Allah: Measuring the Intangible

Rate this book
Allah Measuring the Intangible by Uxi Mufti explores the intersection of science, spirituality, and the concept of God in Islam. Uxi Mufti, a prominent cultural scholar, seeks to bridge the gap between the tangible world of scientific knowledge and the intangible realm of spirituality. The book delves into how Islamic teachings, particularly those concerning Allah, can be understood in the light of modern scientific inquiry. By addressing concepts such as the universe, creation, and the human soul, Uxi Mufti aims to provide a framework that allows readers to appreciate the depth and complexity of the divine, while also engaging with the contemporary quest for knowledge. It is both a philosophical and spiritual examination that challenges conventional boundaries between religion and science.

I picked up this book while I was looking for talaash by mumtaz mufti. The book store did not have talaash at that time so i picked this one up hoping to fulfill the curiosity I had when I saw the cover. Needless to say the book is very well written. I have read both English and Urdu versions and I must say both get the job done very well. The subject is very unique and dangerous considering the conditions of some "muslim communities" especially in Pakistan so naturally the author seems very careful and conserved at times. Author sometimes contradicts with himself when he feels he is on the edge of the subject. This book provides an excellent reply to Richard Dawkins work. Although the book seems divided in traditional, islamic and scientific meanings of the subject. I hope the author will some day go deep into the scientific endeavors of the subject without worrying about our cultural and so called religious restrictions which in my opinion are purely constructed by these fanatics known as ''mullahs and moulvis''. its a thought provoking read if you are not afraid to explore.

Difficult unique experience of scientific search of ALLAH.
To feel and find possible glimpse into divine reality of ALLAH one has to rise all above basic instinct. Purification of vision and it's ultimate expansion to higher level of understanding where paradox vision can coexist is the prime point to grasp physical expression of ALLAH.
Context is complex and repetitive through different fields of knowledge to reach central point.
All major influential concepts of physics, quantum physics, psychology, parapsychology, religious history, philosphy, chemistry, biology ,sociology and political theories are used to describe epitome of human mind central quest to find unanswered beginning of life.
Flight from self to selfless evolution of mind is key to receive tangible concept of ALLAH.
Thorough study of 99 Isma ul Husna and sincere practice of ALLAH 's characteristics in practical life that are depicted in his name can rise consciousness to reach beyond space and time to knock at gates to ALLAH.
Its difficult to see divine reality and nearly impossible to record and share with common as capacity of mind is so limited to understand it.
Its purified experience which needs infinite evolution of mind to describe indescribable ALLAH.💫🕋🌠
