Flan Flood is back!

It's time for Thanksgiving break, and Flan's family has been invited to the island of Nevis in the Caribbean by the Zumberg's. Fran is told that she can bring one of her friends along. After careful consideration, Flan throws caution to the wind and invites BOTH Judith and Meredith along for the holiday. So the three girls get themselves packed and off they fly for their week-long holiday of fun in the sun.

But the holiday is nothing like Flan had dreamed. Within a day, Judith is miserable because the other two girls won't let her cram for the finals that they will return to after the holiday. And Meredith has met Kennedy, Flan's old nemesis from her days at Miss Mallard's. After a confrontation, Judith is packed and headed home. And Meredith starts to defend Kennedy to Flan.

Flan is miserable and Meredith is having the holiday that Flan thought they'd all share. After a desperate phone call to Sara-Beth Benny, Flan's BBF, a helicopter arrives on the stretch of beach that Flan was relaxing on, alone. Out pops SBB, along with a huge steamer trunk that the two of them bought together prior to Flan's holiday. SBB has discovered that the steamer trunk has become a great place to hide away in. So she shares it with Flan, and the whirlwind visit is enough to perk Flan back up.

But it's only after sitting down to Thanksgiving dinner with her family that the vacation truly turns into the holiday Flan was expecting. Her old friend Camille (who had abandoned her for the flash of Kennedy) has shown up and literally apologizes to Flan. Flan realizes what she's been missing since attending school at Stuyvesant High. It makes Flan start to reevaluate the choices she's made for herself and decide if she's truly happy.

SOME KIND OF WONDERFUL is a deliciously fun continuation of the INSIDE GIRL novels. Flan and her group of friends live amazing lives that the reader gets caught up in and envious over. Living vicariously through them all makes for a guilty pleasure. You won't want to miss what Flan and her gang gets up to in the latest installment! And watch out for more when ALL THAT GLITTERS comes out in September.

This is about a girl, Flan Flood , who goes on vacation to Nevis for her Thanksgiving break. There she encounters her ex-best friend and enemy , Kennedy . This was a family trip and the siblings got to bring some people with them. Flan was only allowed to bring on person and instead brought both Meredith and Judith. On the first night the girls went out and told Judith to stop studying and she got mad and left the next day. Later on , Meredith and Kennedy got really close to each other and Flan feels left out so calls Sara Beth Benny for help. A few days into the trip Meredith starts to hang out and sleep in Kennedy's bungalow leaving Flan left alone in her bungalow. During Thanksgiving they Flood's had a family dinner. Everyone else left after the dinner leaving the mom and Flan the only ones left. Then she reunites with her other best friend from Miss Mallards(her private school), Camille. Flan and Camille plans to a party and makes Kennedy and Meredith look like nothing. When they came back from vacation she decides she misses private school so she will be transferring back to private school where all her friends were. She also decides to dump Adam since she feels she has no connection with him anymore. In the end Flan's sister throws a huge party in her house and its not only a one theme party .. it was for Flan, and Patch and a holiday party

Inside Girl: Some Kind Of Wonderful by J. Minter
 Flan Flood, a popular rich teenage girl goes on vacation when she encounters her rival, Kennedy. Kennedy becomes Flan’s problem once again, giving Flan the hardest time. Kennedy once again steals away Flan’s best friend, the way she stole Flan’s ex-best friend in private school. I find this book amusing, because it was full of drama and I love to read drama. This book kind of demonstrates the theme of betrayal. You can see the theme of betrayal when Flan’s new best friend, Meredith started to go behind Flan’s back in order to hang out with Kennedy. My favorite part of this book was when her private school ex-best friend, Camille came back to her and helped her get back at Kennedy. Overall, I really enjoyed this book, it’s one of those books, I would recommend to my drama-loving friends.

I only read the first two or three chapters of this book. It was one of those that start out really slow and than get better as you read it. But i hate those kind they have to start out interesting from the 23 word. And this one didnt

It looked like it could maybe be a good book ( if you read more than i did ) but i didnt read more than i did so there for i dont know for sure so i give it two stars.
