Angus Darrow just wants to finish renovating his Exmouth flat. Charlotte Lockwood just wants something — anything — to distract her from the endless smell of paint.
When the local museum reports missing artefacts, Charlotte takes the case. But what seems like a simple undercover job soon turns into something far more sinister.
Meanwhile, Angus can’t shake the feeling that something isn’t quite right with his neighbour...
As Charlotte and Angus race to uncover the truth, it’s not just missing artefacts they need to worry about… it’s staying one step ahead of danger.
This is a brilliant book to read. Well researched about the area it’s set. No gore just two people who have very different ways of finding the wrong doer.
A really enjoyable read. Charlie is such a wonderful character with her"I can therefore I will" attitude fits so well with Angus's "you can't do that... I can't believe you just did it" outlook and tolerance. What chance do the bad guys have? The humour keeps coming in an excellent flowing storyline. Love it !!
This was book 7 of 8 In this book Charlotte sort of went undercover cover as she went as a volunteer at a museum as they were engaged to find out about missing artifacts Angus was working on a flat while Charlotte did this As she was bored watching Angus doing the DIY It wasn't quite as straightforward as they first thought
