Visual culture influences architecture ―and vice versa. Imagine Architecture compiles contemporary perspectives on this exchange from those working in creative fields including installation, sculpture, illustration, photography, and design. Contemporary developments in the visual arts are often reflected in urban landscapes. In the process, these visionary concepts are playfully expanding the definition of architecture. This is one of the most beautiful art books I've seen in some time. Imagine Architecture examines the intersection of art, design, architecture and fantasy through various mediums. These works are spellbinding and proof that imagination has no bounds. Timely to finally finish this after seeing Paola Antonelli of MoMA speak last week.
