lead a bit challenging. At times, she came off as mean, and honestly, I just couldn’t connect with her. So, I guess I’m not a fan of the FML at all.
That said, I can totally see how others might really love this story—it just didn’t resonate with me. But let’s talk about the male lead! OMG, he’s an absolute dream—like an angel who fell straight from heaven! I adored him! Honestly, I’d jump at the chance to marry you, Jimmy, and maybe even have some adorable pups together! 🥹💖
This was an enjoyable read, offering a refreshing change with a non-alpha MMC. It was a welcome departure from the usual tropes. However, I found myself wanting a bit more depth in exploring the emotional and psychological struggles of the characters. While the story touched on important themes, it could have benefited from delving deeper into their thoughts and feelings to give the narrative even more emotional weight.

Gloria is so happy to go to college. Bee her new roommate is so cute. They hit if off immediately. Gloria runs into another student who is someone who she just might like, his name is Jimmy. Little did she know they were going to be fated mates. Gloria tires to meet all the new people. Gloria and Bee both wanted the college life and doing all the college things. They are loving it until Gloria is drugged. Now they are in trouble.

I got drawn in by a cover again. Honestly even with the synopsis basically being Gloria goes to college and wants to find a rich guy but meets a humble guy instead I feel like the story could have been pretty good. as it was the story was just fine and went off in directions I wasn't expecting. The story was fine, but I probably won't read any subsequent additions to the series.
Wolf Bound is a good, and enjoyable steamy wolf shifter paranormal romance read. The story has a great entertaining world building story line that is well written read. The characters are great, and they have great chemistry. This story is a very entertaining action packed page turning slow burn romance read.

Little bit of school tension can last way to long. Life goals are one thing but when an awful thing happens, can Gloria get back on track? Jimmy thinks he's found his love for life but will he step up for her? Can these two get past the hurdles of their packs and college together? Some seriously erotic scenes remind the reader that being in college can be fun.

I thoroughly enjoyed this debut book. I thought that it was a very thoughtful and well-written story. It was fun, serious, romantic and sexy. I felt like I connected with Gloria and Jimmy and rooted for them to succeed. I loved how new characters were introduced and I felt like they were well-rounded and I wanted to know their story later on in the series. This is a great 5 star read!
Went in blind during stuff your kindle event and snagged this book. It was a cute yet spicy college romantacy. Must say, didn’t know how I felt about the himbo MMC concept, but I ended up digging it in the end. It did leave me wanting more in regard to the supernatural characters though. Enjoyable nonetheless with a HEA.
I love this book with my whole heart. (Am I allowed to say that, considering I'm the one who wrote it?) Well, I do. Jimmy and Gloria's love story is written into my bones and I want the world to know just how much I love them. I hope other folks love them as much as I do!
Love love loved it!! Kept me on the edge of my seat and gave up sleep to finish it. A beautiful slow burn with loads of action and intrigue to keep you riveted. Must read! I received an ARC and leave this review voluntarily.

I liked how this story was about a female wolf that wanted more that just having pups. She wanted to do something and be someone. Along the way her goals and attitude changes all for the better. Jimmy the male in the story and Bee the roommate are withholding so much information about themselves that I was surprised when it all came to light that Gloria was upset. Ypu really see Jimmy becoming more of an adult in this story and you wonder if that was his dad's plan all along. To be the leader he really does need some life experiences and learn to be the Alpha. There were lots of bedroom scenes and they are hot. There is drama and dealing with a very dangerous vampire. I liked how they and their friends took control over something the authorities should have done to help out the victims. There was some confusion at first since the author did not explain the collage had both shifters, vampires and humans attending. You had to assume that everyone knows about them and this is reviled along the way. Also the only shifters at the school were wolves. Why no other shifters or other beings. It was just wolves and vampires. It was a good read and not an instant fated mate bond. It alos has a great epilogue at the end.

Gloria, the female wolf shifter lead, is thrilled to be at college, studying and escaping the stifling sexism that sees her as purely a breeder and helpmate for the pack. She’s not sure what she wants to do but she knows it involves so much more than being a parent and spouse.
Then Jimmy, the male wolf shifter lead, helps her roommate move in and tries to remain in her life. She doesn’t need some random wolf hanging about!
Jimmy knows he’s not the cleverest being around but he’s certain he’s met his mate. Now he just needs to convince her. And keep her safe, which begins to look harder than it should be when she’s roofied and it’s only his swift actions that stop anything she doesn’t want progressing…but now what do they do when the perpetrator is a rich vampire?
This story is dual POV, and a slow moving, slowburn, wolf shifter, college romance. I enjoyed Gloria’s determination to have true life choices and a career that interested her. Jimmy is a true himbo and, whilst there were moments I found him frustrating, I enjoyed the depth of his loyalty and devotion. Whilst he couldn’t create his own path, once it was pointed out to him, he followed it unswervingly, and I appreciated that. I enjoyed the relationship development. I enjoyed that Jimmy truly meant it when he looked for consent. I enjoyed the creative intimate scenes. I enjoyed the non-romance plot and the supportive secondary characters. I enjoyed the non-romance plot resolution, and happy ending for the lead characters. I’m looking forward to more from this author.
