Contains all four stories.
On April 16th, a group of investigators arrived in Ponyville to assist with a recent spree of missing pony cases. What they found was a town deserted and in ruin. Buildings were barricaded and supplies like food, water, and lantern oil were stockpiled inside.
The only record of what may have occurred before their arrival is a journal, found within the local library and believed to belong to Twilight Sparkle, personal student of Princess Celestia.
The validity of many entries are still under question.
