Gotterhavn: Hecatomb's Prize

Rate this book
Gotterhavn. Where gods vie for dominion over each other, and immortals toil in their eternal struggle.

In a land where every person, from the kings to the slaves are naturally immortals, Viegris lost his only daughter, Olaine, to the foul hands of a sinister cult. Stricken by grief and desperation, Viegris turns to his goddess, Isalda, begging for his daughter's return from the lower realm. Yet, the goddess remains eerily silent, her presence absent.
Exasperation drives him into the clutches of dark whispers. Alongside Nyria, his lover, Viegris sets forth on a harrowing journey to seek the aid of the Death God in a pact to trade a soul for another. But what begins as a father's plea to resurrect an innocent soul unravels into a spiral of damnation. In his thirst for resurrection, he risks becoming an instrument of an ancient evil.

This dark gothic tale will drag you into a world where life, death, and the divine all bleed together, dripping with the essence of fantasy and psychological horror.

For lovers gothic tales, vampires, witchcraft, fantasy, elves, worldbuilding, and psychological horror

Writing what I want to read and what passes through my mind one strand of the very-instance at a time.
Let's be pretentious for a second...
The mind fascinates me. I want to grab the fleeting thoughts in my hand and capture the thing that only exists one second--or perhaps one millisecond, throughout the lifetime of a person, painting what others would forget as soon as they think about it.
Isn't it fascinating how one great idea could flicker in one's mind and then die just because the mind finds it unnecessary? When a diamond is lost, one could always find another, but when a thought is lost, none can retrieve it nor find anything similar to it.
Writing is to thoughts what a vault is to diamonds. And that is why I write.
