Kollyan used to being the last one to get attention from anyone. Never good enough and always living in the shadows of others. First her best friend Buffy that stopped talking to her and spending time with her years ago, now she feels like she is living in the shadow of the rest of the world. Until all of a sudden people around her, friends and strangers start dying. She feels like she somehow plays a role in what is going on but isn’t sure. Scared and running for her life she meets Lennon through a mutual friend. Now she is running from what she knows could be the one true love of her life and someone that is out to kill her. That mixed in with the crazy dreams see where it all takes her.
Lennon met Kollyan in Scotland a few years ago, thinking he would never see her again but never forgetting her. I was glued to this book from beginning to end.
Though this is a stand alone book, it does have little references to things that happened in "Broken". I would definitely recommend for people to pick this book up!

Awesome story! DM McDaniel is one author to watch out for! Her witty style of writing just sucks you in and cracks you up. I enjoyed every bit of Kollyan's humor. Lennon, a tortured vampire who lost his family hundreds of years ago and was turned by the same vampire who did this to him, discovers that his long dead wife's soul has been reincarnated in Kollyan. He shuns her, afraid to get hurt again. Especially when someone is out there that doesn't want them to live happily ever after. And people around her start dying.
Lennon's brooding got old fast in the first half of the book, I didn't understand it, it was just so strained. I wanted to shake him and tell him to let Kollyan in already. GRRR. However, he does let up and come back to his senses thank goodness.
A superb cast of true to life characters, supernatural ones and some old ones that come back for some very fun scenes. I enjoyed seeing Solomon return, even if it was a brief jaunt.
Highly recommend picking up any DM McDaniel books, they're that good and always a fresh take on paranormal.

In the second installment of DM McDaniel’s Guardian Dream series Restored we once again meet Lennon the enigmatic but very sexy tortured vampire. When a woman from his past enters his life Lennon must do what he can to keep her safe. This is a tale full of betrayal, murder and a lost love. Lennon must follow his heart if he is to truly be happy. Mrs. McDaniel has a way of writing that keeps her readers intrigued at every flip of the page. Once again twists and turns at every page. Quite an exhilarating read and I promise hands down you will fall in love with the sexy vampire Lennon I know I did. As the second book in the series, it is an emotional ride and I immediately was begging for more of these characters. Keep an eye out for what’s next with this author.

restored knocked my socks right off! From the moment i picked up my kindle and started reading there was no way i could put it down! the author knew what she was
doing when she wrote this second book! The story is amazing, the characters will blow you away! if you think you got this book figured out then you better think again. Restored is full of mind blowing, jaw dropping surprises, lots of laughs
that will leave you wanting much much more by the time you've finished!!!!

Restored was fabulous! Even better then the first.. DM has such a great way of telling a story. This book has it all! Love, humor, suspense..
This book came at a rough time in my life.. Everytime I picked it up to read.. It took me away from all my worries and all of my sadness.
DM, You just keep getting better and better! Cant wait for the next one :)

A GOOD read. It has paranormal activity, a HOT romance, humor, and twists and turns galore. I was glued to this book until I finished. I'm looking forward to DM's next one!

I loved the first book in the series but I didn't like the storyline in this one. The writing often left me feeling like I missed something as well.
