3.5 ⭐️ I was lucky enough to receive an early copy of this book and I’ve never read a book from this author before!! This is a book with over 700+ pages so honestly it felt quite long at some points, but I loved the two main characters and it was also my first billionare romance 😍 excited to see where the rest of the series goes!

Part One: The Bastard ~ This story was almost overwhelming in its passion. It felt at times as if I was stuck in the erotic embrace of the couple while learning virtually nothing about the situation at hand. There's something going on at Eric's dad's company... something that is potentially dangerous... something that has jeopardized lives... and yet I'm no closer to figuring out what that something is at the end of this book. I hope it all becomes clear in the next one.
There's no doubt that Eric and Harper share a once-in-a-lifetime connection. Their connection never broke during their six year separation. I'm not sure what the future holds for this couple but knowing LRJ, their happy ending is somewhere on the horizon and I'm eager to watch it unfold.
Part Two: The Princess ~ Aside from wishing that this was told entirely from Eric's perspective, hating Harper, and finding out that it's a filthy trilogy and not a filthy duet, I'm totally on board to discover all of this story's hidden truths and find out what's really going on. LRJ has the amazing ability to completely hold me captive to her stories and keep me guessing and I love it. With one heck of a cliffhanger, where Harper is once again questioning Eric, I'm really looking forward to how this author will close out this couple's saga.
Part Three: The Empire ~ I love Eric so much! This man, this savant, this SEAL, this self-made billionaire, this honorable and incredible man earned a special place in my heart. I loved him for his inner strength and for his vulnerabilities. I admired his perseverance and his ability to see the big picture. I never doubted him and I'm glad that Harper learned not to as well. I must admit that I found parts of their dialogue and Harper's inner thoughts a bit repetitive, but I was still able to be wowed by this couple's romance. The Empire perfectly wrapped up the love and intrigue that the Filthy Trilogy successfully portrayed and I can't wait to see where all of these characters end up next!

I was lucky enough to receive this early and as soon as I read the blurb it at me hooked as it sounds right up my street.
It was really slow start, with character building, I really loved the two main characters, was loads of background stories to them which really added to their characters.
This book is 700+ pages, the longest book I’ve read so far but just felt it took forever to get through as for me there was so much repetitive words/stories throughout the whole book.
But there was so many twist and turns you would not expect, overall the book was a great read.
It was really slow start, with character building, I really loved the two main characters, was loads of background stories to them which really added to their characters.

I read this one as part of a book tour and while it was definitely soapy I enjoyed it enough to read almost 600 pages of it.
The taboo portion of the book didn’t actually feel very taboo? Maybe it was just me but the blurb certainly made it seem like this would be a larger thing.
Overall, there was enough action to keep me reading pretty steadily but I definitely think the writing style was long winded and we could’ve had the same story 100 pages shorter. Recommending it if you’re a fan of soaps and can suspend lots of disbelief!

Unfortunately this book just wasn’t suited to me.
I found the characters unnecessarily obsessed with one another and the back and forth of arguing over the same thing and then having makeup sex was repetitive and didn’t seem to advance in any way.

This is my first book/series from Lisa Renee Jones and I am hooked! I am so happy the series for this couple was in one book because if I had to wait I would lose my mind!
This book starts off in a very heated and promising way! I knew that this was going to be one twisty plot and I loved every word.
This world is a dark one and Eric could be devil in disguise but as time goes on Harper learns that she’s had everything all wrong and when these two finally tell their truths, a bond unlike any other is formed and no one will stop them!
A very taboo romance for some but for me I loved the line they danced on and couldn’t get enough of the steam!

Eric Mitchell, the bastard, the savant, the self-made billionaire, Grayson Bennett's best friend and right-hand man. Harper, trying to save her father's legacy after his death from the claws of her mother's new husband, is like a forbidden fruit to Eric.
When he leaves the woman after their first brief but intense encounter, he thinks they will never meet again, but he can't get her out of his mind. However, when she shows up at his office six years later asking him to help save the Kingston empire, he doesn't know if he can trust her.
From there, the story unfolds into a twisty tale overflowing with secrets and desire. The "Filthy Deal" was originally published as the Filthy Trilogy series, but in this form, it is the second book in the Scandalous Billionaires series. The members of the Walker team are also an essential part of this novel, adding to the quality of the book with their diverse characters.
Harper is a very similar character to Mia, the protagonist of Beautiful Betrayal. She is a strong, independent woman who, although she has lived with the Kingstons for six years, has not become as greedy as they are. However, her rash decisions often led her to overreact like Mia. In this book, Lisa Renee Jones shows her ability once again to make the story compelling even when the main character is sometimes terribly annoying, which does not decrease the enjoyability of the book, but rather increases it.
Eric is definitely one of my favourite characters from the series and I can confidently say that I fell head over heels in love with him. The traumas he had to go through did not break him, in fact they made him stronger. He has learned to manage the numbers in his head, and in doing so, make use of his incredible talent. He has an air of determination and dominance, without being overpowering. His mother's memory keeps his moral compass in place, allowing him to move beyond the hurt his father and stepbrother caused him.
"Filthy Deal" is a novel that goes far beyond simple romance stories. The relationship between the two protagonists, as step-siblings, is undeniably a taboo topic, and therefore carries with it the tension of conflict and forbidden attraction. The depth of the characters and the mysterious secrets that permeate the story heighten the thrills and make readers unable to put the book down.
This novel of mystery and intrigue will leave the reader hungry for answers as the characters dig deeper and deeper into the maze of secrets. The secrets revealed throughout the novel not only take surprising twists and turns, but also reveal unexpected events that transform the lives and relationships of the characters. I really liked the direction the story went, but I felt It was a bit dragged out longer than needed. lack of detail. I struggled to get on board and care about what was happening UGH. I really wanted to love love this

I am absolutely in love with Eric and Harper. Self made billionaire Eric is the black sheep of his family who six years ago feel hard for Harper who is his new step sister. He left her and six years later Harper comes to him for help and their chemistry is still burning hot. They must hold onto each other to figure out who wants them dead. This story is heartbreaking. Beautiful and filthy.

This is Eric and Harper's compelling, antagonistic love story with revenge, family ties and trials, hidden motives, passion, shady deals, shocking secrets, danger, violence, heartache, evil intentions, life and death situations, justice, a mystery to unravel and a happily ever after. I definitely recommend reading this series in chronological order.

This box set is made up of three books. The Bastard, The Princess and The Empire. A seamless way to read a trilogy without interruptions. The books in this set have had some changes, and updates. But they are still spectacular as the original’s.
The Bastard: Oh my goodness!!! I need to read The Princess like yesterday! Lisa, you’ve left us in suspense. How could you? Just kidding! Once again you’ve written another spectacular book! And as I always say about your books, they have character’s from other books, pulling it all together! The heartache that both, Eric and Harper have endured, is so sad. They want to trust one another but because of the family they find it hard to see past all the lies and deceit. Fortunately, they are working through all of it together and hanging on. They love each other and they just want to start living without looking over their shoulder all the time. Looks like we are going to have to wait for the next book to find out if they can hold onto each other and come out as strong as ever!
The Empire: The Empire is the third book in the Filthy series. Once again this book started right where the Princess ended. I felt that this book was not as intense as the first two. I kind of felt like I was just coasting along from chapter to chapter. Don’t get me wrong, I still loved the book! I just didn’t get as excited! I definitely feel that you need to read both The Bastard and The Princess before reading this one. You need to have the whole story all the way to the end. Even though a few people tried to have things come between them, Eric and Harper stood strong and together and made it! This is a great series that I recommend reading.

When I first started this book, I did not know which way it would go. It was a fairly slow start as the backstory and characters were developed, but once the story was in full swing the twists and turns were thrilling! Could not put the book down towards the end and I was constantly thinking what next?!
Written as dual POV, you really got to understand the Harper and Eric fully and understand why they reacted or acted in certain ways.

I love books that are have a complex structure and strong flawed characters with dark corners. That is what This author excels in. Her books are timeless. I can read them and reread them over and over. This book is about the Bastard son of Kingston empire and the Princess of the empire. Eric is the illegitimate son of Jeff Kingston but he has his mother’s last name. He lost his mother very tragically and she has made sure that his father will raise him before her death. They lived in a trailer park while his father lives in a mansion. Eric did not choose to become part of the Kingston family. He hates his father for so many reason. Harper becomes part of the Kingston family when her mother marries Jeff after her father dies tragically. She is also an outcast. She is just trying to keep her father’s legacy alive and intact. Her mother controls her trust which she gives to Jeff for his company. Eric and Harper meet at a party hosted by the Kingston family. They have an instant connection when their eyes meet across the pool. Fast forward six years later , Harper goes to seek out Eric for help due to company discrepancy. He refuses to save the company but he does help Harper. This is where the drama becomes dangerous because of Issac Kingston. There are attempts on Harper’s life, Jeff Kingston is targeted by unknown people and GiGi , Jeff’s mother disappeared in Europe. Harper and Eric become friends, reacquainted lovers and they fight due to secrets they each carry from their past. This story is complex and dramatic with dark edges. I love the fact that this author bring other characters into the story as well from other books. Walker Security is hired by Eric to keep them safe and help find the answers they desperately need. I especially love Savage who is an enigma. He is a funny complex character. He is a beast who doesn’t mind blurring the lines for the greater good of his clients. He is a surgeon and former military but he is muscle for his clients. He loves good whiskey the North Brand which is from another book in this series. I can’t say enough good things about this book. It can be a standalone book but it is so much better after reading other book by this author. I would give this book more than 5 stars if possible. Plus I will definitely reread it again in the future. There are so many rabbit holes this books goes through and an endless possibilities of others that the reader can question. The love story of Eric and Harper is deep and sensual with so much emotion. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did.

What an amazing read!I was hooked right from the beginning. I was not prepared to be as engrossed as I was and it was a long length romance... you will get your money's worth by reading this story! I am glad that I read this as one book instead of 3 separate books ...it was so intense and kept me turning the pages late into the night, I couldn't put it down. This sexy couple and the dangerous situations they faced had my heart racing while reading it... IT WAS THAT GOOD!

The story opens up with Eric meeting Harper who is the daughter of his father's new wife. The have an immediate connection despite their families being tied together through the marriage. Yes, they are step-siblings, but not really. When they reconnect 6 years later, the plot takes you on a suspenseful story line where you don't know who is out to get who, who is lying and wishing you could be inside Eric's head with all those numbers and how he really figures out the codes he is being sent.
This is my first time reading this author's work but will not be my last. She knows how to write a book that keeps your interest that you can't and don't want to put down. I am going to go back to the first in the series and then continue with the rest, I am hooked!.

“Filthy Deal” was the second book in Lisa Renee Jones’ Scandalous Billionaires series, and it was Eric and Harper’s story. I’m really picky about the books I read that include the stepsibling trope, but I thought this one was very well done!
Eric and Harper became stepsiblings as adults, and didn’t even have the chance to meet right away. Once they did, the sparks were impossible to ignore, and although this is a second chance romance, they were eventually able to make their way back to each other.
Eric had spent his most of his life hating his biological father and the family members that come with him, because he’d been treated awfully due to the fact that he’s illegitimate. He doesn’t let a lot of people into his life, but there’s something about Harper that makes her different.
His love for her is obvious, if a little obsessive and all consuming. His need to keep Harper safe is what caused him to make most of his decisions, and although there was some miscommunication, I was rooting for them the whole time.
Before she met Eric, Harper’s only goals in life were to be successful, protect her father’s legacy, and try to stay in contact with her mother. But as soon as she became truly involved with Eric, all of that changed.
She and Eric were in danger for the majority of this book, and while it definitely changed their dynamic at times, I truly believe that Harper loved Eric and wanted to protect him, and he felt the same way about her. All in all, this was an incredible read, and I would definitely recommend to fans of romantic suspense!

Filthy Deal is the second book in the Scandalous Billionaires Series which features Eric, who is working with Greyson Bennett and is the illegitimate son of the wealthy and powerful Jeff Kingston, and Harper, Jeff’s princess. Eric and Harper have a strong attraction to each other and eventually act upon it. This slow burn romance is well written, has intrigue, betrayal, plot twists, false accusations, bribes, and sizzling chemistry.

loved Eric and Harper
This book could be read as a standalone but Eric is in the first book as well. I highly recommend the first book though. Wow! What did I just read. This book just sucked me in and kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Harper and Eric from the beginning have this intense, hot and heavy chemistry. No matter how many things try to divide them, they always find their way back to each other. Just one small thing, they are step siblings. Their romantic suspense is intriguing, full of plot twists and cliffhangers. The secrets, lies, deception, the family drama, Lisa wrote this perfectly. This book is heartbreak and happiness all in one. Eric and Harper are literally trying to crack a code. Harper is in danger, but she’s not the only one. We ride on the roller coaster as we try to find out who is behind this treachery. All while seeing their love story unfold.

Filthy Deal by Lisa Renee Jones is book 2 in the Scandalous Billionaires series. I highly recommend reading Beautiful Betrayal first because the characters definitely are apart of this book and the books bleed together. Filthy Deal is absolutely engrossing and I could not put it down.
Eric (ML) has made it on his own without the help of his family and works for Grayson from book 1. He is considered the backup heir to his father’s legacy bc of his illegitimacy. Harper (FL) is the daughter of his new stepmother and of course the two of them have an instant connection. After 6 years they reconnect because she needs help with the family business. While he does not want to help his father he wants to help her. This is where the suspense, romance and steamy spice begin.

Lisa Renee Jones has topped the previous book……. Hard to say but this one really held me captive.
This book see the story of forbidden romance between Eric and Harper , step siblings who fall in love despite their families trying to tear them apart.
It takes the reader on a suspenseful and steamy journey with Eric and Harper working to find who is out to hurt them and their family business and navigating a new relationship together. Great to see many character from other books making appearances and tying the series together.
