Following on, the aftermath sequel to nudey beach. The instant greet of joyful humour with the twist of dark emotions before the second chapter. It wasn’t long before Suzie came back and made an appearance in Ambers writing and the moments throughout made me belly laugh.

The chapters of the court trial instantly took me back to the first book remembering the characters but in a different light. I love the authors style of writing and the flow, the honesty and the reality of what life is like for an author. Every moment just felt completely relatable.

If you love a bit of steam, but not full on then this is definitely for you. Especially if you love holidays abroad. The author takes you to Cyprus where Amber has alot of fun. The villa descriptions are something else which made me feel so many holiday blues. The sexy pirate was one of my favourite chapters. My heart burst at a discovery (no spoilers).

I laughed so much, felt like crying the same amount and visualised being in Amber’s situation. I would love to meet such incredible people/characters on a 90 day holiday. There’s so many hidden messages, freedom, what it’s like to be a victim and learning to love yourself and let yourself be loved. It was a lovely opportunity to be able to read the next chapter of Amber. I absolutely adored this book and I know I’ll definitely be going to Cyprus again.

Amber Stone is the eagerly awaited aftermath sequel to Nudey Beach. After reading Nudey Beach, I was left wanting to know how Amber would recover or even if she could recover from the catastrophic event at the end of the first book. Thankfully, the author has given us readers what we wanted, and Amber Stone has been brought back to life!

Angie Annetts brings Amber to life so colourfully. She is a woman who makes we laugh and also makes me cry. She has decided to go to Cyprus to attempt to recover and regroup after everything she went through. She seems to have matured in some ways, but Amber will be Amber. I say she is a disaster area all on her own!

This book is still as addictive a read as Nudey Beach, but, its a little less cheeky with the antics Amber gets up to (usually sexual to be fair) and explores more of her emotional state. It ticked the right boxes for me. I found I was feeling how Amber was. Angie is excellent at keeping me gripped and invested in her characters.

I will say, dont even attempt to read this without Nudey Beach first. Not only will you miss an excellent story, but you will not be able to grasp most of what happened to Amber before Cyprus. If you appreciate a book that can make you laugh out loud and almost bring you to tears as well, this is a series for you!

Having read and enjoyed Nudey Beach I was waiting with eager anticipation to find out the plight of Amber. Expecting a continuation of the light hearted humorous antics, I was pleasantly surprised as this sequel delivers so much more. Yes the humorous script is still there however it is interlaced with some quite serious exposure to the dark side of the aftermath that followed the ending events of the first novel.
Amber comes life in this sequel and becomes a much more rounded three dimensional character that you become truly invested in emotionally. I joined her living all the highs and lows as the story developed.
I really enjoyed the author’s constructs of the supporting characters in Cyprus and recognised all their flaws and you can imagine people watching from that bar stool.
The raunchy bits were well written and not gratuitous. All in all I think I enjoyed this sequel more than the original. Since the author’s work clearly improves with each novel, I am again eagerly awaiting her next tome.
Highly recommended!

Having read the first of this duo when it came out thanks to being accepted on to the book tour. The shock that the last chapter hit with was immense and I have though about it often since.

I was contacted by the author to see if I would like to read this installment and it was an immediate yes! Not only because I enjoyed the first so much but also, I needed to find out what happened to Amber next. Where did she go..? What did she do..? I got my answers.

There was definitely no disappointment in this. There were clear and obvious changes in Amber's character which was comparable to the trauma experienced previously. We also had more insight into characters we had met in book one which was nice.

The first book had a lot more risqué scenes where this was more personal, emotional and in depth into amber herself. I enjoy both aspects but I loved feeling like we were getting to know Amber better.

This book was sent to me by the author and I am reviewing it voluntarily

After Nudey Beach's dramatic ending left us asking: What happened next? Amber Stone, The Aftermath, answers all your questions and curiosities.
We meet Amber in sunny Cyprus, where she has taken refuge after a crippling court case has left her a little out of sorts.
I especially loved the authors' beautiful descriptions of the island and its unique occupants, making this a great pool side read, or a great rainy day read, leaving the reader to imagine sunny days and long cocktails.
As ever, this book is full of laughs. The author possesses a unique voice with laugh out loud descriptions and observations on its characters and the world in general.
However, it's not all giggles. This book explores a serious undertone of violence against women, which I felt was handled with great care and consideration.
This book has been packaged as your perfect summer holiday. Big belly laughs, sex, raw emotion, plenty of sunshine, and a healthy sprinkling of romance.
Great read.

A fun read overall, but a bit patchy.
I felt the ending is stretched a bit too long after it becomes obvious, but hey that's me, you might love the tantalising tail your type of tale end.

I really enjoyed Nudey Beach so was looking forward to reading this and I was not disappointed - so much so, I enjoyed this even more!

Whilst there was some of the spicy scenes we had from book 1, this book had a lot more emotion and story to it and I felt that I was able to connect with Amber so much more.

I loved the Cyprus setting, the sunshine and the sightseeing and ultimately that Amber was able to find herself again.

Whilst you probably could read this as a stand-alone, I definitely recommend reading the full series as not only does it bring Erotic Fiction, there is a lot of emotion and humour.

One of my favourite things about Angie's writing is that her own personality really comes through in the words on the page and her books are just fun. Are they a written masterpiece? No. But are they easy to get into and just raw and entertaining? Yes. I don't want to read the same old language in books, I want something with a bit of grit every so often, and both Nudey Beach and Amber Stone delivered.

I rated the first book 5⭐️ but gave this one 3⭐️ because I didn't enjoy the story quite as much. There wasn't as much smut and Amber's cheeky little sparkle was missing, but that's completely understandable after what she's been through. I found this one a lot more emotional. However, I am now gagging to go back to Cyprus so thanks for that 🙃

Susie's story definitely seemed to be emanated in real life and I'm looking forward to seeing what Angie gives us next.
