He’s her saint . . . now she’ll be his sinner.

Saint

Briar is more than my muse—she’s my soulmate.

She just doesn’t know it yet.

After a writing retreat in seclusion with me, she’ll never want to leave. And if she does? Perhaps I simply won’t let her.

After all, what’s a saint without his sinner?

Briar

My masked stalker is forcing me to stay with him in his Gothic manor. He claims we’re here for a writing retreat, but I know the real reason he brought me here.

I’m his muse, and he’s going to lock me up forever.

But I can’t leave my life behind. I won’t. No matter how much he makes me want to stay.

STOP this was literally so bad and the only reason I didn’t DNF was bc I already read the first and had to know what happened. Briar felt like a whole different person in this book and I got whiplash. Honestly she annoyed me and I think Saint deserves better. I mean she literally believed another guy over SAINT when there was a little bit of evidence going against him. Why would you believe someone you hardly know over the man who has literally only been honest to you and does everything in your name?? That just made me so mad. Also I feel absolutely robbed that Mack doesn’t have a book?? Her story actually seemed interesting. I’m highly disappointed in this book and can’t believe it is so highly liked. Literally Briar denied her feelings to Saint the absolute whole time and I feel like it was a back and forth game the whole time.

So how do I move on knowing the chances of a man proposing to me through his book dedication is slim to none??? A book he would write just for me?!?!?! I will cry.

My only thing is that this didn't have to be a duet. She could have put it in one book... just saying. Now I'm not complaining but this one was mostly smut so back to me saying this should have just been one book but anyways I had the time of my life. Obviously.

Is it actually 5 stars?? Probably not...but I had the best time reading this. The first plot twist was lowkey crazy —the one about her father. I didn't see that coming I have to admit. The Trevor one was very obvious.

The spice...good lord. It's why I'm even giving this book 5 stars. I was fanning myself. It was SPICCYYYYY. And the gun scene...I thought I was mistaken when I read the gun scene in Haunting Adeline but no this confirms that the kink is real. And uhm the bathtub and the chandelier one. Good lord. I was PANTING. I love it.

This was a good wrap-up for Her Saint. I was SHOCKED by the twist that happened, though I did guess it in the first book. The ending half seemed rushed, so I reduced the star rating. Overall, it's a decent read.

I won't lie, I found this to be a bit underwhelming as compared to the first book. There was a lot of unnecessary drama that honestly, I could have done without. But I'll start with what I liked first.

I now understand why she wrote a duet👏🏾😍. This was splendid daresay better than the first book🤭✨.

The smex scenes in this some of them were jaw dropping......like there's one where she's hanging on a chandelier 😲🤯. That scene made me gasp and wonder how that was possible.🤣

The way this man proposed to her was brilliant 😭♥️. I also want an author for a boyfriend so that each of his dedications are about me and how obsessed he is 🤭🥲.

The simp, lover boy award goes to Saint De Haas 👏🏾🫦✨.

I loved this duet and Briar and Saint will forever be etched in my memory 🙂🎀✨.

Alright, let's dive into His Sinner…
Remember how I mentioned the uncanny similarities to "Haunting Adeline" in the first book? Well, hold onto your hats, because Part 2 takes it to a whole new level. It's like the author threw subtlety out the window and decided, "Hey, let's just copy-paste scenes from a bestseller and hope no one will notice it.”
I mean, come on, the gun scene? Really? And now, not only does our protagonist have one stalker, but she's got a brand new one to contend with. Talk about beating a dead horse.
I'll be honest, folks, I was this close to calling it quits on this book. I soldiered through, doing my best to skim-read some parts, but let me tell you, by the end, I was kicking myself for not throwing in the towel sooner.
And don't even get me started on that whole subplot with her father. Completely unnecessary and about as useful as a screen door on a submarine.
But wait, it gets better. Or should I say, worse? Suddenly, everything starts connecting. Every single character, every story, it's like a web of clichés and recycled plotlines.
It was like the author didn’t give a damn through the duology about being unique and just copied/ whitewashed a bestseller, but than all the sudden got her creative juice flow and tried to ram every possible connection and twist to the ending. Well, it didn’t worked for me.

In the end, this duology falls flat for me. It's like the author gave up on being original and just decided to ride the coattails of a bestseller. Sorry, folks, but this one's a swing and a miss for me.

The twists and turns in this book along with the spice is so good. She had 2 stalkers at once (can’t include the mmc since after that many spicy scenes you can’t call him a stalker anymore). I did suspect the one but to think that he was who her friend was running from surprised me along with the background of her dad missing an ear. Oh and the spicy bonus scene in the omnibus is total worth it 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️. I completely devoured this book.

And finished, it took me a min to finish the book w because honest Briar was annoying me. She has this amazing guy who does anything for her. ANYTHING, and she keeps pushing him away or not trusting him when all he has ever done is tell her the truth he has never lied to her. Anything. So it made me mad.

Book 2 picks up with them going on a writers retreat to get his Muse back and write his next book, and Briar can write or read his new stuff. But there are some bumps in the road. Briar has another stalker. Text messages, chasing in the house, and other things that were not nice have Saint going into 🤬 mood. No one scares or stalks his.

This is another reason why I disliked Briar someone sends her a video of Masked Saint fucking someone. She thinks he cheated. Mind you this man has never cheated, lied anything to hurt her, Saint knows how cheating effected her family. What does she do believe the video when it didn't show his face, voice, nothing to link him.

And that's what caused the "break up" but he was always there no matter what she did and enters who our 2nd stalker is I kinda figured that out pretty fast. And what that stalker connection is to.

Honest this was a good book book 1 was 10x more better for me then book 2.

No ow drama/Om drama, no cheating, slight secondary character, drama, sexy times, no virgins

I am truly amazed after completing the 𝑺𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑺𝒊𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒓 duet by Harmony West. It has been an absolute honor and delight to witness your journey as a writer. You are incredibly talented, and it's evident that you have a bright future in your writing career! As a fan, I am proud of your accomplishments and this duet represents some of your best work thus far, and that is high praise considering I have enjoyed all of your previous writing, but this duet is officially my favorite!

“𝑯𝒊𝒔 𝑺𝒊𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒓” is the final installment in the 𝑺𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑺𝒊𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒓 duology, offering a dark stalker romance with all the best tropes with clever plot twists.
I also enjoyed the note in the beginning from 𝘚.𝘛. 𝘕𝘪𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘴𝘰𝘯 himself.

While I have read numerous dark romances exploring similar themes of a stalker + masked man, only a select few have made it into my top five favorites, including this duet receiving a 5-𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧 rating from me.

If you haven't experienced Harmony West's writing yet, I highly recommend it! Don't miss reading "𝑯𝒆𝒓 𝑺𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒕" before its sequel "𝑯𝒊𝒔 𝑺𝒊𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒓" debuts on 𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘤𝘩 29𝘵𝘩!

P.S. I’m crossing my fingers 🤞🏼 for 𝘔𝘢𝘤𝘬 & 𝘡𝘢𝘺𝘥𝘦𝘯'𝘴 story!

What an ending!!! Sadly, once again - the sex derailed what could have been a 5-star book.

"I don’t care if I need to convince you every day for the rest of our lives that I love you. I will do so with my dying breath."

Briar and Saint head off to his mountain manor for some writing and a little R&R. Even though Briar is starting to fall for Saint, she always has one foot out the door, ready to bolt, because aside from the killing, he seems too good to be true! Sadly, every one of Briar's many stalkers make her doubt her love for Saint. Poor girl doesn't know who to trust. Things hit the fan and all the secrets come out and we end with some mega revelations and eventually an HEA for everyone! Ok, mostly everyone.

She is more important than any of my wants or needs. I would gladly stop breathing if she needed my oxygen.

SEX: All the sex they didn't have in the last book is in this book. That said - it wasn't the "make your panties melt" kind of sex. There's too much witty banter going on. Nothing emotional and no burning lust. Just sex. I can honestly say I wasn't turned on even once. To be honest, I think that's the only thing HW needs to improve on.

BRIAR: Girlfriend, I get that you don't believe love exists but COME ON. What else does this man have to do to prove he loves you!?! I think I cut her a little more slack than I would most FMCs because I can literally see myself in her. I have the exact same thought process when it comes to men.

3RD ACT: There were only so many ways this ending could go, and even though the 3rd act is one that a lot of readers complain about, I thought it was probably the best one for this book. I weighed the options, and I thought the other ending didn't lend itself to as much angst as this one did.

MYSTERY: I figured out most of the things, but there was actually one surprise in the middle of this one that I did NOT see coming.

I debated on if I should give this 3 or 4 stars. I decided to stick with 4. Even though there were a few things I was annoyed with, I still really loved the story. This won't be my last Harmony West book.

Not bad but not great

I felt a lot of deja vu reading this book. It wasn't a bad story but lacked depth for me and therefore the feelings only felt surface level and a bit unbelievable even in a work of fiction. I'm sure for some this book is right up their ally but for me it just didn't hit right.

I mean I pretty much knew and had a feeling it was Trevor- I just don’t like when heroine have two stalkers. Stalker who’s the hero and then another stalker who’s the villain. We just need only one stalker not a combo meal, you know.

I really enjoyed this duology. I liked both Saint and Brair, and I think they matched each other pretty well. I definitely was not expecting the helpful good friend Trevor to be Mack's ex-boyfriend she was hiding from. I knew something was up with Trevor but never would have thought he was "James." It allowed Mack to get her revenge and allowed her character to grow with Saint and Briar's character. In the end, the villain was defeated, and Saint and Brair got married.

●His Sinner by Harmony West●

I enjoyed this second half of the duet so much more than the first. It continues pretty much where the first book left off, with Briar and Saint together at Nicholson Manor, the gothic and isolated manor up on the mountains. I adored this setting, mostly because of the atmosphere but also because there were some really good spicy scenes there, they're deparaved and dark but so, so good!

I'd say the storyline was so much more advanced in this book too, it takes some shocking turns and has a lot of surprising revelations. I did guess some of the plot twists, but some literally had me jaw dropped. There was a third act breakup, but the evidence and reason wasn't entirely unreasonable, especially from Briar's point of view. It was irritating since her and Saint's relationship finally started to feel set in stone, but thankfully things got resolved quickly.

Speaking of, the last quarter of this book had me on the edge of my seat, I was clutching my pearls as the revelations and intensity fired up. I had no idea what would happen next, and I really loved the way things went and the resolutions we got. All I can say without spoiling is that Mack is a badass (who still deserves her own book) and Briar and Saint are the darkest, cutest bookish couple.

The epilogue was sweet, I'm glad everything got wrapped up neatly and things ended happily. This has been a short and bittersweet duet that I'd definitely recommend to fans of Haunting Adeline or Gothikana.

4/5 🌟

Let’s just say my black heart grew three sizes with the conclusion to a perfect duet!
🖤🖤🖤
This picks up exactly where book one left me hanging on for dear life after I fell in love with Saint & Briar (*please be sure to read Her Saint before His Sinner and check triggers).

The spice started immediately (no slow burn here)…and just keeps coming. *hints the library scene.

"Shh." A mask distorts the hush, curdles the sound of air through teeth into something far more sinister. "Quiet. This is a library." 🤫😏

I always love a book with spot on banter….

"Have I ever told you how sexy you are?"
"Your eyes tell me every time you see me."
"My eyes need to shut the fuck up." I chuckle.
"They're very chatty. They cannot keep a secret." 🤐

…and there were multiple plot twists that peeked my interest (I did figure out one but the other never crossed my mind).

“Even when death comes for me, I'm crawling from my grave to find you in the afterlife." She can't help the smile that tugs at her lips. "I've always wanted a man who would crawl to me."

If you are looking for a dark romance where her masked stalker kills for her, loves only her, and buys her her entire TBR, this is for you. Harmony did a great job at tying so many things together throughout. I loved seeing little details make a huge impact in the end. Very fast-paced with good spice added in. *Check TWs*

I picked up the Saint and Sinner Duet hoping for something dark, unhinged, and perfect for spooky season, and it did deliver that. Still, as much as I enjoyed the twisted obsession and eerie atmosphere, the story didn’t completely hook me. Overall, an okay read.

A lot more smut in this one than the first, our MC is wearing her down towards falling in love with him until it’s thwarted by her other stalker. TBH this actually let the book down a little for me as it was so predictable 🤷🏻‍♀️ Still I just had to finish it lol
