This book had been sitting next to me for awhile. A good friend gave it to me when he didn't know what to say and when nothing could be said. An excellent, honest, encouraging, and compassionate account of a father grieving the loss of his son.

Plenty of good perspective from a dad who lost his teenage son.

This book is a gem. The agony and pain that the author experiences from the loss of his young son is palpable. The counsel he learns from God and others, which he then passes on to the reader is genuine and authentic. This is a must read book for anyone who is going through a difficult loss in life and wants to know the comfort of Christ. This book would also well serve anyone who is a comforter to the afflicted.
