For this review and more Live Read and Breathe
I was given this book as a gift for an honest review so her it goes..... I was excited to read this as I have been a fan of Abigail Strom and her Landry series. These books can be read as part as a series or stand alone.
The thing I loved about this book is it is innocent yet still intriguing. It was a romance book with a bit of drama but a whole bunch of hope, family, friends, dreams, happiness and love.
Nick and Sara both have dreams that they believe are more important than love but they quickly realize that maybe love is more important than careers. Dreams can lie flat if you don't have anyone to share them with.
The support of their friends and family Emilio, Kevin and an appearance of Jenna and Claire (from Cross my Heart) was a great addition to the story. I think there will be more of this family with books about Claire and possibly Kevin. I am super excited and can't wait to continue in the journey of the Landry family finding love and happiness.

I'm a huge fan of Strom, so this isn't going to be an unbiased review. She is one of those writers that I'll read anything with her name on it.
I loved this story though. I even learned some things about history/politics! But, more importantly, I learned that two people who have buried themselves in their careers to shield their emotional issues CAN come together and have a very unique journey getting there.
As always, so many facets of this story resonate with readers. From addiction of a relative, true forgiveness, aging and feeling deserving of a love you feel much less one you are receiving.
Like all Strom books, I read this without putting it down!

This was a really sweet story and I liked it a lot... I don't know what it's like to live for the job as is the case of being a ballet dancer (I work because I have to,not because I want to)but I think strom showed the feelings just right I felt the devestation of stepping down...

Great book! Very interesting look at how our past influences us.
I enjoyed the book. It showed how past relationships could affect interactions with new people.. It was a quick, easy and fluid novel. Story seemed plausible.

Beautiful!
This book was beautiful! The author described things so well and there were quite a few nuggets or advice in this novel that I’ll store away for myself. This story is romantic and beautiful and sad and wonderful and I’m so glad I read it!

I read some of the harsh reviews. I'd say they were a little over the top. This is a good book. There are definitely spelling errors and grammatical errors but it's not too bad.

Abigail Strom...always a winner. I love her stories and this one was no exception. It might have been a little less memorable than some of her other books but still very enjoyable.

Another Landry man and another good story. Abigail storm has certainly written a good series , giving the reader a variety of tales of love with connecting characters .

The last few books I've read have been extremely intense, angsty, emotional roller coasters. After reading so many wonderful yet frustrating books, I was in the mood to curl up with a super sweet and sexy love story. I wanted a book that didn't make me want to throw my Kindle across the room. I wanted to read a story that made me "ohh" and "ahh". I wanted to find something that made me feel warm and fuzzy. And that's exactly what I got from Into Your Arms. It was exactly what I was looking for.
Into Your Arms by Abigail Strom was a super cute, super sweet romance novel. Ms. Strom was able to bring her characters, their passions, and their fears to life. Sara and Nick are two wonderful characters that readers will root for.
I was a competitive dancer from the time I started walking until I was sixteen years old. When I was younger, I dreamed of living in New York City and dancing on broadway. My dream was a little different from the NYBT, but it was my dream all the same. In the end, I didn't have the passion (or the talent) that it takes to be a professional dancer. That being said, I could really relate to Sara and her love for dance, and I am in awe of her for the sacrifices she made to follow her dream. Whether readers have a background in dance or not, they will be able to relate to Sara's passion and commitment.
I hate to admit it but I'm a lot closer to Sara (not very informed) than Nick (very informed) on the politics scale. As I've gotten older, I've definitely become more aware, but I don't kick back and watch CNN or FOX NEWS for fun in my spare time. I was a little worried that the political mumbo jumbo would deter me from really, really liking this novel, but I was so wrong. I really LOVED watching Nick work because he was phenomenal at his job and he had a way with people. But the credit really goes to the author. Ms. Strom focused more on the political candidate's personality and passion then her actual beliefs or values. So I also really enjoyed that about this novel.
Overall, Into Your Arms was a really good romance novel. It was slightly predictable at times, but hey, to be completely honest, that was exactly what I was in the mood for when I picked up this novel. I wanted to read a story that I knew, without a shadow of a doubt, would give me the happily every after ending that I was looking for, and it did.
I gave Into Your Arms by Abigail Strom 4 STARS (3.5 STARS). I recommend this novel to adult romance lovers.

4.5 Stars!
Oh my, Abigail Strom has done it again. I absolutely loved Sara and Nick's story. In fact, I am sad it is over. It has been awhile since I have loved getting to know two characters so much in a story. Where I got completely caught up in them, in their love and friendship. In their brokenness and challenges.
And even though they both were attracted to each other from the get go, I loved the slow build up to their love and relationship. I loved the friendship that developed between them and that this wasn't an insta love type of thing. I am even happy to say, there wasn't a love triangle either. Just a sweet story with a happily ever after I love.
I loved that this was told in both points of view. I love being able to get inside both character's heads and see what they are really thinking and feeling. And of course, seeing the inside of Nick's head was quite nice. I loved all of his thoughts and feelings about Sara. Most of them made me get that dopey lovey dovey look on my face (gross I know!) but I couldn't help it, he was just a really good person. A little broken yes but that made him better some how. It just worked for him. He was strong and caring and a fixer and really, he was everything Sara needed. He pushed her when she needed it and never let her be less than her best. Never let anything get in the way of her happiness.

I received Into Your Arms by author Abigail Storm for free from Goodreads First Reads to review.
The only reason I rated this book 3.5 stars instead of four is that the story felt rushed in 216 pages. I felt like more story could have been told, more romance told.
Sara was a strong character with passion and drive about her love of dance. She wasn't really flawed other than dating a man she felt she could never love but was perfect on paper for her. The dance scenes were amazing and really showed her passion for her profession.
Nick's personality and flaws were a little more hidden. He seemed like the perfect guy and it was easy to root for him. He was very driven in his political field but didn't let himself get attached to the individuals of the campaigns he ran. He didn't let himself get attached in love either.
Both characters went through much growth in the novel. Sara took a terrible fall that stood to end her dance career early. And Nick was taking care of her, while trying his hardest to keep it platonic.
This book was a lovely romantic read and I wished it had been longer since I got so attached to the story and these characters. I can't wait to read more by Abigail Storm. Also Emilio was the greatest best friend ever and totally deserves to have his own story!

Kindle Unlimited strikes again! Loving this new service, and this story is one I picked up because I enjoyed Cross My Heart from this author about a year ago. This is one of those quick, lighthearted, feel good reads that reinforces your belief in love and taking a chance on love and relationships. Nick has been deeply hurt and disappointed by the women in his life, beginning with his own Mom, who left when he was two; then he was abandoned and betrayed by his first and only love. Though he deeply loves his oldest brother, there is some baggage that makes Nick feel vulnerable and insecure. Sara is the breath of fresh air that Nick needed; but his insecurities threatened to destroy everything he desperately wants. Sara has not had the best track record in romance, and her childhood has also left scars that are hard to overcome. This is a wonderful journey of self discovery, healing, love and trust. Thanks Abigail for this story.

What I love about Abigail Strom books is I always know I'm in for a great, sweet contemporary read. She always delivers a smart, well written, interesting read with fully developed characters and stories. Sara is a ballet dancer nearing the end of her performing years and Nick is a political consultant who is supposed to be temporarily visiting New York and they end up neighbors who are attracted to each other but determined not to act on it because they know it's going nowhere since Nick will be leaving to go back to Washington D.C. The chemistry is really real and convincing. I loved how they developed a relationship before finally getting together. In the end both of them changed their careers and I loved how it ended up. I really thought Nick's character was well portrayed and his issues played out in a way that I was rooting for him and I understood him. Another wonderful, escape from this author!

Into your arms, was a sweet story of two people trying to play it safe in their lives. Sara a ballerina knew practically her whole life that love would come second after her love for dance. Sara played it safe with people she knew she would never love. Nick A political consultant was good at fixing everyone else lives but wouldn't look at his own issues.
There was almost instant chemistry between the two, and I did like the build up between the two. I felt it could have happen it little sooner but I really did like it as it happened. My only two complaints where, once they got together the rest of the book seemed a little rush. I really like the ending it would of been nice to have a epilogue.

Pretty much my favorite Abigail Strom book to date. The characters, the story, and just the overall flow were nice. No major end-of-the-world drama but enough to keep you interested and wanting to know what happens next. What makes this even better (and has totally upped my liking of this author even more) was that she sent me this book and that is just awesome. Even though this has nothing to do with the review, doing that makes you feel like the author appreciates and respects the readers and it's a cool feeling. So, of course, I had to read it immediately and get a review up as soon as possible as a thank you!

My Favorite Abigail Strom's Book ( so far)!
Wow, I loved the message in this book about going after your passion even though it is scary or the tougher road at times because risks can either pay off or hurt. The payoff of a risky decision is so much sweater and worth it every time. Plus we learn more when we fail after taking a risk so if you succeed or fail with the risk you are better off. The intense love between the characters is amazing as well as the writing. Loved this book!

A simplistic yet very endearing love story. It talks about not only love but a lot of things; getting over fear; a headstrong determination to weather the odds; protecting one's self; looking after family and friends; trust; falling in love...
Sara and Nick met in New York where Sara lives and Nick is staying for a business trip. They fell in love hard, yet they were both scared to move forward, as they were both protecting themselves from the "inevitable" heartbreak.
It was a fast read, and I enjoyed every page. Pick up this book if you want an easy and relaxing romantic read.

I liked this less than the first two in the series, but it was still a good book. There are some scenes I disliked in the book, such as near the beginning when the author portrays a man who has been drinking staring at a woman's breasts as something which is cute (instead of an ugly scene which gives men a bad name). But my advice to readers is to keep reading despite such irritations, because the characters iand story continue Strom's tradition of romantic books worth reading.

I absolutely loved this book - and all the other books in the Landry series. Abigail Strom is a fantastic find. Her dialogue is real, funny and emotional in all the right places. The chemistry between her H&H is always spot on and the story itself realistic and interesting. I totally recommend this book and the other books in the Landry series - if you love Jill Shalvis, Marie Force, Jane Graves, Shannon Stacey, Elizabeth Naughton and their ilk, you will definitely love Abigail Strom.

My fave of the series! I really didn't like Sara's character and I loved Nick's character at the beginning of this book. Sara grew with Nick's friendship as the book progressed and then like out o nowhere I hate Nick. Thankfully he redeems himself quickly. I would love to read more about them.

Into Your Arms is a sweet romance novel about the dream guy every girl wants: which is someone that truly loves her, believes in her, pushes her to do what makes her happy, and fights for her.
Into Your Arms is #4 is the Landry series, but it can be read as a stand alone novel. I have not read any of the previous books in this series, but had no problems following this novel.

Strom is a real pro -- her books are always well written and smart. It's just a question of how your tastes match up against a given book in plot, character, setting etc. For me, this was one of her best. I love the NYC locations, the ballet context, and Nick and Sara were both sympathetic and complicated characters. It's more sweet than steamy, but it's high in longing and suspense.
