The latest from Pepper Bay, it's a lovely series set on Isle of Wight and features the people who live there. Each book is about a couple who start off as friends, with one or both of them live in Pepper Bay, and the book takes the reader through their developing relationship.

This book is about Zach, who grew up in Pepper Bay, his family running the boat hire business on Pepper River. After his Mum died, Zach was left to bring up his brother Cody (the previous book is about him); he moved to London to earn enough money to come back and run the revamped boat hire business. As a hotel manager in London, he came across a gust called Olive Farringdon, and this book is about their relationship.

I really enjoy these books. They aren't too long and are happy ever after books, with no cliff hangers. Each book is a standalone story, but the books are best read in order of publication to preserve continuity of the characters and wider storyline.

I'm looking forward to the next book being released.

A welcome return to Pepper Bay and Zack is ready to leave London and get his business the Boat Hut up and running. Olive is having a hard time of it through no fault of her own and she’s suffering and rapidly running out of money and friends. Zack offers to take Olive to Pepper Bay, she has nowhere else to go so agrees. Pepper Bay and the friendly community work their magic on Olive but things go wrong and she leaves, is it forever? Lovely, friendly characters in a beautiful setting with a dash of romance.

A lovely return to Pepper Bay, poor Olive realised that when your money runs out friends are quick to leave. She does have a friend in Zack and it was lovely to see her adapt to a new life. I can’t wait for the next book in this series.

What a whirlwind of a story that was! And that major twist…I didn’t see that coming at all!
I loved Zach and Olive’s story.
The other characters adding to their own stories was lovely too.
