This book delivers on all the tropes I adore, with a satisfying insta-love and a hero who is fiercely protective. I was hooked from the first page. The mail-order romance setup was unique, and the author created a beautiful, heartwarming story. New favorite author unlocked! 🔐
The connection between the characters was instant and intense, and I felt every emotion right along with them. The protective hero trope was executed flawlessly, and the chemistry between Chevy and Heather was off the charts! I was surprised by how much I loved this book given its length, but it proves that a great story doesn't need hundreds of pages. It was a perfect escape, and I couldn't put it down! I think I'm gonna enjoy the whole series. 😍

Book 1 in the Mail Order Mountain Men series
This very short story (or at least it felt super short) is about Chevy and Heather. Chevy and Heather are sort of set up to (Heather set up by her friend and roommate) a blind date (literally blind)- each in different rooms get to know each other. After that Chevy and Heather have their first romantic interlude and then the next chapter is the Epilogue that takes place 1 year later.
Just a run-of-the-mill short story. If you don't have anything else to read give it a shot. Otherwise there are better short stories out there.

I loved this book. Always full if excitement and happiness. Its the getting there is what makes it such a good instalove. Chevy is retired military and decided to try this mail order bride dating thing. Hos first date with Heather is wonderful. Heather didn't want to do this but her friend singed her up. They got the match perfect for these two and I can't wait to read the rest of the series. I suggest reading all the " Rugged Mountain" series - not just this one. I really loved Heather, and Chevy's story. This dating service is kinda odd, but it sure worked for them. Her psycho ex, added the right amount of urgency, and Drama. Chevy was the perfect perfect Cowboy in rugged working clothes, to save her from that maniac! Beautiful moment when she realized that her hero was Chevy, all along. Great HEA!

Meh. I’m unsure of how I feel about this one. I really enjoyed the beginning with the dating behind screens/pods but then it just kinda fell flat for me as it went on.
