August 12, 2025Este libro lo empece este libro con muchas expectativas y al principio me estaba gustando mucho pero nunca pude conectar con el personaje de Genevieve, ella tenía mucho para sanar en su corazón por los temas de abandono que sufrió por su padre y es como que ella solo estaba enfocada en eso y era un poquito tedioso que este constantemente haciendo que todo gire en eso.
Finn me gusto y era muy dulce como amigo y pareja y algo que destaco de el es que cuando se dió cuenta que su relación era solo sexual quiso cambiarlo porque el quería a Genevieve como mujer y amor de su vida y no quería que se sintiera usada.

This series just keeps getting better & better!
This is the 4th installment in Tracy Leigh’s “Sycamore Falls” series. In this book, we find best friends, Finn & Genevieve, who have known each other since they’ve both been in diapers. Growing up together means they know each other better than they know themselves.
Genevieve got married to Ethan, which, unfortunately, ended in divorce. All her life she’s wanted a family of her own, but now that she’s back in Sycamore Falls without a husband, she realizes that the only way to make this happen is to have a baby on her own. IUI’s and IVF’s are very expensive and there’s no guarantee it’ll take after one try. Her sister, Claire, tells her to just pick someone random and “Do it the old fashioned way!” The more Genevieve thinks about, the more she gets onboard with the idea. So together, Claire & Genevieve start putting together a list of potential “Sperm Donor” prospects from the available men around town.
But one name Genevieve leaves off the list (on purpose) is Finn. As her best friend, she’ll need his support after the baby comes, and she wants to make sure she doesn’t blur any lines if she were to have his baby. She’s adamant she wants to do this without the sperm donor being in her life or without the child (or anyone else for that matter) to know who the father is.
Finn comes to her work one morning, as usual, with two coffees. Genevieve has accidentally left the “list” on her desk, and before she can grab it, Finn sees it. He asks her about it & instead of lying, she confesses her plan to him. He’s kind of put out that she hasn’t put his name on the list, so after thinking about it all day, Finn shows up at Genevieve’s house to tell her to consider him as her potential donor.
But, can this really work? Would this destroy Finn and Genevieve’s friendship? There’s a lot of factors to consider, as well as a lot of questions to be asked and answered.
I love this series so much! The secondary characters are fantastic, and I love the whole feel of the small town community! It’s a must read, especially if you’ve read any of the other books in this series!

Hands down this is my top read of 2025!
This is one of those stories that you think is a heartfelt steamy read of a woman looking for a baby daddy, but it’s much more than that!
The premise of this story was simple, our heroine Gen is divorced, unattached and discouraged by love. She wants a baby, but she soon discovers that there are certain challenges and it’s not that easy.
Soo… she made a list…and she checked it twice…
B-U-T when she shares said list with her bestie Finn he has objections…his name is not on it.
And this is where the story becomes absolutely deliciously yummy!!
Brimming with all the feels, this author proves that hands down she’s a master wordsmith and she can take a simple story and make it and extraordinary one. These characters were absolutely amazing!
Finn was the complete package! Hot firefighter,(my favorite)gorgeous, a good friend and loyal to a T!
Gen is lovable, a true friend and puts others before her…that proves to be an interesting point in the story!
There was so much passion, so much intensity between them . I was completely unprepared for how easily I found them to be so lovable,relatable, and with so much hear! Moreover, they certainly had all the qualifying skills to get the job done…if yaknowwhatimean😘
Once Gen and Finn come to certain contractual agreements I felt I was front and center on a passionate, emotional journey about the ups and downs of trying to have a baby. It was a perfect blend of humor, sexual tension and steamy naughty encounters.
However at the heart of it all, this was a poignant complex story that was more than a romance between best friends. It was a story of resilience and the power of love where you least expect it!

Genevieve had always wanted a baby. But after six years of marriage, she was single again. She may have sworn off love, but she still wanted a baby. The problem was, she couldn't afford IVF. Or any other medical options, really. Then a friend suggested she just make a baby the old fashioned way.
So she made a list of possible, um, donors. Her hot firefighter best friend Finn saw her list. And he wanted her to add his name to it.
So many complications! The thought of being with him that way really scared Genevieve. She wanted to have a baby on her own, and she knew that Finn would want to be involved. And she didn't want to lose him as a friend. He was too important to her.
Finn would support Gen in whatever she wanted to do, and help in any way he could. And the more he thought about it, the less he liked the thought of someone who barely knew her doing this important thing for her.

Tracy Leigh delivers another heartwarming story in the Sycamore Falls series. I am really loving this small-town series with the Lawrence siblings.
Finn has been one of the brothers I couldn't wait to read about because he's former military who is now a fireman, which is like catnip for my reading! Finn and Genevieve's story is quite emotional on both sides. Especially for Genevieve with her husband suddenly telling her he's fallen out of love with her and into love with someone else. Compounding that is her father's abandonment of the family when she was just six, and here's a girl who has no examples that true love can and does exist.
I really loved how steadfast Finn was beside Genevieve on her journey to becoming a mother. And I'm not going to lie, the "schmexy times" in their quest to conceive were oh so steamy! Finn knew exactly how to please Genevieve, something her husband never mastered at all. And my heart went out to Genevieve for all the emotions she's been trying to suppress her whole life because she was so afraid of being left behind again.
So much love for all of Finn and Genevieve's family for sticking by them, offering sage advice, or just a pint of beer when needed. This story left me with such a huge happy smile on my face! I can't wait to catch up with Finn, Genevieve and their Little Bean in the next book!

Once again Tracy Leigh blows me away with another book. I love her small town romance and can't wait to see what comes next. Finn and Genevie have been friends since they were little. Resolved to only being friends because neither of them want to lose that friendship. They are happy with the way things are that is until Finn finds a list of qualities that Genevieve is looking for in a potential baby daddy. Finn is hurt that he is not on the list. He has always been there for her when no other man has. What happens when he asks Gen to have his name be the only one on the list? Genevieve has been let down by men her entire life. Her father left without a word then her husband left her for someone else. She feels like she is not worthy of love and is resigned to be by herself. She wants a baby and is determined to do it by herself. She doesn't need a man to leave her child like she has been left. She sets about this journey with Finn and a whole list of rules but Finn being Finn begins to break down those walls that she built so high. He shows her not with words but actions that he is not like the other men who have let her down and that no matter how hard she tries he is not leaving her. This is a story about friendship, love and what you are willing to do for the person that you love. I can't say enough on how good this book is and it definitely deserves more than 5 stars.

They have always been best friends, the one the other could count on. Fresh out of a divorce she doesn’t want it to derail her plans to have a family so she is exploring potential donors when he finds her list. Something about it upsets him, not that she made the list but that he’s not on it. He convinces himself he’s offering for her benefit, but once they agreed to terms, it is clear there is more going on. He is a hunky firefighter with a heart of gold has been her best friend and the guy she could always count on. She knows he’s good looking, but she never wanted to cross the line and risk losing him. She is gorgeous and full of curves and of course he’s noticed, noticed and warned all his buddies off of her. Now that they have pushed the boundaries of their relationship it’s forcing them to look at everything in a new light. Especially when the baby making is as hot and steamy as either has ever experienced. This is a great story for this trope. You get so much more than the basic realizing what has always been in front of you…. It is sweet. It is tender, it is hot and spicy, it is literally everyone else in your life realizing what is going on before you do. When they finally get it right they get it so right and it is everything you hope for.

This is a small town romance set in Sycamore Falls and is all about the brothers of the Lawrence family. It's always fun to read a series about a group of hot men.
We start the series off with Finn, a firefighter and his best friend Genevieve. Being nosey, he stumbled across her list of potential sperm donors. Not seeing his own name he doesn't understand this. He's her best friend!
Genevieve wants to have a baby of her own but without yet another man leaving her. She has decided to do it on her own but Finn, her best friend, volunteers his services. She agrees as long as they stay just best friends when it's over.
I saw red flags from the beginning and I wasn't pleased that she would think it was a good idea for herself, her best friend, and this innocent baby. It took me a while to warm up to Genevieve because of this. It just seems very cold.
I did love watching their deep friendship morphed into love. Im a romantic and I can't help myself. It lead to a warm HEA and that's why I read romance.
Great writing and, for the most part, great plot. The side characters are likeable and fun. I am looking forward to the next addition to the series and recommend that all of you small town romantics join me.

To know anything about Tracy Leigh is to know she loves to play with the heartstrings. Friends with Baby Benefits does not delve away from that practice. But for our characters, what we may think feels like a pull can sometimes require a push!
Finn and Genevieve have always been friends, even if they kept that friendship on the safe side. But what happens when an accidental revelation falls in a fella's lap? Worst, what happens when that fella realizes he is not a part of the solution? As any good friend would do, they insert themself into the mix. But not all mixes have the same “ingredients”. Some don’t need love, or commitment or passion. Some are designed to just get the job done. Oh wait, this is a Tracy Leigh story…so trust there is a reason she blends them well. And you will absolutely love the end results.
The best endings are the ones where we know what should happen and are still pleasantly surprised when it does. Thus, the allure of Friends with Baby Benefits and the joy of the friends figuring it all out

I say this after every book… T.K. Has done it again, leaves you wanting more.
Gen has a very valid reason for wanting to go into motherhood single and unattached. Wanting a family and an unconditional love from her child is her dream. And now her goal after coming out of a marriage because her husband falls in love with someone else.
Finn on the other hand has never wanted to settle down or have a family, until he finds a list he’s not on. Finn offers everything Gen wants but also gives her what she doesn’t realize she needs too.
Chemistry is off the charts, they just fit, everything feels right and leaves both Finn and Gen craving more. But they have a deal, an agreement, but the deal has changed to reach the goal. What’s happens when you realize everything you really wanted isn’t part of the deal. Gen has every reason to walk away once she has what she wanted but now that’s changed too. Fear controls us more than we realize but if you can take that the leap the reward is worth it.

I knew this story would have a happy ending. Other than the title, I was clueless to the journey to reach the happily ever after. The journey was so much fun. I got to experience so many emotions.
However, frustration and irritation were not what I expected. Yet, those emotions made for a perfect story. Gen and Finn have been best friends forever. They don't want to loose that connection. I get it, but her skiddish ways had me pulling my hair out. Finn has the patience of a saint.
I wanted to happy dance when he convinced her that he should be her baby daddy. HOLY! MOLY! Did the pages heat up. If there is such thing as a perfect match in the bedroom they are it. Watching the struggle with her guidelines was so much fun.
I couldn't wait to see what happened when she saw the light. She had to deal with a lot of issues first, but it only made the realization even sweeter.

Tracy delivers another amazing rom com that will have you laughing, swooning and falling in love with the characters.
Genevieve is done with love and is on mission to fulfill her desire to become a mom. She is a strong, determined and a bit stubborn.
Finn is a firefighter and good man. He puts others before himself, is loyal and a good man.
As they put their plan together they convince themselves that feelings won’t get in the way. Haha…famous last words! Their friendship to more is really beautifully written. Tracy pulls out all the emotions in her stories and this one no exception.
The banter between this two is fantastic. The supporting characters bring so much to the story.

I’m liking this series, Sycamore Falls, about a small town and the Lawrence family.
Finn is one of the brothers, a firefighter and best friend to Genevieve. He finds her list of potential sperm donors and is a bit hurt that his name isn’t on it.
Genevieve only wants one thing, to have a baby and to do it on her own. She’s tired of all the men of her life leaving her and is determined to be a mom. When Finn, her best friend offers her he will do it, she agrees with the stipulation that after she gets pregnant they will return to just being friends. But their hearts have a different plan.
Loved watching them fall more in love with each other and fighting their feelings.
Can’t wait for more in this series.

Friends with Baby Benefits by Tracy Leigh is the fourth book in the Sycamore Falls series and it was hands down my absolute favorite! I seriously loved every single second while reading it. I could not wait for Finn’s story and let me just say it was so worth the wait.
Finn and Genevieve were two amazing characters. Their friendship was so rock solid that you couldn’t help but root for them to fall in love. I fell for Finn from the very beginning-he was just so steady and how he knew Genevieve like the back of his hand. Their chemistry was palpable and their journey to a HEA was one I won’t forget.
Overall, I really enjoyed reading this story. I loved the storyline, and the characters were real and relatable. Cannot wait to read more from Ms. Leigh!

A wonderful addition to Leigh's Sycamore Falls series. Leigh delivers a wonderful read of romance that weaves the best of emotions from the reader. Our main characters are best friends Finn and Genevieve who've known each other since forever and obviously know each other better than anyone. Genevieve married but the marriage didn't work and now she's back in Sycamore Falls still wanting the family she's always dreamed of but feeling like it's further away than ever, or is it?!? I love the saga that ensues. The storyline flows wonderfully, and the characters are amazing. Overall, this is a fun and captivating romance that will give you all the feels and have you wanting more!

I love the small town series by Tracy Leigh! This book did not disappoint.
Genevieve is determined to have a baby on her own. I loved her best friend Finn from the start and was excited when he finally convinced her to have his baby.
This story has everything from friendship and tenderness to heat and passion. I devoured this book so quickly. I loved how the relationship developed from friends to lovers.
If you're debating whether or not to read this, you should definitely pick it up. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series!.

I absolutely loved this book. Finn and Gen are such a great match. Seeing these two be everything for each other and still oblivious to their deeper feelings was entertaining and ramped up the tension. I loved how Finn didn't give up on her or let her push him away entirely, that he knew her better than she knew herself.
These two had such a deep friendship that they were too busy being one another's person to realize it was love all along.

Best friends to lovers is one of my favorite genres because friendship is a great foundation for romance. Friends with Baby Benefits was a great read by Tracy Leigh and T.K. Leigh. Genevieve returns to Sycamore Falls after her divorce and her dream is to have a baby. IVF is out of the question so she makes a donor list leaving her best friend, sexy firefighter Finn off the list. However, when Finn accidentally sees her list, he convinces her he should be the only name on that list. Fantastic read!
