THIS VOLUME WAS PERFECT IT GAVE ME EVERYTHING I WANTED AND MORE AHHHHHHHH
Seriously!! On my review for volume one, I noted that I wanted Shizuku's biological dad to come into the picture, and while he was WAYYYY more of a piece of shit than I expected, I loved everything about that whole arc so much. The way Hijiki captured Naoto's trauma and fear in his emotions and appearance was so perfect, to the point where I ended up feeling anxious and terrified on his behalf... like... fuck wow...
The pacing of this volume was much better than the first volume, but I still felt as if things were a bit rushed or key moments were cut out. I understand why the mangaka may have chosen to do that, but my hurt/comfort loving soul would have loved to see more build up to most of the dramatic moments. Like, as much as I am praising Hijiki being able to capture Naoto's trauma, the follow up scenes felt fairly aggressive and rushed, and didn't quite fit the fearful tone that had previously been set. Overall I think it worked for the characters, but I think if there had been a bit more space between each major scene, the emotional build and release could have been much stronger.
Other than the main plot arc of this volume, I really enjoyed getting to see Naoto and Hazuki interacting, especially Hazuki learning how to be a parent and protect his family. TBH, I am not the kind of person who is usually into family dynamics or children, but I am really loving how the four of them all interact, and I am eager to see what is in store for them in the future.

Man, when Ha-kun said that he wouldn't punch the abuser because his hands only serve to protect his family etc. that was so freaking wholesome.
I love this so much, I can only wonder why I left this halfway finished before. I love their family dynamics!! And the granny!!! Augh, this is just too precious, and yes, I did cry!! And my overflowing adoration for the cover art too!
Btw, the asshole deserves all the punches he got.

Anyway the way I CRIED. I binge read this series at 2am and I was just choking back tears at the end of this volume. I'm just so happy for them and it's SO CUTE. I already want to reread. This volume follows Naoto's and Hazuki's new relationship as mates and their life as a family with their new addition. It's so incredibly sweet. Love love love.
This volume was also kind of infuriating though because we meet Naoto's main attacker/Shizuku's probably real dad and god what an awful human. I love that the author left a note at the end saying "there's nothing redeeming about this horrible man." Loved the way it got solved though. He got what he deserved. Love Hazuki's mom. She's that bitch.
One thing I will say is I love how these volumes wrap up. All the plots are basically wrapped up by the end. Like they could end here, but it's definitely open for more and I'm glad we get more :')

malgré mon avis mitigé sur le premier volume je trouve ce second tome intéressant et ne regrette pas d'avoir continué ma lecture.
Naoto et Minato forment maintenant une famille qui s'est d'ailleurs agrandie avec un nouvel arrivant !
tout aurait pu aller mieux si ce n'est le retour du passé (et traumas) de Naoto.
les enfants.. ma faiblesse. mais une chose qui m'insupporte dans l'omegaverse est : la justification du viol. bien que j'aime ce genre d'univers ça reste difficile de supporter des scènes de violences justifiées par "être en chaleur". ici, le personnage est clairement traumatisé.

4.50 Stop being so cute!
The first volume ended with the protagonists happily starting their lives together and with the extra scenes it was clear something would be changing soon enough (also, super sexy breeding scene). In this new volume we found a family of four, Naoto and Hazuki have made Minato together, Shizuku is an amazing big sister. Minato is just TOO cute and honestly, I don't think I had half the patience Naoto and Shizuku have with my own children. But it's so good to see little children truly showered with love, we should all have had that.
This arc is about growth, it also feels lighter than the first one. A lot of domesticity. Hazuki is studying, working and feeling insecure as a new dad. Naoto still thinks too much of himself as an inconvenience to everyone but has the chance to grow a lot, as a person and as a partner. The home bliss and the safety he has with Hazuki helps him get stronger, leave shame and worries behind him more and more. Communication is a big theme here, I liked how both the daughter and the partner didn't leave Naoto get away with just faking he was ok.
The painful past showing up in a position of power...I could have broken him in two myself, nothing redeemable about that character. Hazuki and his mother have dealt with him wonderfully, plus that story line provided the chance for a great scenes with Naoto really standing up for himself and his family. Again, great side charachters, way to go moms!
The cheesiest lines here were from Hazuki but they were also sooo lovely all is forgiven. Long live the fluff, protection instinct and the sweetest proposal!
Is the sex still good? Yes, thank you very much. I'll have a triple of that, please. Even with the the genitals looking like...light sabers, of sorts? You'll have to check it out to understand what I mean. Still...grrrr. Also, kudos to Hazuki for always being so eager, Naoto is still often shy so it balances out perfectly. Someone must convince Naoto that's it's ok to kiss in front of the children :-)
I only wish the pregnancy and delivery had been shared with the readers, I really wanted to see how Hazuki's reactions so badly.

Eu amoo esse manga, não vejo a hora de ler o volume 3, que fiquei sabendo que está em andamento, assim espero, eu adorei a história, e gostaria de ver mais sobre a vida deles, e um pouco da vida das crianças, e mais um ou dois filhos entre eles.. Happy reading, and until the netx reading..

This series has no right to be this good, and I loved the family-building aspects as well as the way that Naoto was able to face his rapist and come out stronger.

Questo secondo volume mi ha lasciato un po' interdetta, rispetto al primo. Il primo mi ha lasciato di più, facendomi anche emozionare di più.
I personaggi mi sono piaciuti molto, come anche le relazione, ma è come se mancasse qualcosa.
Ho questa sensazione che sia tutto troppo velocizzato, e questo mi porta a lasciarmi con qualche pezzo🥲.
Come sta accadendo con un altro manga che sto leggendo.
Sono follemente innamorata degli slow burn? Si.
Non ho trovato nessuna scena da evidenziare😓.
Spero che il terzo mi trasporti di più nel suo mondo.

Este volumen me ha gustado un poco menos que el anterior, pero la historia sigue estando buena. En las primeras páginas presenta un arco breve sobre la dificultad de cuidar niños pequeños que me hubiera gustado que tuviera más desarrollo. El arco principal se apoya en una coincidencia, algo usual en la ficción, pero el problema que le encuentro es que ya cuando aparecen las primeras imágenes es predecible de quien se trata y, además, la resolución del conflicto en realidad ocurre muy rápido. Hubiera sido bueno que Shizuku no hubiera contado nada y que las cosas se hayan desenvuelto de otra manera.

This continues to be my favorite Omegaverse. Naoto is so strong and brave; I have nothing but love for him. Hazuki also remains such an amazing partner and father; he will literally do anything for them. I adore seeing how fierce he becomes when he's protecting them. This whole family is just so precious, including Hazuki's mom, who is not just a powerful businesswoman, but a nurturing mother to both her own son and Naoto, and an adoring grandmother. I love the ending of this, and can't wait to see what's next for all of them.

Hazuki's mom was the star for book 2. If not for her and of course Shizuku, I might have drop this. Naoto was still insecure even though he and Hazuki have been together for three years and even had a son. He kept worrying that he's trouble to everyone around him. So, he bottle up his problems which of course was the biggest problem. And like I mentioned, Hazuki's mom was the star. She assured Naoto that as family, Naoto had Hazuki and her as backup. That was one cool mother in-law.

So this was very cute too but had a little more drama then the first volume. I personally prefer the first volume but enjoyed this too.
This got a little less because everything in this was super predictable, which got me a little bored by the story. However the end was sugar sweet and I loved it.

YAY! Their family grew!! A new, cute baby has been added to the sweet + lovely family!
A little bit more plot than the first season about Naoto's past. But the sweetness is never ending!! 3 Stars because of the somewhat predictable plot but 4 "rounded up" Stars because of the kids, couple and the whole family!

If this wasn't the CUTEST thing I have ever read. I read this volume immediately upon finishing the first one, and though I can't necessarily say that one is better than the other, I can say this volume shares the same strengths. It not only emphasizes the importance of healthy relationships, but also tackles huge issues like past sexual trauma and fear, which yaoi often overlooks. I appreciated the development of main characters Naoto and Hazuki, as well as Hazuki's mother as the passionate and caring grandmother. The story was a logical extension of the first volume, and also answers some important questions about Naoto's past and his trauma that needed to be resolved. Loved this book and LOVE this little family.

Difícil escollir quin és el meu omegaverse preferit: Kirai de Isasete o Megumi & Tsugumi. Aquest m'encanta pels personatges, la seva evolució, la relació tan sana que tenen (però que té punts de millora, com totes), la química de la parella protagonista i el fet que el drama està ben integrat a la trama i no sembla un recurs barat per allargar el xiclet. Tot i que l'inici del primer volum va un pèl embalat, després agafa un ritme més assossegat i s'atura a explorar les implicacions del segon gènere en aquesta societat. Els rols alfa-omega són força versemblants i no queden reduïts a una caricatura, com passa amb altres històries omegaverse. Per últim, els volums avancen amb ritme i lògica perquè els temes que es van introduint estan ben integrats a la història, són rellevant i van progressant amb els personatges. Shikuzu t'estimem ♥
