THOR I’d always thought that finding love just wasn’t in the cards for me. Never did I expect that I’d find it in my fifties. A crow man is never too old to find his one!
MAURA I’d lived a life I’d not wish on anyone. He came into my life when I least expected it. He was my reward for the hell I’d lived.
This is a later in life short story from the Crow MC series. For full enjoyment and understanding, you may want to read Reaper first. This book is intended for mature readers 18 years and older.
Born and brought up in Mazabuka, Zambia. I love all genre's but I'm partial to Shifter, Paranormal and MC. I'm a Virtual Assistant by day and a wordsmith by night. I like coffee and cake, sleeping in and lazy weekends unless my husband drags me to a rock concert. My husband is my inspiration for all my male characters and why I'm a believer in love at first sight. We have been together for 29 years. I'm a big believer in family not always being blood but the people you bring into your life and that people come and go in your life as they are needed.
I think I read Thor in the wrong spot but it's okay. I still loved it. I'm glad that at 55 he found is soulmate. That even the older guys knew how to treat their women. This was an amazing story and so was the series.
I have always loved Thor and I'm so glad he got his happy ending. Enjoyed reading about the Stacy character and I can't to see what the amazing Ms Dups does with her.
I was happy to see them both end up together. It was good to see all the kids and grandkids in the end be happy for them and the way they loved each other.
Thor and Maura. This street was for Thor and Maura, continued from the previous books. It was a wonderful look into the lives of many of the Crow family as they continued to spread their wings. I love how Maura and the family can together to unite Sam and Cash over time, Cash was not nice because he had to be in the past. It's nice to see them all together. Loved it.
No matter how old you are there is always love. Michelle Dups wrote such a lovely love story for Thor and Maura, both with difficult past relationships. This short story was a wonderful read
This story is rehashing what went on before in with the others. I would like to know what happened with Stacey from Cash's club. Now to wait for the next generation. HEA.
In other books in this series, we've seen Thor and Maura together and at first they seem like an odd couple, they really work. With this little short we get to see them more up close and how they ended up together. But what will really stick with me about this one is the frank talk at the end when they were visiting Maura's son and the Old Lady who had her eyes opened. To the point that she started asking questions people don't and realized she had a choice to make. I think she made the right one, I just hope that there are updates at some point, I want more for her!
I loved that Thor and Maura made a life together. They both had scrap relationships, but in the end finding each other in their fifties was best thing for them. I loved that her wearing his property patch was enough for them. The advice they gave gave Stacey was perfect and Grudge getting what he deserved was great.
Thor and Maura are made for one another. Both having lived lives that were filled with sadness and drama, this older couple found one another at a time they really needed it.
Beautiful story, and I definitely recommend reading their journey.
This is a little short to read at the end of the Crow MC series. It's a segway from the original Crows to the new Zambia Chapter series and the Queens Wraiths spin-off series which are coming next I believe. The epilogue is super sweet, especially if you enjoyed Noni and Rogue's books.
Love this book and it's series and would recommend it to anyone who loves to read about MC life and their families and friends 🧡 and Michelle is an awesome writer ❤️
The reason I don’t like novellas they’re just too short. I want to stay in the story and stay with the characters for much longer. Maura and Thor deserve every happiness in the world.
I just loved Thor's story. He and Maura deserve the happy life they have. I love reading about the good men and women in these books. They help a lot of people.
So good to see an author write about an older couple finding love and having sex. Really good read and loved the pulling of threads and families together.
Sometimes love comes sneaks in when you least expect it. And isn't that wonderful? The idea that we still has a chance to find love as we enter our, er, late middle-age gives us all hope. When two people don't need each other for anything other than the person they are. When maturity sets aside all the games we play when we're younger. When that one person sets your world on fire.
Thor and Maura are a transitionary book from the Crows family to the new MC in South Africa and reintroduce the Queens Wraiths MC. Makes you wonder what's next from this writer whose words grab you in paragraph one and don't let go. The "one more chapter" meme is very real with this book and with her other works.
I loved Thor and Maura's story. Love doesn't have an age expiration date. Never lose hope. A perfect example of It's when you are not looking for it, it finds you! These two got to know each other, and develop a friendship, then love. No games. It was refreshing! The love and respect they have for each other just shines through. And, it's nice to see the steamy love scenes aren't just for the young couples. I enjoyed the glimpses of couples we've already met, and this book is a nice segue into the new chapter of the crows in Africa. It also introduces us again to the Skulls and the Queens Wraiths. Can't wait to see what adventures Ms. Dups takes us on next. Whatever it is, I'm here for it! Definitely recommend this one.
Another brilliant book by Michelle that closes out the Feannag chapter of the crows. Thor and Maura is a later in life story, they have both been through some tough battles throughout their lives but have survived even if they are a little banged up. Meeting each other and getting the HEA they missed out on in their younger life was a surprise for both of them. This book shows you you are never too old to meet your soulmate so don’t give up hoping.
This is Thor and Maura's story. This was such an amazing second-chance romance. They were so perfect for each other and definitely deserved an HEA. Both had good backstories to explain and show you how they turned into people that were both broken, lost, and guarded. Two independent people who are fierce on their own but find out that together they are invincible
Cat’s Stats MMC/FMC- Thor and Maura Genre- MC Romance Length- novelette Heat- closed door, fade to black. Series? Y. Should not be read as a standalone. Safety? Y Triggers- discussion of secondary characters’ infidelity. Tropes- midlife love, instalove. What I thought- I enjoyed this story, but it was a little bit bland. I don’t think it was served well by the fade-to-black love scene. It made it seem like there is something not as hot about sex after 50.
Thor and Maura's later in life story is absolutely beautiful. It's never too late to find the love of your life and these two prove that magnificently. This author gives a beautiful escape into the second chance of Thor and Maura when neither of them thought a second chance was in the cards for them. Well done Ms. Dups!
