My biggest hobby is learing languages and ocanisonally I like to try ones I have never done before for fun and recently I had an urge to try out Indonesian. This one seemed to be the only textbook I could find for Indonesian at my bookstore so I picked it up. I love the teach yourself series but sometimes they are a hit or a miss, but this one doesn't disssapoint. Each chapter starts with a dialouge followed by vocabulary and grammar points. At the end of each chapter there is a quiz and exercises. I had a lot of fun going through this book and I hope go on studdying Indonesian, the language itself is very easy and fun to learn! If you are interested in learning Indonesian I highly recomend this book.

Very enjoyable book. Each chapter contains two dialogues on a specific day to day topic like transportation, making phone calls, ..., audio is available on their website. There are lots of additional vocabulary lists that I mostly skipped and some grammar explanations that can be useful.
