Object Hunt

Rate this book
Anya

A burden to my father. An object to be traded for business. A despicable scar on the face of the civilized society. A month ago, that’s exactly how anyone would describe me.
Little did the self-proclaimed civilized society know, I had things going on. I was willing to fight back for the first time in my life. I knew it would mean death, but I wouldn’t let another suffer the same fate I did. Not when I’m the one who’s supposed to walk her to her demise.
But then my plan failed, and now Disha’s gone. What’s worse is that they think I was leading her.
And maybe I can endure it.
But how am I supposed to endure the hatred of this sexy devil.
The one man who’s haunted my mind ever since our eyes met a few months ago.

Black

A burden to my mother. A baseborn. An unfathered scum messing up the pristine face of our civilized society. A few years ago, that’s exactly how anyone would have described me.
She always told me that I ruined her life by simply existing. Like it was my choice to be born into this ugly world. But the day I found out just how much I could change by simply existing, was the day I promised that I would be the emancipator, even if it would be in disguise of the monster that I had become.
Naksh’s agony had showed me what power vested in my hands. And I had promised to never let him down ever again.
But when Disha vanished, I failed.
Because I had failed him yet again.
There’s no extent to my guilt now. No extent to my rage. And I will burn everything down to save her – to save him.
No one will be spared.
Not even the green-eyed siren that caught my eye a few months ago.

Neyha is a dark romance reader and writer. She lives with her husband and five-year-old somewhere on the western ghats of India.

Her love for literature dates back to her childhood when she used to write short stories and poetry to get published in local magazines. Little had she known that she’d one day write and publish full fledged books of her own.

She also likes cooking and indulging in cuisines from all around the world. Being a nature lover, she has a deep devotion towards gardening. Especially when she’s taking her time off from writing morally pitch-black characters or enjoying crime-thrillers.

An amazing novella. Definitely read the first book before this one and fall for the dark world that is created.

Black… well his name suits his soul! If you haven’t tried reading Neyha work please do! I was invested immediately with what was going to happen to Anya.

This was a quick read as expected. I loved getting a glimpse into Divit/Black and Anaya's relationship and how it progressed, after getting little bits of it in Hiding From Her. Can't wait for book 3!

Gimme more!!!

PLEASE READ THE TRIGGER WARNINGS

I have always loved Black. So I was very excited when I saw that his book was next

As for Anya, she deserves the world. Nobody should go through the things she did

There is this one chapter, it's emotional and so raw. I loved it

I hated seeing Naksh and Disha suffering so much in this book. Can't wait to see how the development is in the coming books

Although it was short and to the point, it left me craving for more
Hopefully we see more of them in the next book

Let me just start by saying… you know how sometimes sequels don’t live up to the first book? Well, Object Hunt completely shattered that stereotype. It’s better than book one, and now I feel like I’m cheating on the first because, honestly? I’m head over heels for book two. 😭

Anya and Black’s banter had me grinning like an idiot with every page. Her sharp tongue never runs out of things to say, always finding ways to annoy her solnyshko. It’s the kind of back-and-forth I live for, and these two delivered every time.

I never do spoilers, but I need to talk about chapter 7. That chapter hit me so hard. The way they both broke down and laid their emotions bare? I was obsessed. It was raw, intense, and full of so much feeling, I couldn’t put the book down. I felt every single word.

And okay, confession time: I might’ve been sneaking in chapters while stuck at traffic lights (don’t do this, seriously). But this story had me so hooked I couldn’t wait to see how it all turned out. Thankfully, the ending was exactly what I hoped for. If it hadn’t been, I swear I would’ve jumped into the book to shake some sense into Black myself. 🤭

If you love a story where the FMC and MMC are dangerously obsessed and possessive while also giving us addictive banter and heart-stopping moments, this book is for you. Just, uh, maybe don’t read it while driving—even when you get to the really good parts. 😅

This book was very good. Please read Book 1 before reading this one. Otherwise, you will not understand anything, as this book explains why the characters do what they do in Book 1.

It delves into their past, their pain, and their trauma.

The book explains the connection between rhe Scorpio and Black.. and I love Black... moreeeeeeee.😈😈😈😈

Black is a kid who's Mother is the worst. He has been through so many things. He was determined to save his brother not by blood but by choice.

The mental health issues are discussed in this book so please read the trigger warnings ⚠️ 🙏

**⚠️ Please read the trigger warnings carefully before diving into the book. ⚠️**

Anya is the savage and bad bitch but she is having the sweetest heart. She is ready to burn along with her solnyshko if it means to love him.

I can't wait to see more of Black and Anya. And I can't wait to read the final book of this series..

This book? Unhinged in the best way. Anya is done being a pawn, but of course, Mr. Dark and Obsessive has other plans. The tension? Illegal. The spice? downright feral.

I devoured this like my life depended on it.

⚠️ But seriously, check the trigger warnings before diving in. This one goes dark. ⚠️

Now, if anyone needs me, I’ll be lying face down, screaming over this series. Also read book one before you read this. I HIGHLY recommend and you need to read book one for this to make sense.

I was so excited to read this little novella right here. I have read book one and was absolutely obsessed. Please make sure you read the “Note to Readers”. The playlist was spot on for me and that second dedication was perfect. This book did not disappoint at all but for I would say read the first because, well ya just should. The storyline was amazing and the characters were so great. I loved myself some Black, but then again I love me some pitch black romance myself and the name just hit right. Neyha gave me a 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ with this one and I can't wait for more from her in the hopefully near future!

OMG, I'm still reeling from this novella! I swear, Black and Anya's story is etched in my brain forever! The way the author weaves their complex pasts and relationships is pure magic. I'm obsessed with their banter - it's like a beautiful, toxic dance. If you're a dark romance junkie like me, drop everything and read this... but only after reading the first book, of course!

I felt a lot of things when reading this. I

will be honest though... it didn't hit QUITE the same as the first book. this was(surprisingly) more aggressive than the first. I think my biggest dislike is that of a personal preference. I just didn't agree with hurting someone intentionally if you supposedly love them. but

otherwise a good book. 😊
