Moira faces new challenges as she finds herself in the hands of the enemy. Determined to escape and keep everyone she cares about safe, she has to do things she's never even dreamed of doing, including trusting the one who betrayed her...
I'm the author of the Element Preservers series, Human, the Tainted Elements series, the Deadly Destiny series, and the Elemental Earths series. I'm a big fan of paranormal romance, urban fantasy, dystopian and young adult fiction. Writing is my biggest passion, closely followed by reading and listening to music.
I enjoyed reading this book a lot. It's sad that jaiden had died though, I thought Mira and him were going to become an item but it went opposite. I wonder how she will feel when she comes out of her shock and remembers what she did. I hope she doesn't take over her grandfathers job unless it is only a cover and she takes it down along with elementera and maybe Lily's organization

This series started out to be promising. A world where mostly a new generation of young people had gone through genetic manipulation in order to prevent magic disease, a condition where an individual had more than one Elemental power.
Where the story goes wrong, IMHO, is that the plotline keeps curling back on itself. Not only is that boring, but the author tries to spice it up by adding crueler and meaner characters and situations.
By the end of this, Invisible, the second book, I've had it with the selfishness and shallow characters. I'm done with the series.
Moira life’s has made a drastic change, being a prisoner and now an agent is not what she wanted for herself, she misses her parents. She doesn't get to see Noah very much.
Jaiden has so many secrets and we still don’t know why he betrayed his friends? Or didn't he.
Everyone is lying and nobody is who he or she seems, who can you trust when people are keeping hidden agenda’s full with secrets.
This book want bad, but it wasn't great either. It was a quick read like the first and it held my attention to see if she was going to trust jaiden or not and the ending was great that it made me purchase the next book in the series, however, this one was a little more boring than the first there wasn't as much action that made me want to continue reading and get lost as to how many pages/chapters I've read. I would have liked to of seen more of the love story and who it is that age really likes and what their powers can do. But, I'm still looking forward to the next book in the series, I just hope the 4th comes out before I'm done with this book if it has a crazy ending like the first two have.
Once again, well done on such a striking story line. There was some small grammer mistakes in this volume but otherwise it was another volume I had a challenging time putting down.
I have to say my favorite thing about this series is when Alycia lets you in on some of the story to the point you think you know whats going to happen and then leaves you stumbling for words by the last page because she throws a sudden curve ball. Pick this book up already and let your imagination fly!
I just... I can't. Jaiden has turned into an absolute pussy and it pisses me off yo no end. This is absolute shit. What happened to his leadership and coolness? What happened to him NOT betraying his friends and PROVIDING answers? Maybe he redeems himself later in the book. I wouldn't know since I'm dropping this one faster than a hot potato
I kind of skimmed this one cause I didn't enjoy the direction it took with Moira captured and forced to work for the bad guys (at least one set of them anyway) for most of the book. Not that she had a choice, she had to all they would kill her family and friends. I just don't particularly enjoy it when the hero/heroine are powerless for most of the story.
This book was great, I'm one of those people who love fantasy books like these and this was like the best book I have ever read. I didn't want to put my kindle down as soon as I started reading it!!
The second book in the series is fantastic. Holy Moly the middle to the end is gripping and intense. The ending was a bit of a shocker but that's what makes a good cliffhanger. Excellent YA book.
