Subversive Socks

Rate this book
Think knitting socks is boring? Tabetha Hedrick and her team of five fellow designers have just the antidote for you. The delicately lacy “Bite Me” socks are just the beginning, as Subversive Socks guides you through 14 patterns to express your anarchist tendencies, your bodily processes, your naughty exhibitionism – even your profane disgust.

You’ll have to see the projects to believe them. You have been warned. Now go get your damn sticks and string and let’s cast on.

Featuring patterns by Tabetha Hedrick, Rebecca Blair, Mara Marzocchi, Josie Mercier, Stefanie Pollmeier, and Jill Wright.

I'm not a chart fan, but obviously they are helpful/needed to show how some projects are set up. The charts are great in this book. Contains "foul" or "dirty" words :) plus illusion designs. I am anxious to make anything out of this book but, I especially want to knit the F*€K socks.

This is certainly not the same boring scarves, sweaters, and mittens! Yes, some patterns contain "dirty words" but the brown paper wrapper is indicative of the naughtiness. I can not wait to use every pattern in this book but especially the Bitch one. Anyone who finally wants to knit something fun, this is for you.
