A fabulous gift pack which includes a 64-page paperback book and 6 ready-to-frame keepsake 8 x 10 prints on one of the world's most recognized artists!
I borrowed this book from the library and so did not get the FREE ready-to-frame 8 x 10 prints that it seems to me the publisher is using Goodreads to promote. Never-the-less, if you want a book with reproductions of some of Gauguin's work, the story behind each of those pictures and a brief biography of Gauguin, this one is OK.
I was not previously aware of an author named 'Instinctive Editorial' but it seems they have written a few of this series not to mention some totally unrelated stuff.
Beautiful 64-page coffee table booklet along with 6 prints of his colorful print suitable for framing.
Gauguin, one of 50 or more artists of the Paris Scene of the latter half of the 19th century, traveled the South Pacific in search of subject matter, quiet, and cheap living. His reds, blues, yellows and whites are bright and cheery.
