I couldn't put it down. I stayed up til 1AM!! Very rich and sumptuous with lavish details. You're going to love it!! The hardest part is choosing your fantasy man! I want to be one of these lucky ladies!!!!
What is not to like about this book?? Romance, love, insecurities, money, sexy as hell men, powerful women, money, mystery, desire, loneliness....so many words I could list about this book!! I loved the book from the beginning...3 different stories tied into one!! I couldn't put this book down and it was a well deserved book hangover!! Christy Pastore ROCKS and I totally fell in love with her as an author!
It was the best decision to re-read this awesome book!!!! I'm still sooo happy about my decision! First of all it was awesome to experience the story of Fifteen Weekends again! I discovered a few things I hadn't notice when I read it the first time. Of course Christy Pastore is a pure genius! I love that you've got 3 stories in one book! Every lovely heroine of Fifteen Weekends has her own story but all 3 stories are somehow connected to each other. It's soooo good! And all those gorgeous men in the book! Oh my! Christy knows how to create handsome men! Wow! Well my favourite is Liam for sure! But Ethan isn't that bad either! Hmmm... and the mysterious Vince! Or Alex? Oh and what about Craig? Okay you see you've a lot to discover because Fifteen Weekends is full of romance, drama, suspense and of course you've got a lot of HOT scenes too! Just fall in love with the stories of Ashleigh, Emily and Amanda and choose your favourite man! ;) ♡ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
First review May 27 (2014): I won an ARC by Pen Name Publishing and was sooo happy about it because I have never won something before! Of course I was totally excited about reading it but wasn't sure when to start. So at this weekend it was DEFINITELY the time for it!
While I was reading I was kinda like: Awwwwwww! Oh my... <3 Awwww why are these men so damn hot?! Awwwwwww! Woah it's getting hot in here! WTH is …. doing there?! OMG! OH MY GOODNESS! Awwwww that's SOOOO CUTE! OMG! OMG! OMG! Are you serious?! Okay, okay that's good! Much better! Nooooooo why is it over now?!
All in all there were so many ups and downs that it felt like a ride on a rollercoaster. But it was totally worth this ride! I really loved it and I'll definitely read it again and again and again!
You'll get to know 3 beautiful strong women & 3 handsome successful men in their stories. This book will make you swoon and laugh and cry and let you think about your own life because it's too short to waste time with nonsense. ;) Oh and of course you'll totally fall in love with the characters!
So what do you want more? I want MORE of it! :D
Edit: I'm sure I'll NEVER EVER be able to choose my FAV of these men. They're all just too awesome to choose ONE!
Christy Pastore seamlessly carries us through both the intertwined and separate lives of her characters, while fluidly transitioning from past and present - so, well, in fact, that you lose yourself entirely in the wonderfully written storyline. Continuing on from chapter to chapter, you never lose sight of the characters and their stories, and are excited to enjoy the ride along with them; eager to turn the page to continue the journey.
The characters are as well described as their stories. You will see a bit of yourself in one, or all three, leading ladies. And the men...three leading men - PLUS an additional two more supporting characters - tantalize our senses, making it difficult to choose just one favourite!
Translation: Fifteen Weekends is the PERFECT summer read, full of fabulous characters and hot book boyfriends that range on the hotness scale from 'swoon-worthy gentlemen with an accent' to 'extremely handsome mystery man' [and everywhere in between for good measure].
First I want to start by saying this book could not have a more PERFECT release date because this authors debut (although you wouldn't know because she writes like a seasoned pro) is the definition of a summer read! I LOVED it! Fifteen Weekends hits all the marks. It was so fresh and fun, definitely sexy and the author throws in the perfect amount of mystery to really keep you interested. And the reader gets almost 3 books in 1! Each of the characters own story helps keep the pace moving and before you know it the book is over and you will have A MAJOR book hangover. I literally finished in one sitting because I just could not put it down. I loved each character's story and especially liked how the author managed to write 3 female characters that did not annoy the hell out of me because they were too whiny or weak or self-loathing. FINALLY! That was so refreshing! Christy Pastore brings you 3 sexy as hell men (it is almost impossible to pick a favorite), 3 confident and spunky women (not to mention well dressed...I love when an author can work their fashion knowledge seamlessly into a novel) and 3 stories that will keep you on edge and guessing until the end. When you buy it just make sure you have cleared your day...Just trust me on this one.
Fifteen Weekends is a fantastic read! I sat down to enjoy the highly anticipated debut novel by Christy Pastore and the next thing I knew, I was done!
I found myself thoroughly engrossed in the lives of Ashleigh, Emily and Amanda – Each woman’s story interconnected, yet all experiencing and dealing with their own internal wars {of fear, doubt, loss, self-worth, insecurity, passion, lust, etc.}. And, let’s not forget the HOT MEN in their lives who inspire all kinds of sexy emotions!
The fluidity with which Christy transitioned from one heroin to the next was fantastic and kept me engaged and intrigued as to what would happen next. I connected with the leading ladies on several levels – each struggling with real-life happenstances for which us ladies muddle through each and every day. I found myself rooting for each of them and their subsequent love interests; feeling a myriad of emotions along the way!
I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND Fifteen Weekends. A MUST READ that you should added to your summer reading list. Bravo Christy Pastore!
I was lucky enough to get an ARC copy of "Fifteen Weekends". LOVED IT!!! It had me grinning all day, laughing out loud and I cried a little too. I'd say the perfect summer book, but because you won't stop reading it is the perfect weekend book. It was a sexy, delightful read that kept me interested and excited to see what happens next. Thanks so much Christy Pastore for giving us Liam, Ethan and Vince to drool over!!
Pen Name Publishing is a fairly new publishing company and I signed up for the early reading club, so this was given to me as a read and review copy. I will try my best to write a review that doesn't sound like I'm high on mushrooms or something.
I don't read romances very much, I have two or three romance novels that I picked purely because they happen to take place during historical events like, The Piano Teacher by Janice Y.K. Lee or This Burns My Heart by Samuel Park. So I guess I can say I'm interested in Historical Romance Fiction. So this book was definitely out of my comfort zone and I'm not afraid to say that. So let's go, wait the synopsis, I need it, it's too long, but I don't want to mess up the plot thing: The past, it can haunt you…It can consume you…have a hypnotic hold on your mind, body and soul. The past can keep you from moving on…holding your heart hostage.
The past, can also bring you closure…provide answers you never knew you needed to, mysteries you never thought existed…and the past, can force you to look at your current choices in an entirely different light.
Is that good enough?
Anyway, so about this book... I like it. It's not my type of thing but I liked it. It's humorous, fluffy, sparkly, pink, yet at the same with all that rain and thunder, it's freaking dark and deep inside there's a lunatic lurking. There were times when I was reading this book where I wondered if all the talk of riches and fancy stuff was a parody because it was a lot of chicks talking about their Gucci and their Jimmy Choo. I was actually thinking of a book I never read yet, American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis. Whoever reads this is going to look at me like I'm an ass... I'm assuming that it isn't and I just don't read a lot of books about rich people? These aren't negatives comments.
The characters go through a cycle of development. Ashleigh goes from mourning and lonely to hopeful and in love. Emily is probably the one with the least problems until she meets Ethan, who goes from asshole to lover beast and Amanda falls into a pit of her own confusing heart. They regret, they love, they hate, they forgive, pretty real and relateable. I can't say I can relate to the characters because I'm literally a young college student who doesn't have tons of money or dudes.
So there are times when I felt this book was a little shallow, because you know materials and all the shiny, pink stuff. No, it isn't, it's actually more than that. A tale of revenge and forgiveness, of changing and moving on. It's a real, human romance novel, with salty, bitter, and sweet rain.
Loved this book! Christy did an excellent job of pulling you into each character's life and keeping you wanting more. Each time I finished a chapter, I was like..."Wait!!!! Don't stop it there!!!!" And it kept me wanting to keep reading, chapter after chapter. Each character has their own unique story to share, and without giving any of it away, she did a great job of capturing their lives and keeping them intertwined, yet separate. Definitely a summer read I recommend. Great job Christy!
I had a great time reading Fifteen Weekends. Christy does a great job with character and story development. The tale had so many moments that made me smile and others that had me at the edge of my seat. I highly recommend this to the reader who is looking for something to spice up their summer reading list. Great job Christy, I cannot wait to read the next installment in the series!
Fifteen Weekends was great fun to read – at times it could be light, flirty (probably an understatement…) and romantic but then it was also darker with some good twists mixed in. The three main women, Ashleigh, Emily and Amanda were very different, some more likeable than others but all their stories were interesting to read.
I loved how the characters developed throughout the book. Right from the beginning, I’d made up my mind on them and their motives but the author did an excellent job at messing up those pre-conceived notions! I really didn’t know who to trust – there were a couple of characters (I won’t name them) who I thought were complete jerks at the beginning and then throughout the book, kept changing my mind.
Also, I don’t really like to admit it since from the author’s bio, she’s not a fan of predictable books but I did think this book was going to head that way. So I took a lot of satisfaction out of the frustration I was getting not knowing what was going on. I am aware that makes no real sense but at the beginning, I had really convinced myself of the way everything was going and then nothing worked out that way and I was so pleased! Unless I really was just too slow to keep up.
There were quite a few breaks in plot to tell us what characters were wearing but I guess that was to be expected since the author runs a fashion blog. I also felt at the beginning, the book seemed like it was trying too hard to be up-to-date by name-checking and using a lot of social networking sites. Right in the first chapter, we have Foursquare, Facebook and Twitter which felt all a bit too much but they were used better and felt more relevant as the book went on.
Fifteen Weekends was a captivating book combining three intriguing stories into one. I loved Emily’s story the most as it really kept my attention and I was never sure how it was going to turn out but when Emily, Ashleigh and Amanda’s stories overlapped a bit more, this book really excelled. Love, betrayal, sex and more make Fifteen Weekends a great contemporary romance novel to take with you on your Summer holidays.
FINALLY! Something different than all the other repetitive bullshit out there! Bravo, Miss Pastore! And this book was published two years ago? I can't believe it sat on my kindle for so long.
Three stories that intertwined, at first I wasn't sure how this was going to work, but it totally did.
I think Ashleigh and Liam's story was my favorite - it was a friends to lovers story. Ethan and Emily's story was layered - angst, drama, and suspense. LOVED the twist!!!
Amanda's story, this woman. The author's development of this character was perfection. I really liked the story, I understood the push and pull that Amanda felt. This was a character that had been put through the wringer almost losing herself and her identity completely. Amanda's biggest flaw is that she is her own worst enemy.
The thing I liked about this book was that there were elements of literature. SO MUCH SYMBOLISM. I feel like sitting through all those years in British Lit and American Lit paid off. LOL :)
For a romance novel this was done well. It was a quick read, but if you skipped something you missed the point Fifteen Weekends conveyed.
Third person POV, this writing style is a difficult task, most people can't compute the verbiage. But, the author did a very good job. I was impressed.
A cliffhanger at the end, BUT the author has THREE free stories on her website that tie up a few loose ends. Including where Vince, Amanda and Alex are concerned. This would be why Alex is getting his own book in Bound to Me.
I hope you will all check this one out, it was a great read. Slight editing errors, but nothing that detracts from the story. No overuse of "!!!" Grownup conversations and some wit.
Christy Pastore did an incredibly amazing job with a 3 storyline in one book. At first I didn't know if I would fall behind and get confused, but it flowed seamlessly throughout the book. I love how it keeps you hooked from the beginning as well as keeps you guessing with all the twists that you never saw coming and trust me you'll be just as shocked as I was at some of the revelations that were revealed. I had a hard time putting it down and would often stay up late reading it.
I found myself relating more to Ashleigh and Emily who I absolutely love and adore. They felt like old friends. I feel bad for saying this but couldn't find any sympathy or love for Amanda. I didn't care too much for her. She just annoyed me and I didn't care for how she treated Emily and Ashleigh and it seemed she wasn't happy unless she was back to the rich lifestyle that she always lived.
It was hard to decide between sexy welsh Liam Frost and Ethan Carlson as my favorite book boyfriend. Both are equally sweet and sexy and I was envious of Ashleigh and Emily! Liam and his sexy accent is enough to make any girl swoon. Leave it to Christy to up the hotness factor and bring in sexy Craig Walker who's Emily's ex boyfriend. Swoon! I definitely see a love triangle in the next book of Weekend Series.
The sizzling hot sex scenes will make you want to take a cold shower afterward! I think the pages in my e-reader would actually melt! Fifteen Weekends is the kind of book that should definitely be at the top of the list of books to read this summer. This is one book I'll be reading more than once!
Fifteen Weekends was a light, romantic and fun story, a true contemporary romance about a group of three friends, told from several different POV’s.
This book also had some darker moments, especially marked by the near-constant thunder and impending storms in the background. It was great to read a book from a writer that I wasn’t familiar with and I loved getting lost in the world of Ashleigh, Amanda and Emily. And their men!! They were each very different, but yet all had at least one trait or experience that most women could probably relate to…. Family dysfunction, work headaches, and the boyfriend who left who might have been the love of your life.
The author beings a fresh voice to contemporary romance. I had preconceived notions about each of these characters and the male characters as well but there turned out to be quite a few surprises in this story! The guys are all pretty swoon worthy and the storyline took lots of unexpected twists and turns. Ms. Pastore also has an incredible eye for detail and description which draws you right into the story.
All in all, Fifteen Weekends is a great bit of escapist reading, a wonderful contemporary romance story about a close group of friends and their trials and tribulations on the way to their own happy endings. I really liked the author’s writing style and look forward to reading more from her in the future!
Not your typical romance when one man meets one woman and there are a bunch of obstacles in their way, Fifteen Weekends follows a group of twenty-somethings in their pursuit of love, friendship and fun. With a number of twists and turns, inevitably connecting the crew in one way or another, this story is pretty hard to put down.
The characters are well developed and each scene is painted in detail, making it easy to visualize the whole story unfold. Ashleigh is such a well-thought out woman with hang-ups that made me empathize with her and her journey.
At first, I thought Liam would be my favorite, but I was quickly won over by Ethan (and Emily) ... And their story was left open! Woohoo....A debut novel for Pastore, I am hoping she comes back to some of the characters and fills us in on a few of the loose ends.
You know how much fun it is to get lost in the interwoven lives of the great ensemble cast of your favorite television show? Well, reading Fifteen Weekends is just like that. Excited anticipation that builds for next week’s show is what I felt at the end of each chapter.
The book follows the love interests and life connections of three twenty-somethings named Ashleigh, Emily, and Amanda. With each chapter, the focus shifts among them. Pastore skillfully weaves an intricate web of carefully timed plot revelations and character details. It’s one of those books that you will want to go back and read again just to make sure you didn’t miss anything.
I have to say, I’m hooked! I want to know what happens next for these three ladies. (Not to mention the hot guy who shows back up at the end. Hmmm…intriguing!)
Very unique stylistic choice and it works. Part Pulp Fiction and part Six Degrees of Separation, Pastore weaves together the lives and loves of three woman and their very different alpha men to paint a steamy portrait of the complexities of modern love. The book deals surprisingly well with balancing such very different issues with relationships and combining them all into a continuously overlapping story enables the characters and the issues to play off of each other so that the single stories become a larger more meaningful story. An excellent debut novel and a worthy read.
What can I say other than Bravo! Christy Pastore for Fifteen Weekends!
This book has everything, romance, lust, suspense, sexy men and beautiful women. Once I started reading the book I never wanted to put it down. I got so involved with the characters and their stories. I loved how they each had their own story lines but also were a part of each others as well. This is a Must read! I do have a favorite sexy man (Liam) but you ladies can pick your own or pick them all.
Christy Pastore you are a awesome author !! Cant wait for your next book !
This is a good read for sure. Characters braided together with hot men too! Always a plus. Expect the unexpected. Twists with a twist!
I gave this a 4 star review because I struggled with the 3rd POV. That's not my cup of tea, BUT don't let it deter you! You won't want to miss this read & you won't want to put it down.
Overall: once you get used to the POV you will be sucked in and not let go until the last drop. This is definitely a book I recommend.
OKAY I COULDNT NOT STOP READING THIS DAMN BOOK. AND GOT NOTHING DONE TODAY BUT IT WAS SO DAMN WOETH IT. ITS THE FIRST BOOK IN READ IN A WHILE THAT HOOKED ME FROM THE START AND COULDNT STOP. YOU WILL LAUGH CRY AND SCREAM MAYBE THROW UR KINDLE BUT U WILL FALL IN LOVE WITH THESE CHARATERS IT WRITEN EAY TO READ AND VERY FLOWING BOOK EVERYONE SHOULD READ THIS BOOK NOW!!!!
The story is rich full of detail that I couldn't put it down! Three women who have their pasts are allowed the chance to find love and lust. The book has a good flow and the men featured are scrumptious. Do yourself a favor and read this book!
I loved this. As a reader who loves crazy I loved the crazy pace and back and forth of this book. This is not only a story about the summer it's about each of these lovelies who have their own faults and shortcomings, hell they are human. We are shuffled between them so quickly at points that yes I had to go back and make sure of who I was reading about but the story is so well written I didn't mind. I have read a couple of this authors books and I may just have to read more. I love the failings and the successes, the revelations and the interactions, mostly I liked that I couldn't put the book down for fear I would miss something. I do want more though since at the end I felt like it wasn't the end.
Nothing like saving the first book written as the last book read. I’ve met some of the people in this book in other books, so naturally I will have to reread those books promptly.
3 women; 3 different love stories; each one evoking a different emotion from me. Emily is probably my favourite out of the three. Can’t put my finger on why, but I felt the most connected to her. Ashleigh was fun to read. Her “a ha” moment was great. Loved it. Amanda. Oh Amanda. 20% in and I wanted you gone. But in true Christy magic, she actually made you somewhat redeemable in the end. Barely, but I didn’t hate you as much in the end.
Where to begin... Fifteen Weekends is a tale of three women that intertwine so perfectly. It is the debut novel by Christy Pastore but you would never, ever be able to tell. Her writing is so well perfected, detailed and fresh. I was slightly obsessed with Christy Pastore before even reading this book because she is an amazing person but after reading Fifteen Weekends it is safe to say I have moved on to pure fangirl status!!
So the story begins with Ashleigh, a freelance writer, who specialized in Food and Travel and the very scrumptious Liam. Ashleigh is very closed off as far as her heart is concerned because she is still trying to come to terms with a great loss. It is absolutely heartbreaking hearing Ashleigh relive her past. (Make sure you have tissues ready!!) Liam, however, is a nice distraction. He is a true gentleman. Never asking for more than he knew Ashleigh was willing to give or pushing the topic, even when his own feelings may have been in question. Together they form a very close, no strings attached relationship. Only, that may not be exactly what Liam is looking for? Will Ashleigh be able to fight off the darkness that has followed her for many years before Liam moves on? Christy takes us from past to present, piecing together their story seamlessly. There is so much more I wish I could say about their story but for fear or spoiling anything I will leave you with this... Liam is not only the perfect gentleman but he also has an accent.. Oh sweet, sweet Liam!!
Next, Christy introduces us to Emily. Enter the suspenseful part of the book. Emily's live in boyfriend just up and vanished one day and she has been working hard ever since to move on. She works as a marketing exec at a large firm and rocks at her job. Her co-worker, Ethan, however loves to give her a hard time. Think of it like you did as a child, when someone picked on you, grown ups would tell you it was because they liked you. Well, for Emily, that was exactly the case. After Ethan confessed his true feelings for Emily they begin to see each other. And boy are they HOTT together. That scene in the conference room just minutes before their meeting.. I don't know about you but I blushed through the entire chapter!! Everything isn't all sunshine and flowers, though. Emily starts receiving threats but brushes them off, thinking it must just be someone trying to rattle her cage. Was this her past coming back to haunt her or something more sinister? Ahh, I was on the edge on my seat through Emily and Ethan's whole story line. I tried to guess who the culprit behind the threats was but I can't lie, I was totally wrong! Once again, Christy delivered a captivating plot that kept me wanting more!
The third story line in the book is based on Amanda and I am not going to lie, at the beginning she was my least favorite. She was a rich girl with a charmed life who's rise to fame and luxury was shot down by a scandal that rocked not only her life but the lives of everyone she loved. On the outside, she was just your typical snob who made a bad choice but once I got to know her she definitely had some redeeming qualities. I actually found myself feeling sorry for her. While out shopping at a second hand store (a far cry from the life she was used to) she meets a man by the name of Vincent. He is not only smitten with her but filthy rich and seems to want to give Amanda back exactly what she lost those years ago. The only problem with their arraignment is Amanda may have the life she was once used to but she is lonely. History shows that Amanda makes bad decisions when she is lonely. But holy plot twist, come to find out Amanda may not be totally to blame for all of her bad decisions. Is it possible that the one person who stood by Amanda during her fall from grace was the one who was responsible for the WHOLE THING?! (Sorry for being cryptic but again I don't want to ruin anything!!) Oh, and then there is Alex... swoon... You have to read to the book to meet Alex... (he may have been my favorite man in the whole damn book!!)
I was pleasantly surprised by Fifteen Weekends! At first glance I thought it was going to be a pure romance novel but it is so much more than that! There is something to offer everyone in this book. The fact that Christy managed to make these three stories fit together so perfectly, changing the POV's just at the right second, like mini cliff hangers if you will, made this book a really enjoyable read. She never over did anything, delivering just enough to keep me wanting more. The sex scenes were perfect, the suspense was just dark enough. There was never a time that any of the story outshined the rest. My only qualm is that the second book isn't out yet!! Hurry up, would ya?? LOL! Perfectly done! Amazing! One of my favorites!
Story Line - Loved! Female Characters - Strong, Interesting Male Characters - Swoon!, Sweet, Sexy Author's Writing Style - Addicting Plot Twists - Amanda's story... OMG! Laugh Factor - fair Cry Factor - Definite Steam Factor - Oh Ethan!! Violence - Not really violent, Per Se
Fifteen Weekends is like getting three stories in one! We get to follow Amanda, Ashleigh and Emily through their ups and downs (some light, some dark) of their lives and the men that they loved and are in love with. This book is told from the three women’s POV. It did take me awhile to get into three POV’s, but once I got into the swing of things, I couldn’t stop flipping the pages fast enough.
Amanda, Ashleigh and Emily all have lost a loved one in the past and are unsure of taking a chance on getting hurt in the future. Can Vince, Liam and Ethan help them find love again? Some great twists and turns, as well as some HOT sex scenes kept me involved in the storyline.
I enjoyed reading this book but was left wondering about Ethan/Emily’s story and is there something in the works in regards to Craig/Morgan? Hoping for more books with these characters!
Three friends, three different lives - how can fifteen weekends change lives?
Since the official synopsis is rather long, I'm bringing you just one sentence to sum up this book! Why not more? Because in the end, that's all you need to know about this book from the start!
Going in, I seriously had no idea what to expect. Before getting to know Christy Pastore at a takeover she did on Facebook, I hadn't even heard of her. So I went in blind, hoping this book would be as good as the Goodreads reviews said it was!
And it held up to the promises. Why? Because between all the heart-wrenching and aching books I read, this is a really fun and light read to simply enjoy. No tissues or punching bags necessary, just a nice drink and a chair. And that's what I really liked about it - the simplicity. Don't get me wrong, I mean that far from being negative. Sometimes there is beauty in the little things in life.
So back to the book itself:
I loved the straight-forward and fast-paced story line in this book. While Pastore's style is very descriptive and very detail-oriented, it still doesn't take away from the page of the story. With page-long explanations about red cars, you might get bored after a while, but with the detail she describes rooms or surroundings, the picture you have in your head gets very clear. And i liked that. I will admit that though that I sometimes had to laugh to myself, when a Gucci purse or so was mentioned (whereas most of the stories I read would simply refer to it as a purse). You can tell where Pastore started her writing, but it in no sense took away from the pleasure of this book.
The characters this book involves are all very real. You have natural characters full of mistakes, flaws and good intentions. And there's even one character you probably won't like. But as I heard someone tell me: we all have an Amanda in our life.
The storylines are all being told in seperate POV's, and yet you will find several points where they will interact, because those three women this book is about, are friends after all. Or somewhat friends. :D
I will admit that I was a bit surprised with the sudden ending. A few storylines aren't completely finished, so I'm hoping there's gonna be a "Sixteen weekends" book. Or maybe a "Fifteen Months" book. I really don't care, as long as I get to read more.
Because this simply and entertaining book does leave some questions open that I'm sure readers would love to have answered.
Until then, enjoy it yourself if you want a nice book for the road, the plane or just a nice day on the beach!!
My love for fashion and romance stories drew me to this book. When I first read the description, I wondered how reading three love stories in one book would work. It was perfect. Fifteen Weekends takes you on the journey of Ashleigh Preston, Emily Greene, and Amanda Parsons and the men that they love.
Ashleigh is a workaholic who has a sexual relationship with Liam Frost. A relationship was not in her future. Liam was willing to have whatever kind of relationship with Ashleigh he could until things change for him.
Emily is still hung up on her ex-boyfriends sudden disappearance. She has no intention of falling in love. Little did she know that her co- worker, Ethan Carlson, would change everything for her.
Amanda Parsons develops a relationship with business man Vince Everett. Vince is a workaholic. While he is off at work, Amanda finds someone else to fill the void.
Reading their stories intertwine is perfect! It just works.
Here is a little game that the Christy asked at a launch party on Facebook - "Who would you... Marry... Kiss or Kill?" Here is my answer... Marry - Liam Kiss - Ethan Kill - Vince What will you pick?!?!?!
What do you get when you read this debut novel from Christy Pastore? You get a fabulous story that's full of suspense, romance, and scenes that will be sure to get you hot & bothered!
The suspense in this story kept me intrigued to where I did not want to put the book down - I had to know what happened next. I HAD to know "whodunnit." By the end of the story, we are given some answers, but we also get some new juicy tidbits that will make you crave the next book in the series... and quite possibly message the author to give her a piece of your mind... Or maybe that was just me. ;)
Great job by the author writing the POVs of three different women - the flow was perfect. At the end of each chapter we are left with just enough to lure you in and make you eager to get to the next chapter of that character.
Fifteen Weekends is a fun & exciting read that I thoroughly enjoyed! It's full of surprises that kept me interested and wanting more. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series! Fantastic job, Ms. Pastore!
I was given this book for my honest review. The story is of 3 ladies and their love life. One love lost, another vanished, and another was wrecked. It goes on to tell the stories of one taking a chance on love, another moving on from love, and the other finding her next big thing. There are some twist and unexpected turns along the way to keep the reader on the edge of their seat.
All I can say really is wow! Normally I am not a fan of multiple stories tied into one. However, with this book it all tied together smoothly. I was kept on the edge trying to guess what would come next! The men in this story definitely held my interest. Between Ethan, Liam and Alex, I could not pick a favorite. One thing that will stay with me is:
" even a gentleman takes his lady to pound town every now and again"
This book was a hot read with enough to keep it grounded!!! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for another book!
