Now that Catherine has access to his compound she must beat a countdown and hope she finds the answers she seeks. Working under pressure she must watch her back, not only because she's an agent in the enemies house, but because Tristian isn't going to let her go easily and Kai isn't going to let him take her back.

What happens when she finds that the case isn't all that it seemed and Kai isn't who she thought he was?

Who doesn’t like a mafia X FBI dark romance?!

In this book we are following Catherine who just got the case that could make her whole career. She needs to get intel on a Kai and figure out why his drug is now killing high profile officials. Her initial plan goes out the window when her first undercover meet up with Kai and his brother takes a turn.

This book was so so fun! It’s a great entry level book for these wanting to dip their toes into dark romance. Also the love interest in this book ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

This book has the perfect Mafia Romance formula.

But also, I feel like it’s for everyone so even if you don’t like Dark Romance you could still enjoy this book with no issues.

It was like an action movie was made into a book + the romance & spicy elements. Chef 👩‍🍳 kiss 💋!

I have admit I was kinda into the wrong guy at first but Kai our MMC won my heart right along with the FMC heart.

This book has a very interesting concept, so many good characters and a wonderful plot twist!

It is also this Author’s debut novel!

I can’t wait for book 2 💕🫶🏽

A year later we see her kidnapped by Kai. With access to his compound, she is hoping to find answers to the syndicate case. We know that Tristan isn't going to let her go, but Kai also will not let Tristan have her. What happens when she finds that the case isn't all that it seemed and Kai isn't who she thought he was?

This book gave me fast and furious vibes, in the since that the criminal is super lovable and a genuine good person. It was so easy to read and the pacing was incredible. This is more of a mafia romance, but honestly if you are into romance at all, you will enjoy this book. Can't wait for book two! PSA, my friend wrote this and I am extremely proud of her!!

A golden retriever mmc who is also an obsessed mafia boss? Sign me up 🤩 this book EXCEEDED my expectations! I do wish the ending had a some more detail on what happened before the epilogue but honestly this was a solid 4 star book. Will definitely be reading the next book in the series!
