"Why Not Me?-2" by Anubhav Agrawal is a heartfelt exploration of love, heartbreak, and the raw reality of moving on. Agrawal brings readers into an emotional journey where unrequited love, vulnerability, and the complexity of relationships are portrayed with honest intensity. Following his breakup with Zoya, Anubhav finds himself entangled in the painful process of healing, only to encounter Saloni, who brings a glimmer of hope and the promise of new beginnings. This story strikes a balance between love’s beautiful moments and the struggles that often come with it, capturing emotions in a way that feels real and relatable.

The characters are well-developed, particularly Anubhav and Saloni, who symbolize resilience and renewal. Agrawal’s narrative style effectively conveys his inner fears, insecurities, and hope, pulling readers into his world. The use of English helps the story resonate widely, making it accessible to a broad audience. However, the Hinglish dialogues might feel casual to some readers, impacting the immersive experience.

While light in tone, the book offers depth, with relatable situations and emotions that make it engaging for those who have experienced heartbreak. Some may find the narrative straightforward, but it holds an appeal for readers who enjoy realistic stories of love and loss. Overall, "Why Not Me?-2" is a touching, emotional journey and a recommended read for anyone seeking a story that’s both honest and comforting, with an underlying message of hope.

If you’ve ever gone through the pain of heartbreak and wondered whether you’d ever be able to love again, Why Not Me?-2 by Anubhav Agrawal is a book that will hit you right in the feels. Agrawal doesn’t just write about love; he writes about its messiness, its beauty, and the emotional rollercoaster that comes with it. The book picks up from where the first one left off, diving deep into Anubhav’s world of healing after a tough breakup. The story feels so real that you can almost feel the weight of every emotion Anubhav goes through. And yes, it’s that kind of book that makes you both cry and smile—sometimes at the same time.

Anubhav is trying to heal after a breakup with Zoya. You know the kind of breakup that leaves you questioning everything? Yeah, that one. Enter Saloni, a fresh breath of air who might just be the person to help him move forward. But healing is never easy. Anubhav’s journey from heartache to hope isn’t perfect. He struggles, has doubts, and wonders if he’ll ever be able to love again. But as he slowly opens up, Saloni becomes more than just a symbol of new beginnings—she’s the hope that we all need when we feel like we’re lost in our own emotions.

What makes Anubhav Agrawal’s writing so engaging is its simplicity. He doesn't try to be fancy or overly poetic. The way he talks about heartbreak feels like it could be a conversation between friends. The use of Hinglish (a mix of Hindi and English) adds so much authenticity—it’s the kind of language that you hear in real-life conversations. It’s casual, but it feels like you're reading something honest and personal. Agrawal’s writing might not be overly sophisticated, but that’s exactly what makes it so relatable and easy to connect with.

Anubhav is the kind of character who feels like someone you’ve met in real life. He’s flawed, vulnerable, and that’s what makes him so endearing. His emotional journey feels incredibly raw, and as a reader, you can’t help but root for him to find happiness again. Saloni, though she’s the ray of sunshine in his life, isn’t just a flawless angel. She brings warmth, yes, but she also adds a touch of reality to the story, reminding us that healing isn’t linear. The chemistry between the two characters is natural, and watching their relationship unfold is like watching a slow but beautiful dance of two people figuring out how to love again.

The plot is straightforward, and honestly, that works perfectly for a story like this. There aren’t any dramatic twists or out-of-nowhere surprises. Instead, the beauty of the book lies in how Agrawal captures the small moments—the conversations, the silences, the quiet realizations. It’s a book about emotional growth, and the structure allows that to shine without overwhelming you with unnecessary plot gimmicks. It’s a slow burn, but it’s one that keeps you engaged and invested in Anubhav’s journey.

The main theme of Why Not Me?-2 is, of course, love. But it’s also about healing. About realizing that just because one relationship didn’t work out, it doesn’t mean that your chance at happiness is over. It’s about opening your heart again, even when you’re afraid. The book explores how self-love and vulnerability go hand in hand—how we need to accept ourselves, flaws and all, before we can truly let someone else in. Saloni is the embodiment of this message, a beacon of light showing Anubhav that love isn’t about perfection; it’s about growth and being open to new experiences.

This book doesn’t just make you think—it makes you feel. Anubhav’s emotional journey is relatable to anyone who has ever had their heart broken, and the way he slowly unpacks his feelings is both cathartic and comforting. As he moves from despair to hope, you can’t help but be moved. It’s that kind of book that stays with you long after you’ve finished reading. I found myself reflecting on my own experiences with love and loss, which is a true testament to how powerful Agrawal’s writing is.

Anubhav Agrawal’s honesty is the biggest strength of this book. He doesn’t sugarcoat the tough stuff; he writes about heartbreak and healing in a way that feels real. The simplicity of his language makes the emotional depth of the story stand out even more. His characters are authentic, and their struggles feel like something anyone could relate to. The pacing is perfect for the type of emotional journey this book wants to take you on—it’s slow, steady, and meaningful.

While the book is undeniably relatable, it does fall into some predictability. The plot is simple, and there aren’t any big surprises that make your jaw drop. Some might find that lack of unpredictability a little dull, especially if they’re used to stories with constant twists and turns. But honestly, I think the simplicity of the plot works because the book isn’t about the destination—it’s about the emotional journey.

This book is perfect for anyone who loves a good, heartfelt love story that isn’t afraid to tackle the messy, painful side of relationships. If you’ve ever been through a tough breakup or wondered if you could ever find love again, Why Not Me?-2 will speak to you. The story is most definitely geared toward young adults and anyone who appreciates a straightforward yet emotional narrative that deals with love, loss, and the possibility of second chances.

Why Not Me?-2 is a beautiful, heartfelt story that will leave you thinking about love long after you’ve turned the last page. It’s not about grand gestures or unrealistic happily-ever-afters; it’s about the real, sometimes painful process of healing and learning to love again. Anubhav Agrawal has a unique way of capturing the ups and downs of life and love, and if you’re looking for a book that’s both emotionally raw and hopeful, this is it. It’s not perfect, but its imperfections make it all the more authentic and relatable.

“Why Not Me?-2” is a very deeply emotional exploration of love, loss and struggle to find the strength. With this sequel, Anubhav Agrawal comes up with a simplistic, real life depiction of how it is to get over a bitter break up. After the break up with Zoya, the author himself also experiences the journey of self healing. This seemingly improbable process acquires a turn when Saloni enters his life, bringing the promise of love and the possibility of healing. However, true to life, the journey to healing from such a trauma is never straight and the book gives an all-rounded view of the challenges of new relationships after such brutality.

Anubhav’s character feels real because of well-inflicted weaknesses that safe readers with similar adversities they can easily associate with. In her role Saloni symbolizes hope; she symbolizes new beginnings, and second chances in life. The author skillfully portrays their growth, with flawed and realistic traits that keep the story grounded.

The writer of the book uses English with Hindi words and phrases which makes the story seem all the more realistic. His down to earth but deep speaking voice together with ordinary conversations and instances mimics the rocky journey of heartbreak. Its language does not intentionally aim at poetic, which could make it rather interesting to the larger readership; the aspects of love described are real and true to life, while the obstacles and struggles of the protagonists are raw. It means straightforward writing makes the book accessible, appealing to a wide audience, especially those who prefer a realistic and honest depiction of love's highs and lows.

This book addresses the pain of unrequited love, the struggle to move on, and the uncertainty of new beginnings. The theme of resilience is interwoven throughout the story, offering a heartfelt reminder that healing is neither easy nor quick, but it is possible. Anubhav's journey is an emotional ride that brings readers face-to-face with their own fears and hopes in matters of the heart.

Relationships are unpredictable, messy, and sometimes outright brutal—Why Not Me? 2 attempts to capture this raw reality, portraying love in its most vulnerable and uncertain form. It explores the emotional highs and lows of modern relationships, the risks we take despite knowing the potential heartbreak, and the hope that some connections will endure even when tested. The book’s biggest strength lies in its honesty—it doesn’t try to romanticize love but instead presents it as it is: complicated, demanding, and often unfair.

However, while the themes are undeniably relatable, the execution didn’t always resonate with me. The writing, though easy to get through, often felt too simplistic, almost like it was skimming the surface rather than fully immersing me in the characters' emotional depths. Moments that could have been deeply moving sometimes came across as rushed or lacking the weight they deserved. The narration had potential to be truly gripping, but at times, it felt more like a retelling of events rather than an experience I could deeply connect with.

Another aspect that held me back from fully enjoying the book was the way certain dialogues and inner monologues were presented. While realistic in some ways, they occasionally felt too casual or superficial, making it hard to completely lose myself in the story. I found myself wanting more introspection, more nuance—something that would make me feel the stakes and struggles of these characters on a deeper level.

Overall, it’s a light, easy read—something you can finish in one sitting. If you’re looking for a straightforward, no-frills take on modern relationships, this might work for you. But if you crave a more nuanced and emotionally layered story, it may leave you wanting more.

The first book of the ‘Why Not Me’ series was a sensation, and though I hadn’t read it, the buzz left me curious about what draws readers into such intimate stories. So when the sequel surfaced, I dove in, eager to find out.

Anubhav is still nursing a heartache from his split with Zoya, pouring his emotions into late-night Instagram posts that strike a chord with his followers. To his surprise, people begin turning to him for relationship advice, drawn by the honesty in his words. After graduation, he starts a new chapter in Delhi, trying to settle into a routine—until a DM from Saloni changes everything. She’s a breath of fresh air, lifting him up, motivating and pushing him to dream bigger. With her encouragement, Anubhav creates a new Instagram account to escape the shadowban that haunts his old one. Just as things seem stable, a job offer in Muscat throws their relationship into uncertainty, testing their newfound connection.

This story is the author’s raw, honest take on the unpredictable nature of real-life relationships—messy, demanding, and often ruthless. Despite knowing the risks, we dive in, driven by love, hoping that some bonds can withstand the inevitable trials, and that’s precisely the emotion the author tries to capture. However, there are elements that, personally, I found hard to embrace. The Hinglish writing style, while catering to certain readers, took away from the immersive feel I look for in a story. Additionally, while the events themselves are authentic, the writing sometimes felt so superficial that it bordered on naivity. Overall, it’s a light read, but it may lack the depth some readers crave.

Why Not Me 2: The Pain of One Sided Love
By Anubhav Agrawal

Dil tootne ka dard, shabdon mein bayaan nahi kiya ja sakta.

Duniya ki sabse berehem, sabse zaalim cheez hai dil ka tootna. Anubhav kabhi soch bhi nahi sakta tha ki Zoya ke saath break-up ke baad kitna dard hoga, kitna woh tanhayi ke andhere mein doobta chala jayega.

Par kismat bhi kya cheez hai … Jab Anubhav apne dil ke tukdon ko jodne ki koshish kar raha tha, tab Saloni ne uski zindagi mein aa kar usey phir se jeena sikha diya. Ek chhote se ‘Hi’ se raat-raat bhar calls tak ka safar, aur dekhte-hi-dekhte, woh anjaan shaqs jaan ban gaya.

Why Not Me? – 2 ki kahani wahi se shuru hoti hai jahan Why Not Me? khatm huyi thi. Iss kitaab mein, Anubhav ne apni zindagi ke naye chapter ke baare mein likha hai. Magar kya iss baar muqammal ho payegi Anubhav ki mohabbat, ya iss baar bhi adhuri reh jayegi? Woh kehte hain na, yeh ishq nahi asaan bas itna samajh lijiye, ek aag ka dariya hai aur doob ke jana hai.

This book is great for those who understand Hindi, love Hindi, talk in Hindi but couldn't read hindi, now they can taste the nectar from the author's pen. A great new addition to the literary world which is astonishingly sharp, dazzling and beautifully crafted in Hindi, a soulful book with warmest voice and a language that is close to our heart.

Romantic book lovers must try this.

I wanted to read this book because reading a Hinglish edition is something new for me and I found the book very interesting.

Why Not Me? - 2 picks up Anubhav after he has gone through a painful split-up with Zoya. He is still struggling with the defeat and that forms the ‘what happens next’ part of this book. Saloni however, is another character introduced in this sequel who seems to brighten up his otherwise dull life. From mere hellos, the two progress to serious discussions, giving Anubhav an opportunity to love once again.

The writing skills of the author are flawless and this is the first time I was introduced to a Hinglish version of the book so I really enjoyed reading it.

Anubhav's character is depicted with an unfiltered touch portraying his weaknesses, fears and evolution. The transformation from pain to solace is very natural and human. Saloni, however, is a star which shines above representing hope and new beginnings. The characters are convincing and they interact and grow in an interesting way without appertaining to the far-fetched plot devices.

I will definitely recommend this book to people who love reading romance and if you have ever experienced heart-break then this book is perfect for you. It also goes through themes like self-love and self-discovery. So grab your copy today and you will definitely enjoy reading it as much as I did.

"Why Not Me?-2" is a book on the heartfelt journey of the agony and pain of unrequited love by Anubhav Agrawal. This is book which will resonate the audience who have ever experienced heartbreak, and honestly who has not?

Anubhav's journey restarts as he tries to heal from his breakup with Zoya but who said healing was easy? Just when he thinks that it feels difficult to break the trap, Saloni enters his life like a hope and chance at love again. But, you know matters of heart are not that simple.

Honesty is the strength of this book. Anubhav has written this book in English and hence, the words reach the soul as author keeps sharing his fears, insecurities and vulnerability. Saloni as a character is a symbolism of hope and new beginnings. Readers will relate to the discussions and questions people have in relationships, when they are not able to move on and how it makes them feel.

I particularly liked the character development and also Anubhav's close to reality - flawed and real. The writing captures emotions beautifully. Since, the book is in English a lot of wider audience might need it in English alone but for Indian readers - it is a good read.

In this book, the author delves deeply into the complex emotions of heartbreak and the often challenging journey toward healing and moving on. Anubhav, finds himself grappling with the aftermath of his painful breakup with Zoya. As he navigates this difficult period, Saloni steps into his life.

However, the narrative takes unexpected turns as fate throws new challenges at their budding relationship, testing their resilience and commitment to each other.
The author skillfully captures Anubhav's raw emotions throughout the story, portraying the tumultuous process of growing up and facing one's fears and insecurities. This heartfelt tale is not just about the pain of loss, but also about the strength it takes to overcome those obstacles and emerge stronger.

A HINGLISH book where the writing and words are in English, but you read it in Hindi. Honestly, for me the book felt like a heartfelt chat with my bestie, so relatable as if the author is directly talking to you.
The book is mostly about love, heartbreak, and self-discovery of the author’s and resonates deeply with readers like me who have experienced the highs and lows of life and love. The author’s vulnerability and pain hit the right chords and his words serve as a mirror to our own emotional turmoil’s.
