A Note to the
Before you dive into the pages ahead, I want to take a moment to address something that might be noticeable—especially to those who, like me, live with ADHD. As someone with ADHD, I’ve often found that my focus can be a double-edged sword, leading to moments of brilliance—and sometimes, moments of carelessness. I’m aware that there are a few formatting and editing issues within this book, and while I wish I could have caught every single one, I also know that perfection isn’t always the goal.
This book is a reflection of my authentic self, complete with all its strengths and imperfections. Writing about ADHD and Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD) means showing up as I truly am, and part of that process involves embracing mistakes along the way. I hope you can look past these minor errors and see the heart of what I’m trying to the lived experience of ADHD RSD, the ups and downs, and the strength in our vulnerability.
If you notice any formatting or typographical issues, please know they were not intentional, but rather part of the messy, human process of putting this work into the world. My hope is that the message I’m sharing with you—about understanding, acceptance, and compassion for ourselves and others—shines through, imperfections and all.
I'm proud of my work for the very first time, that outweighs all negative remarks about the formatting'. That should tell you something since I have RSD.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. You are not alone in this journey.
