Once again M A Comley produces another book of the highest quality, Vanished.
A young woman in her prime, Jessica Harding, an upcoming solicitor disappears in the depth of darkness at night and with any such disappearance, questions are high. For DI Sara Ramsey and DS Carla Jameson they are initially baffled as this young woman seems to have led a normal life. But as they delve deeper into her world, we discover that Jessica may have had reasons to leave her everyday life behind.
Of course, the first suspect is always the husband, but this is dismissed relatively early opening the book up to absorb the reader in an extremely engaging storyline. We soon find out there is much more to Jessica and as always with people hiding secrets, these can put your life in grievous danger, especially when you are dealing with powerful, ruthless people who wish you to be silent.
Extremely well thought out characters enhance the book, and I have to say I especially have a soft spot for Jeff, an emotive human being that at times touched my heart.
As always with this author, she has an innate ability to take the reader on a deliciously relentless and indefatigable journey that once again captivated my attention throughout. Another winner completed with extremely satisfying ending for the reader.

Wow !! I read this book in one go because I just couldn’t put it down.
When Jessica Harding disappeared there were no clues on the ground for DI Sara Ramsey & her partner Carla Jameson to go on. When a second abduction occurred they were even more baffled to try & find out who the perpetrators were.
With every move they made someone else seemed to be always one step ahead !!!
An inside mole is the only possible explanation, but where to begin looking?
I’m sure when you get to the last pages of this fantastic book you will be as stunned as I was !!!

This book is fast paced and so many twists and turns. You will be thinking one thing and then you find out so much more. The team worked hard together with this case.

Not sure if her marriage can be saved, Jessica has now gone missing. Has she left of her own accord, or has something sinister happened to her?
With Sara, Carla, and the team looking for Jessica, the team takes on an incredulous case.
I have no idea how the author comes up with her plots for her books, but my heart was in my mouth … again!
The story brought out many emotions in me, and one part in particular left me gobsmacked.
A well-thought-out story that had some great red herrings to keep me guessing throughout.
With Sara, Carla, and the team looking for Jessica, the team takes on an incredulous case.

What starts as the disappearance of Jessica Harding turns out to be the event that rocks the very core of the police station where Sara and Carla work from. But I get ahead of myself...
Jessica, on the face of things, is the last person who anyone expects to up and leave so there must be something else going on. She is a solicitor so could it be something to do with one of her cases? Sara and Carla are initially completely flummoxed so they open it all up and literally throw mud at everything even tenuously connected to see if anything sticks. Until something eventually does, and boy is it something... something, the repercussions of which will send shock waves, affecting everyone, even me!
Oh my days, really how does this author keep doing this with each new book released, She hits it out of the park Every Single Time. Each time I think she can't get any better, she surprises me! Where does she come up with this stuff?
And then, with a cracking idea, she fits it with the already brilliant characters which, in this case, have already had 25 previous, just as exciting outings, which I am sure you have all already read.
And all delivered in the same no nonsense way she always delivers - with absolutely no additional superfluous waffle or padding, which means that the story get on with itself very well indeed.
All in all, another cracking addition to not only a brilliant series but also a rather impressive, and bulging back catalogue... Roll on next time!

With each book in the series I keep applauding the author for coming up with new types of cases that seem to be the teams toughest one yet but my goodness, hands down, this one beats them all!
When Jessica goes missing the team aren’t sure what to make of it. She doesn’t appear to be the type of person just to take off on her own and it doesn’t take long for Sara to uncover there is definitely more to it than meets the eye. In some ways it felt like a fairly straight forward case but I never could have imagined the turns that the story takes.
It’s very much a case of team work as this could potentially be the biggest case that they have ever worked on. The story was full on, not relenting for one moment with so many twists and turns that it made it impossible to put the book down. I love Jeff and he certainly deserves a promotion and I’m hoping he isn’t waiting too long with all the effort he puts in helping Sara and her team.
Vanished was a pulse pounding story with lots of shocking twists. One in particular literally floored me! My heart was in my mouth through out as the sense of danger escalates the closer to the truth the team gets. A totally thrilling, fast paced read that will have you hanging on for dear life!

I think I might say this with almost every book, but surely this is MA Comley's best book, or at least the best book in the DI Sara Ramsey series.
I'm open mouthed with shock at how everything was resolved. This feels like is a book that is potentially going to affect the dynamics of the series going forward, and I'm already eager to see just what the next book will bring.
And this has to be by far one of the most complicated and high profile cases that Sara and Carla have ever dealt with and I was totally there for it.
There is so much going on, and I was totally addicted. I was hooked on every last revelation and there were definitely gasps of shock at points too.
Just utterly fabulous, I can't get enough of this author and this series! Bring on the next book!

Brilliant - unputdownable - a masterpiece of intrigue
All is never as it seems to the observer. Two people, both with excellent careers, living in a state of the art property, both enjoying their best lives - but are they? Is there something more to the marriage and perfect lifestyle? The wife suddenly vanishes - has she walked out or been abducted? Nobody appears to know. The obvious suspect is the husband but, the more that Sara and her team investigate, the more complicated the case becomes and, still, the wife appears to be untraceable and feats grow for her safety and that of her unborn child. So many twists, turns and shocks and the biggest revelation of all is at the end.

Once I started this book, I couldn't let it go and read it at every opportunity I could.
Jessica a Solicitor suddenly, during the night vanished leaving her car behind at home.
D.I.Sarah Ramsey and her hard working team, start to look into Jessica's life, and her husband is the main suspect to start with. Things are not as expected. So many twists and turns develop and lead to shocking events.
Can D.I.Sarah Ramsey and her team work through everything and find and save Jessica and her unborn baby in time?
The end is something I didn't expect at all and cannot to read the next book by MA Comley.

Will they manage to unravel it all before it’s too late and have they bitten off more than they can chew! And the ending…oh my! Didn’t see that coming. Another belter and hard to put down.

What a book from start to finish……..this is a defo page turner & a fantastic crime novel, twists & turns all over the place, the ending wasn’t what I was expecting but go DI Sara Ramsey, I can’t wait to see what happens in her next book. Wow just wow, not sure how Mel comes up with these stories but I’m so glad she does, I love them & all the characters.

Best Sara Ramsey yet!
This book had a bit slower start than the rest of the series. However, the ending was spectacular. The in between was so good that I stayed up three nights through to rush to the end. Now I want to read it all over again.

This book moves so quickly I found myself holding my breath at times. A kidnapping that leaves you unsure as to if it happened then everything takes off at pace! So many twists and turns, I loved it.
