Falling in love? Courtney Grayson has been there, done that.
Men, who needs them? Love wasn’t everything she thought it would be. This time around she’s doing things differently. She hasn’t sworn off men for good, just isn’t interested in settling. Trusting someone with her heart again? Someday, but not today.
Falling in love? Sorry, Clay Bradshaw is not the guy for you.
He’s never been in love and he doesn’t see it happening. Hooking up can be fun, but more often than not, women are a distraction he doesn’t need. He’s a busy man, and doesn’t have time to date, let alone fall in love. Will someone ever change that? There’s always a chance, someday.
Life doesn’t always go as planned, and love may find them both on the other side of someday.

I absolutely love this book. Carey has this crazy ability to tell an amazing story and Clay and Courtney's story does not fail. It has drama and angst, passion and sweetness, love and loss. It's the perfect reminder that even when you're having what you think will be your worst day ever, there is always tomorrow.
Courtney Grayson is having a bad day. When she goes to work she is getting strange looks from her coworkers. After she attends a meeting with the Offenheims and their hotshot son, Grant, she is called into the office manager's office, asked if she stole any of the funds from petty cash. Taken aback, she answers "No" and is told her employment is being terminated. She is humiliated and is escorted out of the office. On her way home, she gets a flat. When she gets the tire changed and runs it through her credit card, it declines. The owner tells her not to worry, that tomorrow things will be better.
She is still so upset, and she drives straight home to the condo she she shares with her boyfriend of 8 years, Mike. His car is in the drive, but so is Stacy Callahan's his boss' daughter. But when she steps inside she hears strange noises. And then a moan. The moan sounds just like the sound Mike makes right before he comes. She leaves a note saying, "You sounded busy." She signs the note, and leaves it with her engagement ring on the counter.
She goes to her mom's house and cries on her shoulder. Her mom is upset about Mike and helps soothe her about the job situation. She has a friend who is a lawyer who will look into things for her. After 3 days of self pity and wallowing, her girlfriend Jen comes to see her and is furious that Mike would do this. Courtney keeps thinking what did she do wrong that he turned to someone else. They've been living together for years and have been engaged for at least 3 of them. Maybe he has been losing interest for a while. Meanwhile, Mike is blowing up her phone with texts and calls. She won't answer them.
Jen decides Courtney needs to embrace her new single state and go out to a jazz club. She reluctantly goes and end up running into Grant Offenheim, the town's golden boy. He remembers that they've met before. He's obviously interested in her and wants to exchange phone numbers. She's not sure if she wants to pursue anything, she can barely figure out what's she doing. She needs to find a job.
The next day she goes back to Pete's, the auto repair place to pay off the tire. Her credit card company flagged her account due to some suspicious activity and that's why her card declined. But when she goes to pay, it's not an old man she sees but a beautiful male specimen who tells her he is Clay, the owner's son. His dad fell and broke his hip and he's filling in for him. These two just might engage in some heavy flirting as they are obviously attracted to one another. Clay seized the opportunity and finds a way to spend some time with her. He actually is running ragged, filling in for his dad, repairing cars, answering the phones. When he learns that Courtney needs a job-it's like Clay's lucky day has arrived!
The two of them dance around each other. Both of them in a weird place in their lives. Clay is somewhat of a computer genius. He has his own business building and maintaining websites and has more work than he can handle. He is also helping to take care of Megan, his 10 year old niece. His sister has major issues and is not parent material. Courtney is struggling to find her own place after so many years of being with Mike. He has been coming to her house begging for another chance. She won't even talk to him and just wants her things that she left behind at the condo.
Meanwhile, she did go out with Grant on a date. She had a great time, but just can't seem to get clay our of her mind. Clay wants nothing more than to keep seeing Courtney inside and outside of work. The two have had some pretty spectacular dates, but Clay is worried that Courtney will keep seeing Grant. Courtney and Clay both feel that what they have is special, and not going to disappear.
Things get really bad with Megan's mom and Clay doesn't think his elderly parents can raise Megan. But if he takes her, is that too much pressure for a new couple to handle? A man claiming to be Megan's father enters the picture, which is a complication with a twist. When the dust settles, will these two still be a couple or cut their losses and run?
This is an easy read, there are lots of secondary characters with intertwining stories, that I can see the possibility for additional stories for this series.
*Copy provided by author in exchange for an honest review* I've been a fan of Carey's ever since I read her Him & Her series and her books have yet to disappoint. This book follows Courntey, a 30 year old who has one of the worst days ever and decides that its time for her to live her life for herself. Then she meets Clay, a part-time mechanic and it takes off from there. I loved how she wasn't willing to her independence no matter how far their relationship went. I absolutely loved seeing their relationship play out. Even though I wasn't quite a fan of how it all started, once we got into the groove of things, I was a goner. These two were perfect for each other and I don't know how I cold have doubted it. Clay is hard-working, thoughtful, comforting, understanding and loyal. He melted my heart time and time again whenever he swooped in to help in every situation. The affection these two had for each other was nothing short of amazing to witness. There is mature content so it's not suitable for readers under 18.
I liked the characters and the progress they made throughout the story.
The story itself was nice and sweet (even though I think the ending came a little "too easy") the only thing I did not really care that much for, was the se* scenes, which did not really do anything for me.
If you like chick-lits, I can recommend this one :)
I'm truly sad that I didn't enjoy this book as much as everyone else. It was just an OK read for me. Mostly it was the first half -- I had a hell of a time getting into the story, and almost put it away. I felt like the writing didn't flow as smoothly or something...either that or I was just in a mood.
I'm also big on characters, and I was only so-so on Courtney and Clay. Not sure if I just didn't get a good read on them, but it took me a bit to warm up to them. They had their funny moments, but I guess I was just missing some depth....which is funny, b/c I think I'm in the minority for this opinion.
I also had a hard time wrapping my head around the speed with which their relationship moved... I mean, they talked about it themselves and how sometimes you just 'know', but I guess I just had a hard time suspending my disbelief that you could move on after less than a week. But that could be just a personal thing....
Lastly (on the con side -- which this review is feeling super negative and I really hate that), I was missing some sort of conflict...or climax...or something. It just felt very sweet and everyday. Which is not a bad thing, but I guess it's not what I was looking for, you know? Maybe I just wanted more from the conflicts we were presented with (Mike, Nicole, Grant, Maggie).
On the plus side, the sexual chemistry between Clay and Courtney was off the charts. And I really enjoyed the secondary characters (from Clay's parents to Courtney's Mom, to Maggie, Luke, Jenna and Brad).
But yeah. Either I'm in a slump, or this just wasn't to my taste. *shrugs*
Despite this being what I would class as a girly book, this is a 5* read for me.
I enjoyed being at the beginning of Clay’s courtship with Courtney. I felt like I watched him grow from being a young, free, single boy into a man. A man who puts his lady first. A man who takes into consideration her feelings and understands how a broken heart needs time to heal. I liked how he didn’t just dive into anything intimate with her, he woo’ed her in every sense of the word. I liked how he wanted the best for his niece and stepped up to the plate when he needed to. Clay, ladies, is who you should be wanting as a BBF. Forget these bad-ass guys you all swoon over, Clay is a real man.
Courtney, awww Courtney…from finding out she had wasted 8 years going down a path in life that she thought she was sharing with Mike to being on her own and having to start all over again, she was great. She wasn’t bitter, she let herself love again and be loved. She fitted in with Clay’s family and was just a good person.
There were funny bits in this book…the phone sex they had creased me up. The clothes melting and the hands being on the window while the jumper came off, honestly, was so real and absolutely hilarious!
There was the emotional parts, the romantic parts, so many good parts. There was sex in this book but it wasn’t gratuitous and it wasn’t overly graphic but it was hot.
I think the author should be very proud of this book. Her change of POV was smooth, the story flowed, the dialogue wasn’t stilted…it was a very sweet romance.
This is one of those books where I had a review written and it felt completely wrong…and so I erased 490 words and started over. Here is what I’ve come up with…
This is a classic story of starting over when you think everything has gone wrong. It’s starting at square one. At least for Courtney Grayson. In one day, she loses her job, her fiancé, a tire…if it weren’t for Pete and his generosity, who knows.
What Courtney had not counted on was being able to move on so quickly…after all, eight years is a long time. But I guess when the right man comes along, one finally realizes why it wasn’t working with anyone else. And that man is Clayton Bradshaw.
I loved this story. It was simple, sweet, and just an all-around perfect summer read. The chemistry between Clayton & Courtney is undeniable and the connections made throughout the story had me turning pages with a smile permanently plastered to my face.
So, there you have it…I’ve successfully expressed how I feel about this story while giving nothing away.
One last thing; I absolutely adore Carey Heywood and her simple style in writing. It’s refreshing and I look forward to more…always more! Read it. It’s absolutely worth it!
Can I say "amazeballs" in my review? Well, I'm going to, because this book was freaking amazeballs! I've been a huge fan of Carey for a while now. Every new release, I can't one-click fast enough. This book was a little different. You bet your booty I one-clicked this just as quick but this book is probably her hottest yet. H-O-T! She had me hooked from the beginning. I couldn't predict which way the story line was going and for me that's a story seller in and of itself. These characters had depth and a level of realism that a lot of books lack. As do all of Carey's books. I especially love the relationship aspects. Now the countdown begins for Luke's story! Eek!
I downloaded this book with the hopes of a cute palette cleanser, and what I got was all that and more! I did not expect some decent spice, and an ending that made my eyes glossy. This was such a cute book!!
I loved The Other Side of Someday by Carey Heywood. It was a realistic love story most of us ordinary people experience. She showed how very real, ordinary people can have the fairytale forever love. It is all a matter of seeing the beauty of finding that one person that makes your beat to a new pace. Finding a person worthy of building a life with. A partner that will love you through the ups and downs, no matter what. I have to commend Carey for reminding us how important love is in our lives.
Courtney Grayson is having the worst day of her life. That day starts out with her fretting that she forgot to turn off the stove. The day spirals out of control from that point. She gets fired from her job, she has a flat tire in the pouring down rain, and when she goes to pay for the tire, her bank has rejected the card transaction. An act of kindness from the older mechanic that repaired her tire will send her on her way with aa better outlook. She feels like this act of kindness is the turning point in her day, that is, until she arrives home. She finds her fiancé of eight years in bed with another woman. Her day has gone from the worst day to the most devastating day of her life.
That devastating day and the one act of kindness will set Courtney Grayson on a new path in life. The path she was destined to take. A path that will teach her about herself and her deepest desires. A path that will lead her to Clay Bradshaw.
She will find her inner strength, open her eyes to new possibilities, grow as an individual, and find the inner confidence she never knew she had. She will find a love that will respect her individuality, cherish her for who she is, and love her no matter what.
Clay Bradshaw is your ordinary average Joe. Sure he’s one of the sexiest men that Courtney has ever met. But sexy guys are a dime a dozen. What makes Clay special is that he is an ordinary guy, has an ordinary job, comes from a loving middle class family, and values all those precious things in his life.
Clay has never been in love or had a steady relationship. Once he gets to know Courtney he knows that she is the girl for him. He understands that she needs to heal from her past relationship. She needs to find herself again. He will be patient, bide his time, and show her that she can always depend on him. He will show her how much he values her as an individual. He will show her how important she is. He will give her his heart.
Courtney and Clay’s relationship is a slow and beautiful build. We see this couple go from flirty attraction to friendship. Their friendship moves onto dating. From dating to becoming a couple. Once they become a couple they build a beautiful life together.
The Other Side of Someday is a story that we all want to experience. I highly recommend this book.
What an amazing, uplifting story about life after you start living your ‘someday.’ When Courtney has the worst day in the history of days, I mean, everything bad that could happen, happened to this poor woman, she is left alone. It’s almost like starting completely fresh. She no longer has a fiancé, or a job, or a place to live, or even cell phone. Life as she has known it for the past eight years has been completely turned on it’s head, and surprisingly, she handles it very well. Sometimes, life throws so much at you at once, you just have to deal. She starts to reflect on her relationship with her former fiancé, Michael and slowly starts to realize that her relationship with him was not healthy. She wasn’t herself with him. They were both just going through the motions of what a relationship should be, not really connecting.
I loved how Courtney was described. She’s realistic, adorable, and funny. She has her own little quirks that round out the story so nicely. I love that she isn’t afraid to speak her mind. That’s so refreshing in a character, and her being thirty, it really rings true for me. I remember being a lot more pensive in my twenties, wondering if I was ‘doing the right thing’ and now, much like Courtney, after her failure of a relationship, she starts to peel the layers of who she wants to be and isn’t afraid to just do that, be herself.
After a series of crazy events, Courtney meets Clay. A gorgeous mechanic, or so she thinks, and they immediately hit it off. Of course, who wouldn’t love a quirky blonde who blushes and flirts? I love how they aren’t afraid to speak openly to each other. They are in their thirties, and have certainly learned from their past fuck-ups. They begin their relationship with the truth, no lying and no hiding. This is something that’s hard to do if you don’t already know who you are and who you want to be. Both of these characters have endured times in their lives that they are not proud of who they were, and starting out fresh with each other proves to be the winning ticket. I loved how, dare I say, Alpha Clay is. He is strong, and a Southern Gentleman in public, but he is very ‘take what I want’ in the bedroom. Courtney and Clay’s chemistry is off the charts, but there is a nice balance of everyday life, some extreme situations, loving friends, and the start of someday.
I absolutely loved this romance. It was sweet, and really hit home for me. It’s nice to read about characters that you share similarities with. Characters that are bright, and vivid, and yet realistic. They all have their faults, just like anyone, but they own up to them and try to make their lives worth living. That’s all you can try to do. It was a beautiful story that came full circle, which I absolutely love about Carey’s writing. She always leaves me with a smile on my face.
I received this book as an ARC, in exchange for an honest review.
I absolutely loved this book. I had no doubt, coming from Carey Heywood. So far, every book that I have read of hers, was great, and a 5 star.
I was so excited to learn about this book, I started it right away. And finished it quick. It was to hard to put down.
I felt like I was in the book with these characters, I was so connected to them. I loved them all. I hated Mike at first, and still despises what he did. But I am also thankful, because had he not, this book what not have been so damn good. So in the end I actually felt sorry for him. Kinda like, his loss, idiot. lol
I fell in love with Clay immediately. He was fricken amazing. Not sure there is anything I would want to change about him. He's perfect; HOT, brains, cocky yet romantic, charming, sincere, big heart, great size wood, HAHA, and knows how to treat a woman. Taking care of a child not yours, and doing what he done, at his young age, you will hardly ever see in a lifetime. That right there means he was a keeper. In the end what him and Maggie did as the surprise for her, was out of this world, 100% swoon worthy. At least it would have been for me, lol. He always takes into consideration her feelings, and what she wants, and is ALWAYS showing her compassion. I mean, where the hell will you find someone like him. Because although I have a great husband, some things I could get used to if he did them, lol. My husband doesn't care to see me reading all the time, but I don't give a damn. Like I told him, it's better than me not home, are in a bar somewhere. SO suck the shit up!!! Anyway... lol
Courtney was a lovely, honest, hard working, giving, independent young lady. I think I feel in love with her as well, haha She was just perfect. And there is nothing I can say bad about her either.
The story was great, HOT, couldn't finish the book fast enough. I didn't want it to ever end.
It's a start of a series. But I really would love to hear more about Clay and Courtney, like the future, and what is ahead. Because I know it will be great.
Thank you Carey for your trust in giving me the ARC!!!! I am forever grateful. You have a life long fan here :)
~Read on Behalf of Give Me Books~ What can I say but Carey Heywood deliver's us another Amazing Story that will capture and stay in your heart indefinitely. Once I started reading The Other Side of Someday, it took a hold of me and everything else I had to do disappeared because I needed to know how this would end. This is a story of appreciating the good and the bad life throws at you because that could mean a second chance to many things especially at love. 5 stars
Courtney had just experienced the worst day of her life but little does she know that it could lead her to the best day of her life... Clay too busy occupied with his business and trying to persuade his dad to sell his business has no time for love or at least not until Courtney walked into his life. Their first encounter has me giggling and gave me hope that their friendship/relationship would blossom into something beautiful and let me tell you that Carey Heywood does not disappoint us. They never expected to find each other but life had other plans for them! Courtney has built walls around her fragile heart refusing to trust another man, but Clay really wanted to get to know her and he was going to stop at nothing until her walls came down so he could touch her heart. As we read and get to know Courtney & Clay we come to see that they compliment each other in many ways and get to see what a beautiful thing they have together.
This story has a bit of everything needed to make it unforgettable: patience, drama, forgiveness, passion, sex(very much needed) and allowing love in again. Thank you Carey Heywood for another Amazing Beautiful Love Story and can't wait for what else you have in stored for us.
Courtney is having the worst day ever. In the matter of what seems like minutes everything comes crashing down around her. She lost her job, her fiancé and she now has a flat tire...in the rain. Courtney was able to change her flat and get to a nearby garage, dripping wet and credit declined she was defeated until the older man at the garage gave her the tire. Courtney brushed herself off, figured some things out and went back to pay back the man at the garage, he was the one glimmer of hope she had in her epic day from hell. Who knew a flat tire could lead to such beautiful things? The old man at the garage was not there, but a gorgeous hunk of....Clay was. Clay is fabulous, you will want to jump through the pages and devour him!
I adore Courtney and Clay together! I love how these two are not billionaires, they are not perfect, they have real life problems. Carey has a great flow to her stories and has a way of weaving the perfect blend of sweet and sassy. Courtney and Clay are so sweet they would give you a tooth ache, but between the sheets...ooh la la they can light a fire they are so hot and Christ they made me want to find a really big window!!!
I love the surrounding stories, especially sweet little Maggie. There is a good group of secondary characters that I cannot wait to continue my "Carolina Days" with. I will not call this a beach read, I am going to call it a rainy day read because it will make you warm and fuzzy inside. You will want to curl up under a blanket, dive in and not stop until you are done.
So yeah, I'm on a bit of a Carey Heywood binge it would appear! After reading Him and Her I was directed to her latest series, Carolina Days, with a new release coming in September. I have to say that I am thoroughly enjoying these stories.
Clay and Courtney are so easy to love. Courtney ends up at the mechanic during her worst day ever having it compounded by the fact that her bank card is declined and is unable to pay for repairs. The sweet old mechanic tells her no problem and she's on her way. Well that really doesn't sit well with Courtney and she makes her way back to the garage. Only this time the sweet old man that took care of her initially is not there. But his son, Clay is. Was this story maybe a little predictable? Probably. But it was really fun.
Clay's done some damage in his time and is fine with leading a solitary life. He's surrounded by his family and he's good with that. He probably doesn't deserve to find love anyway. Well then it's a good thing love found him.
I really did love Courtney and Clay. I enjoyed the pace of their relationship. I loved how comfortable they were with each other. Even though they both had their reasons to be uncomfortable forming a relationship based on their past experiences. Just a really good read that leaves you feeling good! Give this series a try.
I absolutely loved The Other Side of Someday! It was a great and fun summer beach book. Carey, as usual, write an authentic tale of two people who find each other and along the way find themselves. I loved Clay and Courtney and the way the complimented each other. She was having the worst day of her life when a random person did a good deed and helped her out. Later, when she repaid that good deed, she met Clay and her life was never the same and neither was his! It follows their journey of love, sex (wow!) and relationships. I loved how she incorporated the other relationships with his parents, her mother, and his niece. I cannot wait to read Luke’s story.
I met Carey at the Indies Invade Philly book signing in June. She is an amazing person and I was so excited that I got to spend the day “assisting her”, even though I had to hear the 495 bridge detour story 46 times (LOL). I felt a little guilty that I hadn’t read any of her books prior to that, but I remedied that as soon as I got home. We had an amazing time in our little corner of the world. She is the best author ever ever, wink!
Have you ever had one of those days? When you go to work, you are accused of stealing. On your way home after losing your job, you have a flat tire –in the middle of a torrential downpour, of course. You change your tire and make it to a small garage to buy a new tire, and your credit card is declined. Then, finally, you make it home, only to find your fiancé and your friend having a 'fun time' in your bed. That is what happened to Courtney in the matter of a few short hours. When Courtney returns to the garage to pay the owner for the tire he gave her, she meets Clayton, the owner’s son, who is filling in while his father recuperates after an accident. Clay is immediately attracted to Courtney, but Courtney is not interested in another relationship when her life is in such shambles. Clay has his work cut out for him as he sets out to get to know Courtney, woo her, and rebuild her trust and self-confidence. This is such a beautiful, tender, touching book, filled with love and character growth. I highly recommend this book to all true romantics (18+ due to sexual content.
I was provided a copy of this book for an honest but not necessarily favorable review.
Carey does it again, she has such a talent for sucking you in right from the very beginning and making her characters so relatable. I absolutely love Courtney and Clay and the story that unfolds in The Other Side of Someday.
Courtney Grayson doesn't want to fall in love- she's been there, done that and isn't ready right now, but maybe someday? Clay Bradshaw doesn't even know the meaning of love and doesn't see it ever happening for him, but maybe someday? Life doesn't always go as we have it mapped or planned out and love just might find Courtney and Clay on the other side of someday.
But this book is more than a love story...it's a book of finding yourself, being your own person, appreciating what life gives you even with the ups and downs. Life is uncertain- we are all aware of that but life seems a little better when you share those uncertain times with someone else.
So don't walk....RUN to the bookstore to get this one (OK, yes I know in this world of technology bookstores aren't necessary, but it's a good thought).
LOVE LOVE LOVE this book! This very well my be my new favorite Carey book. And that's saying something because BETTER is #1 right now.
This book is so sweet, and so hopeful. It makes you believe in happily ever after.
Courtney just had the worst day of her life. At this point in time, she feels lost, hurt and fairly sure that life has something against her. She's smart, caring and has the kind of best friend every girl needs.
Clay is all man. He's good with his mind and his hands. When he meets Courtney, she knocks him off his feet and for the first time, he wants more than a one night stand. He has a past he's ashamed of, and fears that Courtney won't be able to see past it.
Their relationship is beautiful to watch develope. They genuinely care about each other. The give and take between them is very smooth, and you almost forget that they are fictional characters.
This book is simply beautiful. There are definitely steamy sex scenes, but that's not what makes this book so good. The fact that it's a Carey book is what makes it so.
3.5*** This was an enjoyable story. It flowed well enough, the characters were great. There was some drama, plenty of sexy times. I would've liked more answers from her ex fiancé even though Courtney didn't. She was very brave and head strong and eager not to let it drag her down and I admired her for that but I think she would've had more closure and less self doubt if she got some answers. Even though it's in dual POV Clay still seems a bit of a mystery to me. Sure he delves into a past mistake of his that's pretty messed up. You also know he has a rough relationship with his sister (she has her own issues) and she has let him down a lot but there isn't much backstory as to the why exactly. More was needed about her especially towards the end. Clay was definitely a smart caring guy and wasn't pushy towards Courtney. He was very sweet and caring. Epilogue was good but I needed a bit more.I had to mark down for some unfinished business and questions I would've liked answered. With that aside it was an okay read but could've gone from good to great for me.
Carey Heywood's unique writing style has always had me a fan of her work. The Other Side of Someday is no exception. From the very first chapter we're thrown into Courtney's world. It also happens to be the worst day of her life.
While this is a romance, it's also so much more than that. After her life is left in turmoil, Courtney is left with some major changes and decisions to make. Love is the furthest thing on her agenda. But when life throws a sexy man into your path, what are you supposed to do?
Clay was just trying to help out his dad after an unfortunate accident left him laid up. The last thing he was expecting was Courtney to cross his path. The do-gooder in him just can't walk away from her. Clay is sweet and sexy and totally made me swoon.
I love every book Carey writes, this one was such a delight. A wonderful standalone that just makes you feel good when you finish the very last page. Sexy and satisfying, I give The Other Side of Someday 4.5 stars.
I had the pleasure of reading this book in its early stages and I was a HUGE Fan of it even before it was finished. I can't help but be in awe of Carey's ability to draw you in and rapt you with her storytelling. I was hooked from the first page and I didn't stop reading until there were no words left. This story has everything you hope for when wanting to read a great romance. It had love, drama, steam, friendship and everything in between.
I absolutely LOVED The Other Side of Someday!!!! Carey has a way to pull you in right from page one. At 30 Courtney's life as she knows it kind of crumbles. A Lost job and a jerk fiance start that ball rolling. Then in walks Clay. Good Lord above! Sweet, sexy and swoon worthy Clay...I just could not get enough of him (Somebody find me a Clay!). Sparks fly, but like with any relationship there are a few highs and lows. The support they show each other is incredible. Do yourself a favor and follow their journey. Thank you Carey for an AMAZING book! :)
**I received this book as an ARC, in exchange for an honest review**
4.5 Star, I loved Clay and Courtney all the characters are well written and the story was easy to follow. You will fall for Clay immediately, he gives every girl hope that a bad day can turn into the rest of your life. Courtney is strong throughout the book no matter what is thrown at her. The Other Side of Someday was a great start to a series, I look forward to read Luke's story.
I would like to thank Carey for her trust in giving me the ARC!
An awesome read. Carey's books are never easy to put down once you pick them up. The Other Side of Someday is such a wonderful story filled with love, loss, heartache and passion. I could not get enough of it. Courtney Grayson is done with love when her heart gets ripped out by her fiancé, Mike. But then, all of a sudden, she is faced with an enticing mechanic, Clay Bradshaw. Clay gave up on love after living life with a rotating door flowing with women until, he meets Courtney. Can he reopen her heart to love again? I am soooo looking forward to book 2. Great job Carey!
