I had the same problem with this as I do with most novellas -- it ended too soon! I wanted more, more, more!

In this novella, we follow Liam and Jillian to SoCo for a family Christmas. It just confirms how toxic Jillian's mother is, and how awesome Liam is.

I love Liam. I can never get enough of him. He is the best romantic lead I have yet encountered in a book.

I must ask though -- GAlbin: They were so close, why couldn't you fulfill Liam's childhood dream?

Jillian and Liam are spending their time with Jillian's parents and it's not on top of list in Jillian's book. She can't wait the vacation to be over..so she can in Liam's arms again without any stupid restrictions by Tara. But Christmas may not be that bad with Liam on her side,a sweet gift and some kinky time together!

Nice read!

Titel: Now and Forever - Mein größter Wunsch bist du//Short Story
Autor: Geneva Lee
Preis: O,oo € eBook
Verlag: Blanvalet
Seitenzahl: 45

Inhalt:

Meinung:

Fazit:

Even though short, this was a sweet story of their trip to her parents house for Christmas vacation. Don't read this if you haven't read Catching Liam first. I hope to get updates on Jill and Liam from Scotland in Jessica's story.

A very cute addition to the Liam/Jillian story. I still wanted to smack Tara on more than one occassion, but Liam remains the perfect book boyfriend and Jillian didn't even fall prey to the cliche romance-novel-girl issues. A fun quick read.

That was really sweet. Liam is legit the best. But it baffles me that Jillian's mother can be JUST THAT awful. Honestly, at the end of Catching Liam I thought she'd had some kind of breakthrough, but apparently not. What a bizarre character.

SPOILERS

Really liked them as a couple. Jillian has an illness so she pushes people away. Jillian's mother was just ridiculous to me and sometimes Jillian was just annoying. The man loves you let him help you. I felt like it wasn't really over so they get an HEA? Book 2 in this series says Liam has to go back to Scotland so.... what happens. I am reading the Holiday book now but feel like isn't going to really answer my questions. I love how Liam called her chicken.

It’s a quick fun read and I hope we get to see more of Liam and Jillian in the future. This story just reinforces why Liam is the perfect guy and remains as one of my top three book boyfriends. That Tara is a major piece of work and while we don’t see too much of Jillian’s Dad in the first book, I was so glad to see a change in his character and in Jillian’s family dynamic.

DAMN! Liam is sooo worth unwrapping!

The author gives you just enough to keep you begging for more.

Jillian takes Liam home for Christmas in this short story. Of course Tara is a hot mess express.

I love the vulnerability in Jillian and the strength in Liam.

This short story is like a sweet Christmas treat to satisfy any Jillian and

I wanted more of Liam and Jillian and I got more. This novella is the first Christmas together for Liam and Jillian and they are spending it with her parents. This addition to Catching Liam shows us a little more into why Jillian's mum is the way she is and it also cements just how wonderful Liam is. You will end this book with a warm fuzzy feeling and maybe a little tear or two with just how much love Liam has for Jillian.

A good continuation of the story of Liam and Jillian.

But honestly it left me with more questions about their relationship. Hope to read more about them in the next book.

Weihnachten in Familie …

I absolutely adore Jillian and Liam. So, duh, I had to read their novella!

Unwrapping Liam is a novella that covers the winter break that Jillian and Liam take with Jillian’s parents. My only complaint about this story was that it was too short–I wasn’t able to really get my Liam fix! Regardless of that, it really showed the situation with Jillian’s home-life and parents, specifically Jillian’s relationship with her mother. It was really enlightening to see how they interacted with each other, especially after the things that we learned in Catching Liam. Jillian and her mother are two sides of an opposite spectrum. It was definitely entertaining to see Jillian being snarky with her mother. We also saw Liam forming a bond with her father. This was like a behind the scene look at Jillian’s life. Liam was as fabulous as always. He stood up for her to her parents and didn’t let Jillian’s mother talk down on her. He was definitely the hero in this novella. It gave me a glimpse of my favorite Good Girls Don’t couple and I was sad to see it end.

Unwrapping Liam was a great little story about Jillian and her family and where Liam fit in. I think it is a must read for all Catching Liam fans.

(View this review on My Library on the Making.)

This novella came out almost a year after the first book in the series, so by the time I read it I was practically jumping up and down in my seat with excitement. In Unwrapping Liam we see more of Jillian and Liam together, but made hilarious and tense because they are to spend the Christmas holidays with Jillian's parents.

Under the constant scrutiny of Tara, Jillian's easy-to-hate mother, her relationship with Liam is put to the test. Their interactions are more heated with desire because they need to sneak around like teenagers or risk being judged and reprimanded by Tara, but of course they get caught and of course it's amusing, haha. But as expected, Jillian grew tired of playing by her mom's rules soon enough, and let's just say I wasn't able to look at Christmas trees the same way for quite some time after reading this.

Overall, Unwrapping Liam did a swell job of getting me pumped up for Teaching Roman (which, spoiler alert, I also loved) and making me wish I had my own Liam. Now, where the heck is the third book in this series?!

MY FAVORITE PART was Liam making pies. Sweet Jesus.

This (possibly) conclusion to Liam's and Jillian's story, though it was just a novella, brought tears to my eyes. Though not as sexually charged as the first book, "Catching Liam", "Unwrapping Liam" held so much heart and passion.

Since their relationship has blossomed, Jillian decides to make good on her offer to take Liam home with her to SoCal for the Christmas holiday. The entire week with her parents is charged with, both stressful with her parents (namely her mother) and sexual with Liam since her mother has resigned them to separate rooms due to their not being married.

A quote to end it all... from Liam to Jillian "Pearls come from rough beginnings, but they are beautiful for the suffering."

This was a really sweet and cute continuation of Liam and Jillian's story. It's Christmas and Jillian goes home to be with her family but Liam goes with her since he can't afford to go home to Scotland. Jillian and Liam have to deal with her mother that does everything she can to push them and hurt her. She doesn't mean to hurt her daughter and she's looking out for her in her own way but she needs to learn a better way. Liam finds it hard to be there and hold his tongue when her mother tears down his girlfriend. He proves over and over again what a wonderful man he is and how much he loves her.

Worth reading.

Jillian and Liam are back in this short story that is set at Christmas. Liam has accompanied Jillian home for the week for a few reasons; he can't return to Scotland for the week and more for moral support against Jillians overbearing mom.
This short story was cute, well written and had a happy ending!
