Kingdom of Death #1

This Vicious Dream

Rate this book
Once, I helped save a kingdom.
Now, I’m trapped in a prison of thorns and nightmares.

My crime? Knowing the location of a power that could reshape the world—a grimoire I swore to protect with my life.

That secret is the only thing keeping me alive while my captors wait for me to break.

Until he arrives.

Beautiful. Ruthless.

Dark, inscrutable eyes. A dangerously wicked grin.

But he’s not here to rescue me. He wants the grimoire for himself––and he’ll destroy anyone who stands in his way.

My only choice is a fragile, temporary alliance with a man I can never trust.

Because there’s more at stake than just a stolen grimoire or an ancient grudge.

And behind his mask of effortless allure, he’s hiding something far more dangerous than a thirst for power.

Something that could destroy us all.

TLDR
This book has it all: epic battles, forgotten gods, dangerous Grimoires, magical forests, prophecies, and heartbreak.

Synopsis
Trapped and hunted for the secret she swore to protect, Madinia is a former hero turned prisoner, her power shackled and her past haunting her. When Calysian—a dangerously charming stranger with secrets of his own—storms into her life, escape comes at a steep price: an uneasy alliance with a man she cannot trust. As old gods stir, ancient Grimoires resurface, and betrayal lurks around every corner, Madinia must decide whether to protect her heart or the world itself.

I was provided an e-copy of the book by the author, and an audio copy via NetGalley (thank you Dreamscape Media) in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

✅ 2 POVs
✅ “Who did this to you?”
✅ Only one bed
✅ Rivals to lovers
✅ Forced proximity
✅ Fighting and magic
✅ Pace and plot
✅ Characters
✅ Expansion of the world-building and lore
✅(🆗) Smut and complicated feelings
❗️❗️Trigger warnings: mention of past torture, imprisonment
❗️❗️This is a spinoff series. I recommend reading the Kingdom of Lies series first to better understand and appreciate this book.

A little over three years after the events of A Queen This Fierce and Deadly, Madinia and Calysian meet again. Calysian is looking for the grimmoir Madinia fled with and hid, and she now needs to get it back before the Queen of an enemy nation gets her hands on it and wreaks havoc on the lands. Calysian convinces Madinia to work with him to retrieve the grimmoire, but they are both planning to double-cross each other and get to the grimmoire first… That is, if they survive long enough to get to the grimmoire because the Queen’s soldiers and her top witch are hunting them, and their time is running out.

This is a quick and engaging read, and we are thrown into the action from the very first chapter. The world-building is kept simple in this book because it builds upon what we knew from the previous series, hence why I recommend reading the Kingdom of Lies series first. There are mentions of the history of the land, the war fought, and the magic system, but it is not that elaborated since we know all of it from the previous series. Having read the Kingdom of Lies, I appreciated that the author did not spend pages repeating what had already been explained in the previous books, but it can make it a little confusing for someone who hasn’t read the previous series.

Madinia was one of my favorite characters in Kingdom of Lies. I liked how complex and layered she was, and how she hid everything she felt under her sneer and prickly personality. I was also curious about Calysian and what could develop between them. From the moment they first met in the Kingdom of Lies series, it was clear that there was potential for more between them, and it was also obvious that their path would cross again when Madinia left at the end of the final book of the series.

Knowing Madinia’s past allowed me to appreciate her growth in this book even more. She has always been a strong and driven character. Feisty and fierce, with unrelenting loyalty, but she is now scarred by what happened to her in the past 3 years, and she is realizing that being alone is not everything she thought it would be. She is thirsty for her revenge, but she also yearns for friendship and meaningful relationships after those 3 years spent isolated and deprived of human interactions. I like that while she is changed because of the traumatic events that happened to her, she still has her inner fire, and she is still a fearsome character, but she also shows more vulnerability in this book, which will, hopefully, allow her to finally let in the people who care about her.

It was funny to see how Cal tried to bully Madinia into doing what he wanted. The poor guy had no chance, he was so out of his depth with her, and I adore how she would put him back in his place whenever he tried to order him around. Finally learning more about Calysian’s past and his identity was satisfying, because I had so many questions about him while reading the previous series!

The relationship between Madinia and Calysian is a slow-burn, but I would not call it a romance yet. They are both physically attracted to the other, and Calysian is attracted by Madinia’s fierce personality too, but while he makes no secret that he wants her, she tries her best to resist him… Until she doesn't anymore. I liked that she was wary of him and didn’t give in to him simply because he was gorgeous and she knew him from before, but the whole “this is just for one night and can’t ever happen again” happening again and again made me roll my eyes. While I enjoy some spice in the books I read, in this case, I find that the spice almost overshadowed the plot near the end. Not because there was an over-abundance of spice, but because it seemed that the last few interactions Madinia and Calysian had always revolved around, or ended up with sex... But that part is probably me being picky and not being in the mood for intense smut at the moment...

The narrators did a great job with this book. I received an e-copy from the author and an audiobook arc from NetGalley, so I jumped between both formats, but both narrators (Meg Sylvan and Tim Paige) were compelling and kept me hooked into the story.

The book ends on a twist that I didn’t see coming, and a mild cliffhanger that makes me eager to get my hands on the second book as soon as possible! If you enjoyed The Kingdom of Lies series and you were a fan of Madinia, you will love this first instalment in the Kingdom of Death series for sure!

“leaving me for dead?” he drawls. “ice cold.”

i want to preface this review with: you don’t have to read the kingdom of lies series first, however it’s recommended that you do so, as the world-building in this vicious dream isn’t elaborate or detailed. there’s an assumption that readers of this book have read prisca’s story, so there’s an understanding of the world, and its magic and history. while there’s references to pivotal characters and moments that occurred during kingdom of lies series, they aren’t so vague you can’t eventually figure out the meanings or importance, but having the context and understanding will mean having a better reading experience.

after reading the kingdom of lies series, madinia farrow was one character who stood out. i knew madinia’s journey wasn’t at its end, not with how the kingdom of lies series concluded. this vicious dream is set three years following the events of a queen this fierce and deadly. madinia farrow, a close friend and confidant to prisca, has fled with one of the coveted grimoires—a book filled with darkness and promises of exorbitant powers that, if in the hands of the wrong person, could create situations similar to what occurred in kingdom of lies. as soon as you start this vicious dream, readers are encountered with a violent and blood-filled battlefield with madinia’s enemies enclosing, searching for the elusive grimoire she possesses. the action is immediate and madinia’s fate is revealed to us without secrecy. this vicious dream is madinia’s journey of overcoming her moments of self-doubt as she navigates the aftermath of her traumatic experiences and finds her revenge.

“i may not remember much, but i remember this: i’m madinia farrow. i don’t need a hulking brute to keep me safe. and i don’t need a liar trying to fool me at every turn.”

♡ madinia farrow
i was curious and interested to see more of madinia, who was one of the fiercest characters in kingdom of lies. a fiery woman who has suffered but still remained steadfast and determined. i appreciate that underneath madinia’s aloof and reserved demeanour, we encountered someone who showed unwavering loyalties towards her friends; who would do whatever is necessary to protect them and the kingdom, even if it means sacrificing herself. she has an admirable collection of characteristics; her capacity to balance being cunning and formidable, while remaining unselfish and self-sacrificing despite the precarious situations she found herself navigating. i love that we were able to learn more about madinia and understand the vulnerable woman underneath, making her complex and multi-faceted. she’s fierce and strong, but she’s not without her moments of uncertainty as fear is something madinia navigates in this book—fear of rejection, of her friends not finding her—but she learns to overcome her feelings through the reluctant assistance of calysian.

“enjoy your woman talk with your friend. be sure to tell her just how much i satisfy you in bed.”
“i’ll be sure to tell her the only thing god-like about you is your ego.”

♡ calysian
calysian was someone introduced to us in the kingdom of lies series—a man shrouded in hidden secrets with not much to show or tell us, other than that he doesn’t remember his reasons for being on the continent, but his level of power and attraction towards madinia was undeniable! we start to learn more about this brooding, somewhat villainous character as details are uncovered during madinia’s travels, making calysian more interesting but also dangerous. despite not knowing his reasons and unable to resist the invisible tether, i appreciated that calysian was upfront and without hidden ulterior motives as he searched for one of the grimoires.

his smile widens and he steps back, allowing me to pass. “you never should have let me taste you. now i’ll stop at nothing to make you mine.”

♡ madinia farrow + calysian
the mutual disdain and distrust shared between madinia and calysian was almost tangible, and the collective feelings made this an entertaining romance featuring a combination of rivals to lovers and reluctant allies. enhanced with humorous exchanges and quick-witted banter, the tension that brewed was delicious, leaving me wanting more moments of madinia and calysian as the verbal sparring made me giggle in absolute giddiness. i loved watching these stubborn characters search for the same item, as it forced them to find assistance in each other and there’s nothing better than enforced situations, like there being one bed and one horse as they travelled together. reluctant allies and forced proximity? perfection.

a few aspects of this book make it an entertaining read, one of them being madinia’s backstory. her history is more intricate than i would’ve assumed and incredibly interesting in comparison to what i thought i knew. in addition to that, i love that this book doesn't follow a similar plot-line to the kingdom of lies series. while there’s a long-plot questline to locate an item, there’s no brewing war in the background (for now, at least. who knows what’ll happen in the next book!) or an overarching villain. i find that interconnected series fall into an accident whereby the storylines become mimics unintentionally, but stacia stark managed to ensure this newest series remained distinct. i look forward to the next book and can't wait to see how madinia and calysian’s relationship transitions and continues to blossom.

I was honestly disappointed with this book.
One thing comes to mind when I was reading: too much. There was too much happening. Too many plots, too much movement. And it felt like the book was skipping from one scene, moment, problem to another way, way too fast. I really didn’t get a chance to marinate in a scene or feeling before it changed. There was a lot of telling rather than showing, imo.

The relationship between Calysian and Madinia, while having the essentials on paper, felt bland. There was too much happening between them, that it was hard to feel that connection. I felt more chemistry from them in the Kingdom of Lies series. And the constant betrayals between them was tiresome. Relationships are built, fundamentally, on trust. So it felt like there was little progress between them. Or, if there was, it was one step forward, two back.

There is so much happening, so many plot points that that length of the book wasn’t sufficient. This should have been at least 500 pages. Maybe more.

Overall, I felt like I got whiplash. I was left a little confused, and disappointed.

I loved everything about this!
MADINIA was my favourite female character from the kingdom of lies series so I’ve been waiting for this spin off Duology and it didn’t disappoint.
I find Stacia’s writing so easy to consume and get lost in. Her world building is easy to understand, the plot is fast paced, the characters make decisions that make sense.
Theirs always tension and banter and spice!
But I especially loved this particular romance dynamic and the tropes in this book.

Loved every second I devoured it in two sittings!

The feminine rage in this book was really glorious. I loved that Madinia Farrow got her own story to be told and we get to return to this world. I enjoyed the continuing story and further lore into saving this world and how it became imperiled in the first place. Calysian was a truly complex and fascinating character and seeing how he is with Madinia is heart warming and also just fun. I loved the introduction of new characters and return of some of the ones we know and love. This world is constantly surprising me with its depth, rich lore and world building. I really enjoyed the introduction of Fox and Eamon. Whoever knew that a horse could be so endearing. I was glad we found out so much in this book but I have a feeling book two will give us even more insights. The way we left off in book 1 is just ... cant wait for book 2 now !!

Favorite Quote: This woman would slit my throat if she could. And then she would gleefully burn my body to ash. There must be something wrong with me, because that look in her eye makes me want to crush my mouth to hers.

Loved this book. Devoured it. So glad Madinia and Calysian got their own story. Even though technically you don’t need to read the Kingdom of Lies series first to read this book.. personally I recommend it. Knowing Madinia’s backstory from KOL, it really amplifed her growth in this book.

Also.. that cliffhanger.. are you trying to kill me? 😳

Thank you so much for this ARC. I enjoyed every second. I need book two ASAP!

It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either. I listened to the whole thing and while I enjoyed the story, it felt overly formulaic. Usually that isn’t a huge issue for me, but I felt like nothing truly unique happened until the last 10%. Stacia’s story telling is fine- but I wanted more character building and world building to make everything feel less flat. I don’t like that this is marketed as a new story set in the world of the Kingdom of Lies, implying one not read the previous series to understand what’s going on. While I didn’t need to read the previous series (nor have I), I believe I would appreciate the entire story and world more if I had.

Now to the audiobook portion:
Ew. The narrators are popular seasoned narrators but holy moly neither can voice the opposite gender well. This is a duet- why can’t they each voice their respective gender throughout the entire thing? In addition I found their attempts (well, not attempts because they did sound sultry) almost too much. The female narrator’s male voices were over the top. If I hadn’t received this as an ALC I would have either moved to a physical copy or just DNF’d.

So… overall it was okay. I have no idea if I’ll read the next book. If it’s like the typical romantasy formula I won’t enjoy the second book as much as the first.

Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for the ALC.

3.5 ⭐️

firstly, i started this way back when i got the ARC, but quickly decided that i wanted to read kingdom of lies first because of the references to events in the quartet. I'm definitely glad that i did pause and wait until now - even though you technically "could" read this without reading kingdom of lies, a lot of the dynamics / references would make 0 sense.

as for the book, it reads quite similarly to the kingdom of lies quartet in that it's a good time, but not necessarily a MUST read. it's a fun romantasy, and im glad that we get a series about madinia specifically because she was by far the most compelling side character in the og series. however, it definitely is a bit formulaic.

overall, fun times, and i definitely want to read book 2 with what was set up here!

**thank you to The Nerd Fam and Stacia Stark for the ARC copy**

Rating this book two stars pains me so much. The Kingdom of Lies series is one of my all-time favorites and I was so ecstatic when the author announced a spin-off for Madinia and Calysian. They had so much chemistry in their interactions in the first series that my expectations for this book were sky high and I'm devastated that I didn't love it.

I honestly felt little to no connection to Madinia or Calysian and I think this was my biggest issue. For how much time they spent together traveling alone in this book, the development of their relationship and their feelings for one another was really lacking. In the Kingdom of Lies series, one of the things I loved the most was watching Lorian and Prisca get to know each other and watch their relationship evolve from reluctant allies to lovers and I think that was the intent for the relationship between Madinia and Calysian but there wasn't enough substance in their interactions to pack the same sort of emotional punch.

I found myself getting pretty bored early on and by the halfway mark, I was considering whether I even wanted to finish. The internal monologues and disagreements started to feel repetitive, the plot really felt like it was dragging until the last quarter of the book, and the relationship between Madinia and Calysian wasn't strong enough to make up for it. The only thing that really kept pushing me forward was knowing I'd get some sort of cameos from other characters from the KOL series.

Will I read the final book in this duology? Probably. I wasn't satisfied at all with the glimpses of the other characters that I loved so much from the first series and am hoping the next installment gives me a more satisfying reunion. Now that I think about it, this book just left me wanting more and not in a good way. I wanted more than what was actually delivered.

This Vicious Dream by Stacia Stark was phenomenal! An action-packed romantasy with just the right amount of spice and an exquisite slow burn—I couldn’t get enough. I adored Madinia—she’s the perfect sassy, strong heroine, and I loved every moment of her journey. The pacing, the tension, the emotion—it was all so well done. I flew through this book in less than 24 hours, and the audiobook was absolutely exceptional. I truly can’t rave about it enough. Huge thanks to NetGalley for the ALC—this was an unforgettable read!

You know it’s a good book ( are we even surprised when it’s a Stacia Stark’s book) when you feel all the emotions through reading it. I laughed, shed a tear, raged, swooned and what more.

Madinia Farrows, the woman you are!!!!
I loved her to bits. She was morally grey, prickly, grumpy and moody heroine. But she also had the biggest heart which she hid from everyone.
Madinia was on fire ( pun intended) in this book. Her rage, helplessness, emotions- I loved it all. Calysian was swoony, witty and amazing. Their back and forth was so good.
They gave that black cat x golden retriever vibes and I totally ate it up.

This book had it all- a complex and fantastic plot, world building, adventures, morally grey characters, steam, revenge and so much feminine rage.
I couldn’t put it down and ending just about ended ME.

Can’t wait to read the second book.
Highly highly recommended.

-Morally grey characters.
-Black cat x golden retriever.
-Opposite attract, One bed, forced proximity, unexpected twists and turns.
-They don’t trust each other but they will kill for each other.
-Rivals to lovers.
-KU, Duet and TW, safe.

P.s If you love romantasy this book is it.

Audiobook review, narrated by Meg Sylvan and Tim Paige.
I loved this audiobook. Meg Sylvan had the silkiest voice in the world, so I can't wait to listen to more of her work!
Here's me not realising the FMC Madinia was a character in the Kingdom of Lies series, which I have still to read!
But I don't think I lost anything, I thoroughly enjoyed the story, the romance, and I can't wait to see how this series continues. Stacia Stark is becoming a must read author.

4⭐

✅ Enjoyed it!
✅ Intrigued what the role of the KoL gang will be in the next book given that they'll be dealing with gods (MORE LORIAN AND PRISCA!)
🆗 ❤ I was expecting more from the romance department, especially their **HUGE SPOILER** . Hoping for more development and sweet sweeeeet romance in the next book!

I jolted back, brandishing my sword as another man stalked through the clearing toward me. Our eyes met, and his mouth dropped open.

“You,” he snarled. “Why is it always you?”
“My thoughts exactly.”

5⭐️spoiler free review - ARC

SO thankful to have received an ARC copy of this book. Let me tell you this was the most fast paced fun book I have read in months. There was not a single ounce of fluff every single page was jam packed and important. I definitely think reading the kingdom of lies series prior would make this experience infinitely better, but you could read it without. I absolutely loved all of the twists and turns that happened and I’m so excited to see the conclusion of this book. Some things to look forward to in this book are complex magic systems, cat and mouse, meddling gods, and an amazinggggg and super relatable FMC. Please pick this one up!!!

5 Fantastic ⭐️ If you want a Romantasy with an exquisite slow burn, immaculate spice and a gripping story you should def pick this up. Tbf I always liked Madinia’s character but I absolutely loved her in this. The slow revelation of her vulnerability combined with her bad-ass attitude really won me over and Calysian 🔥What can I say. I’m a sucker for a hot god and he was perfection.

I kid you not, I enjoyed every minute of this book and did not want it to end. And what an ending! The reveals 👌Stacia Stark never fails to provide an addictive read.

Currently not sure how I’m going to wait for the second book in this duology but I will def pick it up as soon as I can.

Thank you to Stacia and The Nerd Fam for kindly allowing me to read this early copy. My thoughts are totally honest and very much my own.

I have been DYING for Madinia and Calysian’s story since the end of Kingdom of Lies, and WOW it did not disappoint. I loved This Vicious Dream with my entire heart.

I adored Madinia in Kingdom of Lies and loved her even more in This Vicious Dream. She’s fierce, feisty, a bit jaded, and filled with feminine rage. And I’m here for it. I loved her independence and strong will.

The way she tried to resist Calysian but couldn’t was ✨chefs kiss✨. The tension was delicious and I was eating up the grumpy x grumpier dynamic between the two. Not to mention the game of cat and mouse they played the entire time.

There’s just something about Stacia’s writing that draws me in from the first page and keeps me hooked until the last. I couldn’t put this down.

The reveals had me gasping! One after another, it was just so action packed. 🙌🏼 The ending was SO good and I’m sooo excited for the next book omg 🥳

I highly recommend This Vicious Dream if you’re a fan of rivals to lovers romantasy, I’m thoroughly obsessed!

They said this book could be read without the prequel series, but I really don’t think that’s true. I say that as someone who did not read the first series Kingdom of Lies. This felt like jumping into the middle of a book. The writing is so fast paced it felt like I couldn’t keep up or really absorb stuff cause the next sentence is something completely left field. Writing is not for me. Very jarring.

Stacia never ceases to amaze me, and that's a fact. Whenever I have the privilege of ARC-reading her book, I know what awaits me: an enthralling story filled with action, amazing plot twists and turns, beautifully crafted characters, and, above all, a sizzling romance that's ready to swoon, amaze, and utterly shatter my heart and soul.

After devouring Stacia's Kingdom of Lies series, I knew it was only a matter of time until Madinia gets her own story. And let me tell you, the wait was so worth it! Madinia was such a strong and fierce character, plagued by her inner demons, and I'm so grateful she got her own spinoff in the Kingdom of Death duet.

Should you read Kingdom of Lies first? I wouldn't say it's necessary, but I would highly suggest it; your experience will be so much deeper and fuller if you follow the story from its beginning.

This Vicious Dream gives us Madinia in all her glory—it perfectly portrays her fierceness, strength, and thirst for revenge. But it also shows us her most vulnerable parts, her innermost thoughts and battles. I loved seeing both parts; they are what make Madiania who she is. And honestly, there isn't anyone more perfect to be her counterpart than Calysian. From the first moment they met in the Kingdom of Lies, it was clear their paths would cross again. And cross they did...These two together are a fireworks of emotions, and I gulped down their every interaction.

It wouldn't be a Stacia Stark book without a devastating cliffhanger, but that ending only promises more gut-wrenching emotions, heart-twisting revelations, and mind-shattering twists and turns. Now I just have to keep counting down the days until the sequel is safely in my arms.

When I began This Vicious Dream by Stacia Stark, I felt a little lost. We were dropped into memories and backstory with very little to ground us, and for the first 20% or so, I found myself muddled, trying to piece things together. It was a lot—almost too much—but once I got past that point, I eased into the storyline and was happily along for the ride. 🥰

I really enjoyed the relationship dynamics, both romantic and platonic. I could feel the tug-of-war between her mind and her heart, and that internal conflict made her choices and relationships feel all the more real.

The world-building was intriguing, especially the layers involving fates, gods, and their intricate plotting. It was fun trying to tease apart everyone’s agendas and seeing how it all wove together.

As we got closer to the end, the twists took me by surprise—and then came a sprinkle ✨ of my favorite trope ever, which immediately got me so hyped. But just as things started really picking up… it ended! 😭🫣 I’m definitely intrigued by this story and excited to see where things go in the next book.

Thank you so much to Stacia Stark, NetGalley, and Dreamscape Media for this ALC.

Ok Stacia, I see you. This book has it ALL, and I’m so glad that, while it’s a spin off, it absolutely stood on its own. You definitely don’t need to read the other books, but I’ll be heading to the Kingdom of Lies ASAP. I want to know more about all of Madinia’s friends!

I can’t believe how lucky I am to have gotten an advanced copy of this book. (Thank you to Stacia Stark and The Nerd Fam) I had no idea her writing style was so addicting. This book started at a gallop, and didn’t let up. What a ride, I enjoyed every second including the leap right off the cliffhanger…

The characters are all so fabulously developed and complex, in such a short period of time I was rooting for everyone (well, not Kyldare or Bridin). There’s serious slow burn, and tons of intrigue, betrayal, twists, edge of your seat action and laugh out loud humor. Of course there’s some of my favorite things: animal sidekicks, including a super snappy stallion.

I can’t wait for the second book, but in the meantime I’ll be reading the Kingdom of Lies series

I’m so excited to be back in the Kingdom of Lies world again. To see characters I know and love. And especially to get a story just for Madinia.

I know she’s more of a side character during Prisca and Lorian’s story but I always loved her. Madinia is strong, smart, brave and a whole lot sassy. I knew I would love This Vicious Dream immediately.

And I was not disappointed. From the very beginning I was hooked. It starts off with a (literal) bang and the action doesn’t slow down. Twist after twist kept coming. I felt like I was two steps behind Madinia trying to piece things together that she already knew.

And Calysian. I don’t think there’s anyone better suited for Madinia than him. Talk about a broody, dark, and yet somehow cinnamon-roll MMC. The way he takes what Madinia says and throws it right back at her is *chefs kiss*.

I loved everything about This Vicious Dream and I can’t wait to continue the story. Thank you so much for the ARC, I am beyond grateful to have had the chance to read and review your book Stacia.

ARC review

Thank you to Stacia Stark & The Nerd Fam for allowing me to read this e-book in exchange for my honest review.

This book was fast paced and I was very invested in the story. Madinia is a stabby and fierce FMC who has overcome a lot of trauma and I really like her character. The MMC is well written and I enjoyed the conflict inherent to their relationship as reluctant allies.

This book has magic, prophecies, a quest, betrayal, and even the Gods play a role in the story. It is also dual POV, which I love. The ending definitely leaves you wanting answers, and I cannot wait to read book 2!

Now, although you can technically read this as a standalone, I would definitely recommend reading The Kingdom of Lies series first.

Release Date: May 13,2025☺️
What do you get when you mix a witty badass main character and a perfect example of shadow daddy in uneasy truce to get a grimoire that has the power to not only reshape the world they know or.. destroy it.
Tropes:
❤️‍🔥One Bed 👀
⚔️ Enemies to Lovers
🪄 Magic
🏹 Sequel Spin-Off series ( Kingdom of Lies)
What I love love love about Stacia’s writing is her ability to set the stage of an explosion of sexiness so perfectly that when it finally happens, it happens. And the witty back and forth between our two main lovers is for sure the highlight of the story. And seeing this world expanded is such a glorious thing to behold.
This book is the type of book that you read early and need a physical copy cause it was that good. I snagged mine on Barnes and Nobles 25% off sale 🥰 (Hint Hint It Ends tomorrow)
Overall a book worthy of a film series, a television series and all the success in the world. ❤️
I hope you check it out on KU or in physical book gorgeousness ❤️
I 100% recommend this amazing book💯
