While attending the prestigious Eihou Ladies’ Academy, Miya certainly has her hands full as she tries to balance days filled with learning to cook, attending lectures, and studying for exams. And though she’s made a few friends, she still struggles to find her place in a school full of daughters from Japan’s most distinguished families. So when it’s announced that her class will be holding an election for class president and two of her friends are candidates, Miya learns just what it means to support the ones you care about!
Stars: 5 Stars Format: Print Series: My Stepmother and Stepsisters Aren’t Wicked Book 5 Steam Level: Not Steamy
Another wonderful installment to one of my absolute favorite series. I don’t usually read a series until all the books are out but I’m so glad I broke that rule for this.
Quick Thoughts: - I love how its Miya just being herself is what draws all these important people to her - How her family and friends genuinely love her and want the best for Miya. It makes me wiggle with joy with each page - Miya has friends! Yay! - One of the (many) cool things about this series is how these four high society upper crust ladies that everyone looks up to, are genuinely good people and adore their kids and are active in their lives - Was not expecting that ending! I’m intensely curious about what role this new character will play
Overall I just seriously love this series. My only complaint is that the last third or so of each volume is two extra side stories and not the main story. Luckily they are super cute, I’m just greedy for more of the main story.
