She never expected a single trip to change her life forever…
Jennifer "JJ" Jones has always played it safe. When she loses her boring wine researcher job for dating a co-worker, she makes two solemn vows: take more risks and stop mixing business and pleasure.
Creating a bucket list, she follows her lifelong dream of making wine and signs a three-month contract in Napa Valley as an assistant winemaker for the world-renowned MacAllester wine family. After spending her first day in the vineyards with her new boss' intriguing son William, JJ wonders if she can resist his sensual pull and more importantly why would she even want to?
As the sun-drenched days and heated nights stretch out before them, JJ and William’s romance ripens along with the grapes. But there are storm clouds on the horizon. JJ fears her feelings not only endanger her heart and her job, but William’s vineyards as well, putting the first harvest of his new vineyard at risk. Can JJ create a new wine, a new life, and a new love for herself without losing it all?

Napa Valley, wine, family and love:

What more could you ask for in this charming and innovative approach to a romance novel? What a fun way to promote travel and learn about wine on the way. I knew absolutely nothing about wine or winemaking. However, after reading this book, I do believe that I can now consider myself an apprentice wine professional (or maybe not). Very well researched, the author is obviously very passionate about wine and travel and those subjects come through strongly in the story. It really does make one want to visit many of the sites described, way more fun than reading a travel brochure.

JJ is a woman who has been burned by relationships. She was fired from her job for dating a co-worker, but takes the opportunity to go after her true dream, winemaking. JJ gets the chance to start following her dream in amazing Napa Valley. The last thing she needs is to start a relationship with the owners son--despite the fireworks being near each other set off.

I liked William and JJ together, I thought they had a playful and hot chemistry that really worked. This was so different from any other romance novel I have read. Destination love stories is such a novel and exciting idea that I look forward eagerly for the next installment in the series.

Cute story but felt rushed due to only being 132 pages long. There was a sense of predictability but the characters were likable. JJ and Will had an immediate attraction and chemistry that was off the charts but their between the sheets moments happened too quickly for me and was the majority of the story line.

I liked the premise of the family winery and how everyone came together when needed to help out. The characters should have been delved into more. There were nice descriptions of the winery, the homes and the scenery. Napa is definitely a place on my bucket list.

I hope we get to meet up with these characters in other stories since it is the start of a series and hope for more depth in the characters and their stories. There was some closure and a nice happily ever after in the offing. I liked that there was a blurb about Napa Christmas, book 1.1 in the series.

I actually really enjoyed this book! It was a cute story about finding love when the heroine goes to find a new job. The only thing I had any issue with was her willingness to be so deceptive in hiding her relationship. It was like she couldn't see that it was hurting everyone else around her. The hero was likable, but I feel that he should have stood up to the heroine instead of going along with her scheme. I understand why the author did things this way, but I still disagree with the character's choices. There seems to be a second book in the series, and I have every intention of picking it up when it is available for Kindle!

Come visit Napa, California

JJ had been offered a chance to work a wainwright in Nap for the summer if she does a good job she may become the owners personal assistant, and influence which way the wine is produced. Everything is fine until she meets the bosses son. JJ will be staying in his guest cottage and the fireworks are about to fly. Cute story that expands your knowledge of how things are done at a winery. As a frequent visitor to Napa I especially enjoyed this book.

I really enjoyed this story. JJ and William were both great, and I loved the supporting cast of characters as well. Ms’ DeSousa made wine country come alive as well. Overall, I thought the story was engaging and am looking forward to future installments. The only thing keeping me from giving it a full 5 stars was that there were a fair number of proofreading/editing errors that need to be addressed.

The story has so much potential because the professions of the main characters are unique, as is the setting. But too many grammatical errors (incorrect possessives, missing commas) and uses of the wrong form of the word "sites" for "sights"or "check" instead of "cheek" kept me from getting lost in the world the author tried to create. An author shows respect for readers when she puts out an error-free product.

I liked the story. It gives the reader an inside look into Napa and the complications of running a winery. The romance part didn't work all that well for me. It just seemed like the dialogue was very clipped and the scene changes were abrupt.

However the series has potential and I will be reading the next one.

Love amid the grapes

Napa valley, vineyards, and hot hunky farmers, have brought our heroine, JJ, to her knees. I loved all the technical details the author used to lure us into the romantic world of winemaking. This is a book that touches the heart and the mind. I look forward to reading more from this author.

I like this book a lot, it was such a sweet love story. I'm not really a wine person but this book make me want to pour a glass, sit down on the garden and just keep reading.
