“Prince: Love Always Wins” is a book that had me in a chokehold. I didn’t know what to expect after the success of Priest, but Prince is HIM! The book is a testament that true love will heal broken hearts. It also showed how being loved the right way will have the toughest woman willing to enter her “soft girl era”. The passion between Prince and Lesha is felt on every page and I found myself highlighting so many swoon worthy sayings. Prince is dominant in every aspect of his life, but the reason behind his behavior tugged on my heartstrings. For Prince to be honest about his shortcomings and battle with addiction was admirable and showed accountability. Lesha is guarded and doesn’t feel worthy of a health relationship, which is understandable considering her past. However, the best thing Lesha did was allowing Prince a fair shot at winning her heart. I also loved the updates on Priest and Satisa and the sisterhood between Lesha and Nesha. Overall, the development of their relationship was beautiful. It wasn’t easy, but I always expect for Bre Shadae to keep me on my toes. There was a good balance of romance, spice, drama, and the character development were chef’s kiss. If the book bae is not speaking words of affirmations, making sure the FMC wins - when he wins, and folding her in every direction but straight, ion want him! I thoroughly enjoyed this book! Oh, and please see what type of “hidden treasures” Prince was building with his hands… whew!

Prince is that guy! These men love know how to love their women and I love that! Prince has his eyes set on Lesha but after a troubled past, he know he needs to come correct or not come at all. Lesha has had a string of toxic relationships and as much as she knows she can’t start something new, she’s drawn to Prince. The drama, the passion and more drama!

Even after reading the previous books in the series, I kept feeling like I was missing something. I was often a little confused and felt that it was a little more difficult to connect with these characters.

Meh

Story line is not authentic, FMC is the typical poor struggling black female with baggage finding the perfect, tall, dark , handsome, rich, talented, well endowed black man to rescue her😐!

Book 1(Priest) was a great read, book 3 (Prince) is meh, as it's just too unrealistic! After reading Priest, I had high hopes but this book left me feeling annoyed😣!

Sometimes all a girl wants is her inner child to heal.

This book was exceptionally written and well-thought out. You can tell the author didn’t rush through due to the success of her previous book “Priest” .
Prince exemplifies what love looks like , what black love can be and how soft it is for a woman. To love someone at their lowest and be there through their highest is a beautiful gift.
Prince is a man that moved mountains for his woman no matter the pushback and hostility she gave him. He broke them walls piece by piece while healing his own wounds.
It’s not often, I’ve read a black romance without the cliche drama and stereotypes. Therefore, this was a feel good book for me!

Every woman deserves to be loved, seen, and heard just like Le.

Prince😍

For anyone that read Priest story and loved him you will love this. Prince was absolutely bae. He played no games and after everything he went through he had no time for miscommunication or wasted time. The way he handled Lesha! My goodness! Now Lesha was so scared and the battle to let Prince love her was an uphill one that I’m so glad she surrendered to. The one negative thing I can say is I found the conflict in this book a little anticlimactic but the romance and its development was chefs kiss.

This was an okay read, but the storyline felt disjointed, as if I missed another book in the series. At times, it seemed like I was reading a story that had already begun, which was a bit frustrating.

The love story was decent, but the subplot about escaping the abusive ex felt rushed. I understand not wanting to write a graphic scene, but simply stating "it's done" was pretty anticlimactic, especially after all the buildup.

Lesha's character also frustrated me. While I get that she and Devin shared a trauma bond, her reactions seemed unrealistic. She mentioned she saw him few and far between, yet she acted heartbroken over someone who could so easily MARRY another woman. I needed more depth to that relationship to believe it. It was refreshing when she finally woke up to the reality of her situation, but the excessive tears over someone who clearly wasn’t invested felt excessive. Especially cus she was making Prince pay for her stupidity a majority of the book.

Prince, on the other hand, was a well-developed character who knew what he wanted and was willing to work for it. I’m glad he and Lesha found their happy ending, as they were both lovable characters.

I also found the inclusion of Nesha and Chaz distracting. Nesha felt more like filler than a fully realized character, and I would have preferred to see her developed on her own. It was hard to believe Chaz was the "baby" of the group when neither Priest nor Prince seemed to hold him accountable. If he's truly your friend or little brother, it’s important to call him out rather than just mind your business.

It took the entire book for Prince to finally clarify that chaz didn't love Nesha, which felt drawn out. Overall, while there were some strong points, I believe more cohesive storytelling and character development could enhance the reading experience.

Prince - Bre Shadae

Prince Richards. This man was something else. When you think it couldnt get any better after Priest, in walks a reformed older brother. This story was one that I had been waiting on for a long time. I just knew that the story would be good because of how good Priest was, but I had no idea Prince was all of this. The dominance and control that he demands, the calm demeanor he has unless you cross him or someone he loves- I was here for all of it. Prince was a mastermind with his hands. The hidden treasures that would build was something to be desired. IYKYK.

This is what I loved:

Brotherhood- The way that Prince and Priest are literally a walking mantra of "I am my brothers keeper". The way that Priest knew his brother and knew how to get him to stay logical had me smiling so hard. I love that these two had a bond like no other (and even that crazy Chaz too) and have the same view on family. They are 10 toes down all the way for the ones that they love and dont mind getting dirty either.

Words of Affirmation- The way that Prince spoke in to Lesha. The way that he loved her without touching her. The way that he encouraged her and spoke to the broken pieces in her. Prince was on a whole new level and passed being a Good Man Savannah but he is the epitome of a strong purposeful man.

Sisterhood-I love the friend group of Satisa, Lesha, and Nesha. I loved how Satisa was able to speak and encourage the twins lives. They have been there for one another through many situations and they still remained true to on another.

One thing that I wanted more of was when the plot was to twist regarding Hamp, it felt rushed and unfinished. I am not sure if that is meant to be a set up for something to come or what. but it does not change the way that I feel about this book. I was looking forward to this book for a long time and I was happy to have gone on this journey. I recommend this book as the love was loving all through out this story.

The amount of spice with the book!!!! It’s always one sibling that has some stuff tucked away. Prince and Lesha were a book of learning and unlearning. While both have past that hurt them and have them hiding and trying to discover all at the same time. I didn’t think I would like this story as much but I think I loved Prince more than his bother. For the fact that the man never allowed his set back to over take him and he really did have a reason for his downward spiral and his come back was big and with a vengeance. The way Prince showed his love and understanding. With the way he was hurt he gave as much as he could until Lesha gave in and gave him and chance then it was nothing for him to give his all. Lesha’s past has her running and hiding for love and people. Her and her sister have a secret and it’s eating away at this while trying to keep them from living life. The attachment is shown and you see the twins in a different light. Prince and Lesha complement each other in the best way. When you see that logo and walk into the room baby be really to revel a different side.🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

Chaz got on my nerves and so does Nesha with the back and forth they are so toxic and entertaining at the same time. We see Priest and Satisa and how their lives have changed and continue to change. Everyone is there for one another and the bond is so much stronger. The little sister doesn’t really come up in this book but was see her here and there as well. I have loved this series and hope we get a book for the sister so I can see some more from this family!!

This book was absolute freaking everything and I loved it from beginning to end. Prince was the epitome of what every book husband should consist of and I loved that for Lesha. Every word spoken from Prince mouth landed deep in my core because it felt so pure and honest. The communication was chef’s kiss. The way he loved Lesha was phenomenal. I loved the growth in both characters that was such a joy to see. I did not want his book to end and I cried at the end because it was over. I definitely hope that my girl Nesha gets her HEA, we cant leave her hanging with all that hurt and trauma. Loved Prince and Nesha down and Priest and Satisa I can’t wait to get more of them.

These books are unnecessarily long for no reason. The ending felt like she got tired of writing, good because I was tired of reading. Both books could've been one 150 page book. and i didn't like how everyone was giving Nesha a pass to keep doing bs but at the same time yelling at Chaz. Then how they were posting their locations on social media but the ppl who were supposedly after them never came. we actually never really got a conclusion to the ending of that. and the repeat dialogue "trust me blah blah blah" "no I've been hurt before blah blah" over and over again every couple of pages. and Nesha is jealous of her sister

Prince and Lesha

Prince and Lesha’s story is a heartfelt journey of healing, trust, and learning to communicate in love. I was immediately drawn into their connection and the emotional layers that made their growth feel so real.

This was my first read by this author — and I’m honestly a little mad at myself for not discovering her sooner! I’ve already hit that follow button and can’t wait to read more of her work. I realized later that I should have started with Priest’s story, but even reading this out of order, everything flowed smoothly and made perfect sense.

Spice Level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ — Passionate, emotional, and perfectly balanced with the heart of the story.

Prince

The one thing I love about Prince is that he was intentional in his persuit of Lesha. He didn’t play games or waste her time. Lesha had so many struggles in life, which led to insecurities within herself and life in general. Prince replaced each insecurity with love and happiness one at a time. When he prayed over her I knew it was love.

I hate Chaz was young and immature. He lost a good one. I hope Mesha can get the healing she needs to be the best version of herself.

This was a really good book, it speaks on healing, love, and family. Great job Bre!

IDK what to say!

K- this was DEFINITELY a good book. IMO Prince was overwhelming- but so was Priest! I kept yelling while reading - Lesha! Just tell him! And Prince- please just let her know you know! Why all the secrets! Anyways- I am so happy they pulled it together! I would be interested in a novella on what happens after the nuptials! Babies? Business? Nesha and Chaz?! It’s a lot left to figure out. I don’t thin Hamp and the son are gone for real… but I’m also a book conspiracy theorist! 😂😂 anyways- a great read!

Bre has done it again😍🥹

The way she wrote this story😍 Prince is a good man Savannah. From second guessing to the affirmation to uplift and break down Lesha’s wall. To Lesha being mistreated in past relationship and now she and Prince are together and they uplift one another, supports each others goals and careers, to care for each other, and for Prince to be a calm man when she went 0-100real quick. Prince with some don traits 😱😍. GO READ THE BOOK NOW!!!!!!!!!!

Love always win

Listen when I say Prince is the man I truly mean this. Prince was patience. Prince was a provider, protector, lover, and an etc. He is the real definition of a man do you hear me. If I had to choose between him and Priest it would be Prince. I love how he didn’t argue. Whatever problem Lesha had he fixed it. Listen just read the book pleassssse you won’t be disappointed

This book definitely pulled at my heart strings more than the first book. Prince and Lesha did not like each other in the first book but in this book they both learn to love each other and realized they deserved the love the other was trying to give. I really hate everything that happened to Lesha and her twin when they were younger bc it definitely could have been prevented. Same with Prince, it was like his and priest’s dad just did not want them to make it in life if it wasn’t something in the streets. The spicee as people call it, surprised me like babyyyyyyyy it was nothing like the first book! Anywayyyy I highly recommend reading this love story ✨🥰

💦💦💦🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶😈😈😈😈🥵🥵🥵🥵

Everybody needs a Prince in their lives! I loved Priest's and Satisa's book. But Prince and Le's book?! Was hands down THE best!! The patience he had with her!? And the way he poured into her and she poured back...And the way he TALKED THAT TALK!! 😈😈My God today!! Now, the vagueness about how Hamp and his son were dealt with had me wondering if the dad might've secretly handled it for them... seemed like he just disappeared. Gone and get it!

3.5 ⭐️’s. This book was nothing like the first two. I had more time to really listen, and I’m not sure how I feel, but I did finish it. It wasn’t bad , I just knew I wouldn’t like it as much as the other two, especially knowing how deeply Prince felt for Lesha. I think what threw me off was how much she kept to herself. She didn’t tell him anything in the beginning, and even after he found out, she still had this wall up. Overall, it was a solid read to close out the series.

Love Always Wins

Priest and Alesha….what a wonderful love story. The building of trust and self worth. The lessons of love languages. Well written story and extraordinary addition to the completion of the brothers story…Prince & Priest.
I wonder if Chaz and Pria will get to tell their stories. Just a thought🤔

No spoilers: I love a good cliffhanger, but I love how Bre ends a story. If we want more, it isn't because she forgot to tell us something because she starts and ends a story with all the feels and complete closure. I love how Prince is a personality of his own I would have love to see him get active but also love how in control he is. I can't wait to see Chaz in his book *wink

My Prince!

Whew! I didn’t think I would care for Prince but he stood on business! And the best thing is a man with discipline and sexual discipline will always be sexy and prosper! I love how Lesha shed her hard exterior even though some times I was yelling “ tell him!!” This was my first series from this author and I can’t wait to get into her catalogue

Overall it was a really good book. Lesha and Nesha couldn’t get out of their own way most of the time. Prince had the patience of a saint. He really stood on big business when it came to Lesha. I really hate that she let Devon drag her through the mud the way that he did. I’m glad she ended up seeing him for the joke that he was overall it was a really good book.

Good book!!!

I do think the sex topics were a much at times but overall, I liked this book! I honestly think I liked this book more than Priest. This book speaks volumes on healing and true love. Not only that, I absolutely loved how the Prince character said quotes that can be applied to your daily life.

This was a solid read! I enjoyed learning more about Prince since his brother’s book touched on his story a little bit. Some parts were dragged out, so I think the book could’ve been shorter. It also felt like it took a while before we understood Alesha’s past — we could’ve got the back story a bit sooner. Overall I liked it and it confirms the Richards men are amazing!
