For Every Ten Pages You Read, Someone Will Die. That was the curse written within the demon's book. Originally the book started off in hardback format only. There were three different books in For Every Ten Pages You Read, Someone Will Die, This Book Owns You and The Last Book You Will Ever Read. These books would randomly show up in people's lives. With no title on the cover and no author name, those who received the books were curious to know what they were about and so set to reading. Unfortunately, in doing so, they were not only cursing themselves but ones they loved too.
When it was powerful enough, the demon's curse moved to Kindle. For Every Ten Pages You Read, Someone Will Die started appearing on people's reading devices whether they'd looked to order it or not. They could not quit the book, they could not delete the title. All they could do was read and, in doing so, curse themselves. The words within different to the words written in the physical books.
And then there is Cursed Book! Do Not Read! I will be honest with you now and say this book is not cursed. The title was written because I know curiosity will get the better of you and you will not resist taking a peak within. In doing so, you have not cursed yourself. Instead, you have potentially saved yourself as I believe I have found a way to beat the demon's cursed books, if you're unlucky enough to stumble upon them. Read this book, take my advice.
MATT SHAW was born, quite by accident (his mother tripped, he shot out) September 30th 1980 in Winchester hospital where he was immediately placed on the baby ward and EBay. Some twelve years later (wandering the corridors of the hospital and playing with road kill when he was on day release), the listing closed and he remained unsold, he was booted out of the hospital to start his life as a writer and hobbit – beginning with writing screenplays and short stories for his own amusement before finally getting published when he was twenty-seven years and forty-five seconds old.
Once Published weekly in a lad's magazine with his photography work, Matt Shaw is also a published author and cartoonist. Has to be said, can be a bit of a flirt and definitely, without a shadow of a doubt, somewhat of a klutz.
Favourite books "Roald Dahl's Collection of Short Stories" Tim Burton's Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy Anything, really, written by himself. Because he is that good.
Very creepy and had to keep reminding myself it was just a story.... Wasn't it?!!!
Thanks, Matt Shaw, for writing such an original and great book! I would term this psychological horror because it is as creepy as all help and it gets under one's skin... Especially if that person, like me, has got a good imagination!!!
Once again, the cursed Book has resurfaced...and this time, Kindle users aren't safe either.
This isn't the best thing I have ever read and after the first book, it does feel a bit formulaic. However, I was entertained and that is what I was looking for! Give it a read!
This whole book basically was of the main character explaining about this so called evil book with nothing happening. Found myself reading pages and not taking in anything. Very boring pointless book.
Not as good as the previous book, which is gave 5 stars.
I found this one a bit rambly and repetitive for the first two thirds. Maybe i just wasn't paying enough attention, but that's how it felt. I did enjoy the final third though, a great deal. I liked the ending.
I preferred the first book. There was more tension and fear to be felt. This one was interesting and worth a read if you have read the first one though.
