HIS SADDLE IS WAITING…

Reeling from a hard breakup is never fun. So what do the girls do? They drag me out from under my rock for a girl's weekend. Only we aren't going to the cabin like I had expected. Oh no.

Everything reminds me of him, and I can't help but feel jealous of every couple I see as we wander along the strip. The girls are having fun, and I'm over here wishing I could get over him.

"The only way you'll get over a man is to get under another." The wise words of Asher Lee, my best friend.

Dallas Ryan. Say. No. More.
If there was anyone worth getting under, it was him, and I would stay under him until I needed to come up for air.
He believes me to be this innocent and delicate little flower, ready to be plucked and ruined. But I have secrets of my own, and I can't wait to tell him.

What happens in Vegas... Well, you know the rest...

The Stallion is the second book in the Men Under Revue series and once again, I’m obsessed! 😆 The Bloke was an amazing read, and The Stallion was just as fabulous! Dallas and Bria have completely stolen my heart. Dallas is the ultimate golden retriever book boyfriend, and Bria is a fierce, feisty heroine. I adored them both. The story is fast-paced, easy to read, and Jacklyn’s writing style is just so enjoyable. I loved every single second. And that twist at the end? Perfection! 😘

Tropes for this one:
✅ Pierced MMC
✅ Touch her and 💀
✅ Secret society
✅ Marriage of convenience
✅ “My wife”
✅ Possessive MMC and FMC
✅ Forced proximity

I 10000% recommend this book! I need the rest of this series ASAP 😭🖤

Dallas, Dallas, Dallas…what can I say? That man is absolutely fucking delicious. Right from the beginning he was delicious; no hesitation on pulling the trigger and going after what he wants. He was persistent…his choice in nicknames? Left something to be desired, he had a fascination with the nickname wifey that made my skin absolutely crawl. But his nickname sweet girl made me feral.

Also he can dance for me ALL day.

Bria….she is so unhinged I’m just as in love with her as Dallas. She is so unhinged she LITERALLY smiled like a proud fucking toddler when she was busted 😂😂 like “look, I did that” proud fucking smile 😂😂💀

Bria and Dallas are literally made for one another. The perfect couple, like they say in all the murder books “the couple who slay together stay together.”

As a reread I did it as an audio and it was just as delicious! Caden has always been one of my favorite narrators and he definitely did amazing on Dallas. Amanda definitely did Bria justice. You can hear the emotions Bria is portraying in the scenes. When I reread again it’ll definitely be done by audio!

Ever since I first heard Caden Hart in Kage he has slowly been becoming one of my favorite new male narrators. And his portrayal of Dallas just sealed him being in my top 10 favorite male narrators. This is also the first audiobook for me with Amanda L’ Orien, I don’t believe I’ve heard any of her narrations before and that’s something I love whenever I get to hear new narrators I’ve not heard before because she absolutely just did a phenomenal job as our FMC Bria. Kind of quick a little overview of the book is Bria is the cheerleading captain of the university. She is going to and she is recently just exited a six year relationship so to try and cheer her up her friends take her to Vegas and while she’s there, they are at club where they meet our MMC, Dallas, who is a male dancer there and he’s also a hired unaliver and leader of a secret society and once he lays his eyes on on Bria, he is completely utterly obsessed with her and wants nothing more than to make her his. And those are the type of MMC that we love to see, we all love to see the obsessive just first glance they’re like you’re mine now and I will do whatever I need to do to prove that to you, those are the MMC‘s I love reading about. And if you think Dallas is the only unhinged one, you would be completely wrong because Bria is just as completely unhinged as he is and that’s what makes them so freaking perfect together. This is just one of those stories that once you get into it there’s no backing away. There’s no stopping. You have to finish it from the time you started it because you don’t want to put it down because you are just so taken in that moment. This has some of my favorite tropes in it like marriage of convenience, secret societies, instant lust, force proximity, he falls first and both of them are unhinged. Thank you so much again to bluenose audio for allowing me to be a part of their team. I had such a great time with this one, and I can’t wait to see where the author goes with the remainder of the series!

Bria & Dallas were made for each other!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

Tropes include:
One night stand
Lust at first sight
Dark past
Secret society
Violence
Unhinged
Marriage of convenience
Forced proximity
Slight enemies to lovers
Banter
Spicy dancers

Bria & Dallas have INSANE chemistry!
I love them so much!

They have both overcome obstacles in their past that tried to define them and both of them have come out the other end, owning their identities.

Dallas F***king Ryan! He knows what he wants and he goes straight for it! He’s worked hard to get his position, and he wants Bria, no limits.
I just love Dallas’ unwavering love for Bria. He never backs down, he always supports Bria and shows her how she’s meant to be worshipped.

Bria is probably up there as one of all time favourite FMCs! I love the character growth! By the end of the book she really fights for her identity and isn’t afraid to let everyone know who the f***k she is! She is unpredictable, unwavering and unstoppable when it comes to Dallas!

These two together are so hot! They come together in an explosion of fire and passion, with unshakable loyalty and love for each other. ❤️‍🔥

Can’t wait for book 3!

Happy reading

I just love this series so far. Dallas did not disappoint. What a man. I love how he gave absolutely no fs. He sees what he wants, and he goes for it no hesitation and I love a man like that. He is such a boss and alpha man.

Bria is truly something else in the best way. She was not at all what I expected her to be. This girl is unhinged and I lowkey love when we see that in the FMC and not just the MMC. Safe to say it was a fun time to read about her. She is not someone to let anyone walk all over her and I appreciate that.

I loved the secret society aspect and how that pertained to the plot. The missions were so much fun to read about and kept me on my toes. No doubt Dallas and Bria are a match made in heaven. They just work together so well. I enjoyed the plot twist too. Not what I was expecting to happen, and I love being caught off guard. As always, the spice was so good. Dallas is a dirty man and so sexy. I loved their dance scenes together. They tension and chemistry was insane.

Thank you, Jacklyn, for letting me ARC read this book. Such a fun time as always and I am excited to read the next one.

The Stallion is yet another fun, sexy, dance-infused dark romance by Jacklyn Parker, and I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t just as entertaining as book one, The Bloke. It brings the same spice, mystery, and heart-thumping romance that made the first book so addictive.

This time, the story leans into an accidental marriage trope, where our leading man, Dallas, ropes Bria into one hot, drunken night that turns into a life-changing moment. Their electric chemistry crackles through every chapter, and Dallas’s persistence in claiming Bria as his wife was definitely a highlight for me.

The story begins with Dallas, leader of the MUR, performing when he spots Bria for the first time. There’s instant attraction, and later, fate (and a lot of alcohol) bring them together again. What follows is a whirlwind: a drunken hookup, a surprise marriage on paper, and the revelation that Dallas needed a wife to keep his leadership role.

When Bria discovers the truth, chaos and passion collide. Moving to Las Vegas with a hot dancer husband wasn’t on her life plan, but destiny had other ideas. As their relationship deepens, love blossoms amidst secrets, power plays, and the challenges of being the leader’s wife. Bria’s decision to stay and take the test proves her strength, leading to the perfect HEA, complete with drama, heat, and heart.

Everything you’d expect from this series is here: passion, tension, and plenty of entertainment. My only gripe (and the reason for my 4-star rating) is that the plot felt a bit predictable, following a similar pattern to The Bloke. A fresh twist would’ve made it an even more exhilarating read.

Still, I loved the ride. Jacklyn Parker once again delivers a sexy, emotional story that keeps you hooked from start to finish. I’m definitely looking forward to reading more from her in the future!

Dallas got the nickname Daddy Dallas from the girls in the group chat honestly. 😉🥵

Dallas Ryan is giving straight Paul Walker as Caleb Mandrake in The Skulls vibes…and nothing beats early 2000’s Paul Walker, y’all. 😍 He starts out cocky, but oh does he grow into his confidence and lose that cocky attitude when he’s older and wiser—jk. He’s still cocky when it comes to his effect on Bria. And I don’t blame him one bit. I have white girl syndrome and can’t dance to save my life, but I’d love to audition to be the understudy for the water dance…ya know, just in case. 😉

Bria is such a strong FMC and I love that she took matters into her own hands and made what was a marriage of convenience for Dallas into a convenience of her own. Who wouldn’t marry a man THAT hott just because?! And I loved the bond she shares with Asher—no judgement, all love and support; true best friends for life. But maybe cut back on the Celsius 😂

Jacklyn does it again in The Stallion with her twisty plot lines and GOD I hope she never changes! Ride Dallas’ pony in this Magic Mike Live inspired dark romance. You won’t regret it!

The Stallion is book number 2 in the Men Under Revue series by Jacklyn Parker. This was only my second Jacklyn Parker book, but it’s safe to say that I am hooked on her writing and this wildly fun series!

The Stallion follows Dallas Ryan, a Vegas male dancer that is also part of a dark secret society. Dallas wants to follow in his father’s footsteps and take a prominent role in the secret society, but in order to do so he has one year to get married. Insert Bria Robins, a competitive cheerleading captain from Phoenix, who finds herself in Vegas to blow off some steam after her boyfriend of 6 years ghosts her. She catches Dallas’ eye during his show and they share a steamy night together. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, right? Turns out that is not the case when Dallas shows up in Phoenix with their marriage license! It’s a spicy, twisty, wild ride from there.

Dallas fricken Ryan, whew! That man had a filthy mouth and I was loving every minute of it. Bria was the ultimate FMC, she was fierce yet vulnerable and she wasn’t going to take anyone’s nonsense. The banter between Dallas and Bria was entertaining and at times felt like their own little version of foreplay. I loved the dancing scenes just as much as I enjoyed the steamier ones. Also, that plot twist is still blowing my mind!

The Stallion is narrated in duet by Amanda L’Orien and Caden Hart. This was my first time listening to both of these narrators and it certainly won’t be my last. Amanda L’Orien portrayed Bria’s sass and vulnerability in a way that just made her feel more relatable. Caden was fantastic as Dallas, he performed Dallas’ dirty mouth in a way that left me blushing. Amanda and Caden had a fantastic chemistry which made the banter such a treat to listen to. I highly recommend grabbing the audio for this one!

Thank you blue nose and the author Jacklyn for this opportunity for be one of the alc listeners for this I enjoy going back to this world again

buckle up it’s a wild one 😉

5⭐️ 🌶️5

The Stallion is exactly what I’ve been looking for in regards to dancer and water performer vibes mixed with dark romance and secret society. Dallas is bold MMC W/ plans, Bria is a spicy FMC, together they’re the missing pieces that stick together perfectly

the twists will keep you hooked! I loved every minute of this read. With each chapter, it uncovers more about each character from big details and small ones.

Dallas is someone who sees what he wants and goes after it with no regrets whatsoever. It’s entertaining to read from start to finish. It’s fast-paced, which is amazing because you get so many details right away.

Bria is what I like to call a one-woman show. She’s amazing in a lot of ways, she and Dallas complete each other

She’s going through whatever she’s experiencing, allowing her to take on this new journey than there’s who’s just there with a smirk lol

I would definitely read this again, I recommend it to anyone who enjoys dark romance with a different twist secret society vibes with a touch of “F around and find out” energy.

The narrators performed this beautifully they brought both characters to life perfectly

Jacklyn’s unique creativity will have you locked in wanting so much more from this series/book. The world she created is unique and very spicy.

ARC/ALC Review

If you thought the first book in this series was good well then hot damn the second book just got even hotter.

Bria Robins is a cheerleader/coach and a badass woman she also had a secret life. When it comes to a really bad breakup her besties decide to take her for a weekend in Las Vegas to get her over her funk and bad breaks and what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. They take her to a male revue show and when she takes a wrong turn she runs into none of then Dallas F*cking Ryan and things happen between them.

Dallas Ryan is a hot as sin goddess and up to know good. He is apart of the secret society and works for a male dance club. He meets Bria when she is at the place he works at she is super drunk and end up getting married. Follows her to where she goes to school at to get her to come back. He would do anything for her and to be able to keep her.

I really liked this book so much. Can’t wait for the next book.

Caden Hart plays Dallas Ryan and he was a new male narrator to me and oh my lord I fell in love with him just the words coming out of his mouth as Dallas had me crying and laughing. He was just right to play Dallas. I will be finding more books he is in.

Amanda L’Orien plays Bria Robins and she was a new female narrator to me and I really loved her voice and her personality. And durning some part of the book where Amanda had to get really angry playing Bria I was like oh my god this is so good.

Thank you Candi Kane PR and Jacklyn Parker for the early chance to read the book. And then thank you to Blue Noise Audio and Jacklyn for allowing me to listen to this before it is released to audio.

Jacklyn did it again. The Stallion is book 2 of the Men Under Revue which is a interconnected Standalone and it was amazing! No it was fire! I loved it. Just like The Bloke she did amazing job with this book as well. I was lucky enough to read this before it was released and I'm so glad she gave me a chance.

Jacklyn can do no wrong in my eyes. Dallas and Bria are number two favorites next to Colby and Sienna and I'm happy they are. I loved Dallas so much and Bria..she was..just amazing!

let's not forget the piercing. Let's just say that was one of the very things I loved. I won't lie.

i encourage everyone to read this book and any other book by Jacklyn. I gave this book 5 stars!!

A nice little unhinged and slightly murdery palette cleanser between series books.

Kind of predicted the plot twist from the beginning though. Good for her.

What a ride!! The fascinating dark secret society in this story is what hooked me right into this book but then the fast paced romance kept me completely engaged between the insane palpable chemistry, sexy dancer scenes, sassy banter, twists and of course the delicious heat!! Jacklyn is a new to me author but I enjoyed this book so much that I immediately went back to listen to book 1 and can’t wait for more of this series already!

Dark Romance
Male Dancer/Cheerleader
Secret Society
Marriage Of Convenience
He Falls First
Forced Proximity

Bria just had a bad break up after six years together so her friends take her away to Vegas for a night out because as they said, what’s better than getting over a man than to get under one🤭 They take Bria to a male dance club and she catches the attention of a dancer named Dallas. Dallas is part of a secret society and the rules say he has to have a wife to be in a leadership position. What happens in Vegas?

Dallas & Bria were sizzling hot together and not just in bed! You can feel the sexual tension and chemistry brewing between them with their back and forth banter which had me giggling! Bria struggles with trusting him as she was burned in her past relationship but this man falls first and hard. He may be morally grey, like using trackers to find her and trying to make her his wife, but he is still so thoughtful and sweet! I mean he wants a fresh start with so he gets rid of his old food to literally start everything fresh… swoon!!!! Plus this man loves calling her his wife, while she also calls him Ponyboy sometimes too😆

This is book two of the Men Under Revue series but it can easily be read as a standalone!! Jacklyn does so well explaining the whole secret society and you learn how Dallas got into. I listened to this book before reading book one and was not lost at all! And now I definitely recommend book one too as I also enjoyed it! It’s narrated by James Cassidy in an Australian accent and Marie Hawkins.

AUDIO REVIEW:
Easily devoured this audio in just one night!! Caden Hart & Amanda L’Obrien were new to me narrators but their voices made this audiobook so engaging as the story and their delivery grabs you right into this dark dancer romance! It’s a duet narration that is explosive, sexy and just such a fun, quick listen!

Caden’s bright but edgy tone perfectly captured Dallas’s charm, sweetness and magnetic personality! He also brings out the gruff edge to his voice so well to show off Dallas’s dirty mouth and his “morally grey fucked up knight” side too!

Amanda L’Orien completely embodied Bria’s sassy personality as she has so much expression in her voice while also using a softness to her tone at times to showcase Bria’s venerability from her past relationship. I just loved the power in Amanda’s voice when she would be bantering as Bria with Dallas during the dialogue but then would switch back to her soft tone to perform the narrative! Amazing!

Overall, this audio is so worth the listen as their voices worked so well together in the duet narration and their delivery completely brought Dallas & Bria to life!

This is book two of the Men Under Revue series. Nevertheless, it can be read as a standalone if you want. I will recommend that you read the first book simply because it is just as hot and spicy and so well written!

Meet Dallas Ryan, our charming dancer MMC. He's born into secret society, raised by his father, who has made a name in the Red Magic Revue as a Legacy Dancer. Dallas is next in line to for power, but under one condition: marry within one year. Crazy, right? How can he find someone to marry within twelve months? His character is so deliciously charming, twisted and unhinged, and so very unapologetic. He does what he wants. This man who knows what he wants and isn't afraid to go after it - he gives no f*cks! He's very hard working as a performer for the MUR (Men Under Revue), making his own name by refusing to work under his father's shadow. And he's hawt as hell.

Next enters our sweet, freshly heartbroken, but equally unhinged as he is, FMC. She's a talented cheerleader for the University in Phoenix, working hard with her team in the nationals to reach first place. After her breakup with her long-term boyfriend, her best friends whisk her away to have some fun in Las Vegas, and of course, all hell breaks lose. The girl agrees to sign a marriage of convenience with the one and only Dallas. Their love quickly blossoms, crazy and intense, chaotically unhinged and crackling with tension.

~"𝑫𝒊𝒄𝒌𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒂'𝒔 𝑺𝒆𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒕 𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒅. 𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝒔𝒘𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒑𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒔 𝒃𝒂𝒄𝒌, 𝒑𝒐𝒏𝒚𝒃𝒐𝒚." 𝑾𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒇𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆, 𝑰 𝒇𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒑𝒆𝒅 𝒎𝒚 𝒉𝒂𝒊𝒓 𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒎𝒚 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒑𝒖𝒔𝒉𝒆𝒅 𝒃𝒂𝒄𝒌 𝒐𝒏 𝒉𝒊𝒎 𝒂𝒔 𝒊𝒇 𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒆𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝒏𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈.

𝑰 𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒉𝒊𝒎 𝒕𝒐 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒔𝒆 𝒎𝒆.

𝑫𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒔 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒈𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆 𝒂 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒃𝒍𝒆𝒎.~

Bria's not a doormat. She holds her own and is a strong woman. She has brilliant growth as a character, and by the end, she knows who and what she exactly is - fights for her identity all throughout the book until the end! And a person to not give up on themselves like that is quite admirable. They both compliment each other so well. He's is obsessive over her from the moment he lays eyes on her and will do anything to get her, under any circumstances! I love how devoted to her he is, how he worships her.

"𝑳𝒕 𝒊𝒕 𝒐𝒖𝒕, 𝒔𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒕 𝒈𝒊𝒓𝒍. 𝑰 𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒈𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝑰 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒇𝒆𝒆𝒍."

Usually, the marriage of convenience isn't really my thing, but with Dallas in the picture? A quickly became a hell yes! Who wouldn't want to marry a man like that? TELL ME! The close proximity vibes is a crackling energy I thoroughly enjoyed to the max - their chemistry is mouthwatering, let me tell you that. The story flowed pretty well, didn't drag at all, and fast-paced for me - just the way I like it. Then there's the secret society aspect - God, I love this trope. And the plot twists caught me off guard, like hello??? WHAT. Love it, though! And wait, the spice. THE SPICE WAS SPICING SO HARD. Their dance scenes are so beautiful, hot with tension.

If you like a dark romance with dancers and marriage of convenience, secret society and dark pasts, a MMC ho falls hard first in lust and love, an FMC who is a strong badass who isn't a damsel in distress, a deep plot-line with banter, hawt dance scenes, twists and turns, chemistry you can cut with a knife and swoon worthy romance, and so much more, then this one is for you. This will be a wild ride, so buckle your seat belt!

Bria needs help getting out of her funk since her jerk ex, so her friends take her out for a night of fun. She doesn't expect the fun she ends up having will involve a male dancer who becomes so much more than the hot guy from that night. Their connection is intense, deep, and dark. She has a secret but so does he...

Dallas and Bria are absolutely perfect for each other - both unhinged in the darkest of ways, and 1000% in love. The way he was all in from the time he laid eyes on her - whew! The secret society is definitely ott and fun, the spice is Kindle melting hot, and the twist near the end is the best part! Can't wait to read the next MUR dancer to find his one now.

The Stallion is the second book in the dark dancer Men Under Revue series. The FMC is a sassy cheerleader with a dark side and the MMC is a Vegas male dancer who is in a secret society and the rules says he must have a wife. Steamy scenes, witty banter, he falls first, unpredictable suspense is just a few things that makes this book unforgettable. Step aside Magic Mike and let the MUR take over!

TW: Explicit and Graphic Violence, Explicit Language, Explicit Sexual Content, Blood, Gore & Murder, GPS Tracking, Cheating (not MCs), Death on Page, Violent Stabbing, Emotional Abuse, Physical Abuse (mentioned), Gaslighting, Strangulation, Sexual Harassment, Feeling of Forced Marriage, Caffeine Addiction.

I would sincerely like to Thank Candi Kane PR and Jacklyn Parker for my ARC and in return I voluntarily promised an honest review.

Dallas Ryan followed in his fathers foot steps and became a dancer in Las Vegas. He passed his initiation into the secret society and got the ring now the rule states in order for him to retain his position of leadership he must be married in a year's time. Dallas is looking for a connection like his parents have and when he's almost out of time his eyes connect with a knockout who he hopes has a feisty personality.

Bria Robins is a cheerleading captain for a University in Phoenix and she's trying to take her team to first place in the Nationals. After a breakup with her long-term boyfriend her bffs take her to Vegas to attend a MUR show to cheer her up.

After the show Dallas is in his office when in stumbles Bria, they get real acquainted on his desk and he decides she will be his wife, then slips a GPS tracker in her jacket.

Bria likes being under him and thinks the marriage will be a short term fling, Dallas thinks she's sweet and innocent and both are trying hard not to develop feelings.

Dallas needs her to complete her own initiation and she has secrets of her own. What happens when those secrets collide with his world?

Both the author and narrators were brand new to me and I can honestly say they’ve left an impression I won’t soon forget. Performed in duet narration by Amanda L’Orien and Caden Hart, the delivery was flawless, blending perfectly with the sizzling, unpredictable energy of the story itself. Their voices captured the raw charisma of Dallas Ryan and the sass and vulnerability of Bria Robins in a way that pulled me right in. For a first experience with both this author and narrators, I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction. This audiobook was bold, sexy, and full of life setting the tone for a ride that was every bit as wild as Vegas itself.

The Story
Bria Robins is freshly dumped, bitter, and vulnerable when her friends drag her off for a girls’ weekend in Vegas. What she doesn’t expect is Dallas Ryan a magnetic male dancer with a filthy mouth, irresistible charm, and a dangerous tie to a secret society that requires him to marry. Bria may look like an innocent cheerleader, but she’s got a dark side of her own, and together they collide in a whirlwind of lust, banter, and unpredictably high-stakes suspense.

What I Loved
✔️ Dallas Ryan’s charisma and unapologetically filthy mouth
✔️ Bria as a relatable, layered FMC sassy yet vulnerable
✔️ Steamy scenes that were both hot and wild
✔️ Sharp, witty banter that had me laughing as much as blushing
✔️ The “he falls first” energy that made Dallas irresistible
✔️ A plot full of twists, chemistry, and Vegas-style unpredictability

Tropes
Secret Society Rules
He Falls First
Freshly Dumped Heroine
Vegas Romance
Banter & Sass
Steamy, Over-the-Top Chemistry

Final Thoughts
The Stallion is hot, unapologetically wild, and packed with enough chemistry to set Vegas on fire. With a sassy heroine, a dangerously charismatic hero, and narration that elevated every moment, this book was unforgettable. If you’re craving a steamy, suspense-filled romance with a twist of secret society intrigue, saddle up Dallas and Bria won’t disappoint.

Audiobook

Performed in duet by Caden Hart and Amanda L’Orien

Produced by Blue Nose Audio

I am a huge fan of Jacklyn’s writing and I absolutely loved the first audiobook in this series, ‘The Bloke’ and is this the second one from the Men Under Revue series and it was no different.

This time it’s the turn of Dallas Ryan and Bria Robins to tell their story.

Dallas is a legacy and has been raised to follow in his father’s footsteps and after success initiation process claims his place as a member of the Men Under Revue, a secret organisation that works in the darkness keeping the equilibrium of Las Vegas in check.

Dallas knows exactly who and what he is and is comfortable in his own skin, he knows where he is going in life and makes no excuses about it, but he has one major problem he needs a wife to keep his new position at Red Magic and needs to find one within a year, enter Bria captain of the cheer team, who finds herself questioning her life after being dumped by her long term boyfriend she gets dragged on a girl’s weekend to Vegas where she meets Dallas at the club where he dances and the sexual chemistry and pull is instant, but we all know the saying “what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas,” only this time her happen follows her back home and informs her that she is his wifey.

The characters in this books are two strong well matched individuals who both fall for each other quickly but having being hurt Bria struggles to let Dallas in but events take an unexpected twist that I didn’t see coming and in that moment things get a whole new clarity.

Carden Hart narration for Dallas is fantastic giving the right amount swagger and confidence that he comes across exactly how Jacklyn has written him and you can’t but help fall for him hook, line and sinker.

Amanda L’Orien is a new narrator for me but I loved the energy and vulnerability she brought to Bria.

An amazing book and audio series that I cannot recommend enough.

🐎 Honest ARC Review: The Stallion 🐎
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5 stars)

Genre: Steamy Contemporary Romance
Tropes: Rebound Romance, Vegas Fling, Best Friend’s Brother (possibly?), Cowboy Fantasy, Secret Past, Emotional Healing
Spice Level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ (Saddle up, baby—this ride gets bumpy)

Imagine emotionally spiraling post-breakup, and your girls drag you to Vegas—because obviously, Sin City is the prescription for heartbreak. What you don’t expect? Running into a walking daydream named Dallas Ryan, who just so happens to give off “he’ll ruin your sheets and your standards” energy. It gives us tension, temptation, and that perfect “I’m trying to be good but you make me so bad” dynamic.

• Dallas Ryan: The Stallion isn’t just a nickname—this man is pure cowboy charisma with a filthy mouth and a heart wrapped in barbed wire.
• Relatable heroine: Freshly dumped, bitter, vulnerable but still ready to rise like a phoenix… into someone’s hotel bed.
• Vegas setting: The perfect backdrop for a no-strings-attached adventure that might turn into oh no, I think I’m catching feelings.
• The quote game is strong: “The only way you’ll get over a man is to get under another” deserves to be printed on a wine glass, a T-shirt, and possibly stitched onto grandma’s throw pillow.

The Stallion doesn’t promise emotional therapy—it promises an escape hatch. It’s the book equivalent of your bestie shoving tequila into your hand and saying, “Girl, you’re going to live a little tonight.” It’s hot, unapologetically wild, and loaded with enough chemistry to fog up your Kindle screen. Expect spicy banter, emotional rebounds that turn into real connections, and possibly some unexpected sweetness beneath that saddle.

Heart shattered, mascara running, and your girls say “Pack a bag—we’re going on a trip.” Because nothing says emotional CPR like Sin City. That’s where Daddy Dallas kicks off, and from the first page, it’s clear: Dallas Ryan is here and ready to play. Legacy, lust, and lethal charm—he hijacks your attention and never lets go.

Born into a secret society and raised by a father who carved his name into the Red Magic Revue as a legacy dancer, Dallas is next in line for power. But there’s one condition: he must marry within a year. Right from the beginning, he’s deliciously unhinged—no hesitation, no apologies, just pure obsession. He sees Bria and pulls the trigger on fate.
Enter Bria: a baddie FMC who’s sharp, unbothered, and ferally unhinged in the best way. She doesn’t just match Dallas—she flips the script and makes their marriage of convenience her own playground. Their chemistry is nuclear, their banter unhinged, and their love? Obsessive, chaotic, and all-consuming.

Jacklyn Parker nails the vibe again in The Stallion, book two of the MUR series. Between secret societies, male dancers who own the stage, and a twist that keeps you hooked, this book is impossible to put down. The smut is top-tier, the insta-lust is flaming hot, and the character growth all makes you want to stay up all night flipping pages. Bria’s bond with Asher adds heart (we stan a supportive bestie), and Dallas’ unwavering devotion to his “sweet girl” and “wifey” makes him unforgettable and devastatingly delicious.

The attention to detail—especially in the dancing—is chef’s kiss. This book is a wild ride, and I was absolutely here for every second. Pick it up, you won’t spend a second regretting it!

🎧eBook & ALC Review🎧

“Ravish, Reign, Revue.”

I couldn’t wait to dive back in to the second book in the Men Under Revue series by Jacklyn Parker. What secrets will we find out this time? I gotta know!

Dallas Ryan, a performer at Red Magic and recently crowned new Leader at the club, has an opportunity to realise his dream. For this to be his reality and maintain his title, Dallas needs to find a wife within a year. Let the fun begin.

An unsuspecting Bria, a flyer with the Savage Sirens, an all star cheer team, is tricked into taking a girls trip to Las Vegas. Recently broken up with her long term partner, maybe this trip to Vegas with her girls is just what she needs.

What I did like, both Bria and Dallas were determined to not let their aloneness win. I felt they embraced their in common traits and ran with it. Oh, I’m not sure I’d call it a twist, there was an unexpected moment in the book which I really liked.

Amanda L’Orien brought the intense, strong and vicious energy of Bria. Caden Hart played the role of Dallas and the supporting male characters with the s3xy arrogance you’d expect from the guys of the MUR.

The pairing of Amanda L’Orien and Caden Hart with Jacklyn’s words kept me engaged throughout the entire story. I enjoyed their character voices and felt they suited the story well. I particularly adored the cheeky banter between these two. They knew how to push each other’s buttons too.

Thank you Jacklyn Parker for another enjoyable story. I am hooked and patiently await more in the Men Under Revue series. Thank you to Blue Nose for this highly entertaining Advanced Listener Copy.

From the moment you open its pages, this captivating narrative envelops you in its story, making it nearly impossible to put down. With intricately developed, morally complex characters wrestling with their inner conflicts and intriguing secret societies, this book raises the bar for its genre. Parker skillfully crafts a fast-paced, steamy adventure depicting love as a fierce journey—beautifully messy and imperfect, yet undeniably rewarding. Prepare yourself for exhilarating moments that will leave your heart racing and you breathless! The sharp, witty dialogue brims with chemistry, effortlessly blending humor and passion that will have you laughing while longing for the next chapter. *The Stallion* is not just a book; it’s a memorable experience that will resonate in your heart and mind long after the last page is turned. Be sure not to miss this incredible opportunity to immerse yourself in this remarkable tale of love and determination!

The audiobook experience is equally impressive, thanks to the talented pairing of Caden Hart and Amanda Stribling. Hart’s voice exudes charm and magnetism, perfectly embodying the male lead's obsessive and possessive traits, making it utterly captivating. Meanwhile, Stribling’s lively delivery brings the heroine’s snarky one-liners and emotional depth to life, allowing listeners to fully immerse themselves in every punch, kiss, and unexpected twist. Together, they don't merely narrate; they perform, infusing Jacklyn Parker’s remarkable world with an extraordinary vibrancy that is sure to leave a lasting impression!

This book is fire. This is a must read. Jacklyn has done it again. This is the second book of the MUR. Jacklyn makes you want to have Daddy Dallas as a husband. Lets not forgot about the piercings. They had chemistry from the start. Jacklyn did not disappoint with this book. This is one wild ride you will be happy to read. After all its Vegas baby. You never know what is going to happen.
Spice Level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

Daddy Dallas is a male dancer who followed is his dads footsteps. He owns the stage the minute he steps on it. He made a name for himself. He his eyes that will make any ones panties wet.

Daddy Dallas has to prove himself to join the secret society. But there was one rule he had to get married. He meets Bria at the show. He makes her his. He does not give her an option. She is his wifey.

Bria is a cheerleader with a past. She had a bad breakup. Her best friend took her to Vegas and she met Ponyboy. That moment on changed her life for the better.

Bria likes to be under him and fooling herself into thinking this was short term. But since the moment they met. The have been fire and all hands all over each other. Wifey and ponyboy are falling hard and fast in love.

Bria has a secret that I did not see coming. She is not so innocent as she seems. She also finds out her best friends is not so innocent also.

I can sell this book to you in 5 words: Magic Mike meets Secret Society. Slow burn romance? Don't know her. This is not insta love but certainly insta lust.

Bria's ex of six years sucks and to cheer her up after the breakup, her best friends ushers her to Las Vegas. It isn't really what Bria would normally do, but what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, right? Also, what good is a weekend of debauchery without going to see a bunch of gorgeous men dance for you? This is how she ends up at Red Magic Revue and catches the attention of the new owner, Dallas Ryan. One scorching, drunken night together becomes so much more when both parties are hiding some big secrets.

From the very start of this book I was hooked. Bria, even heartbroken, is a strong, capable lead. Dallas is hot and his morals are definitely my favorite shade of gray. Their chemistry is ghost pepper hot and they have great banter.

While this is not the first book in the series, I had no trouble jumping right in without getting lost. Now, if you need me, I'll be diving into this author's back list.

The dragon recommends to dark romance and spice lovers.

✨ This book gave me all the Magic Mike vibes—but with a deliciously darker twist. I absolutely devoured every page!

🔥 Dallas and Bria’s connection was pure addiction. The plot kept me guessing, and even when I thought I had it figured out, the reveal still had me grinning right alongside Bria. She’s a fierce, stabby FMC with so much strength, and I adored her fire.

😈 And then there’s Dallas… goodness. With his piercings and that wicked edge, he took Bria on plenty of unforgettable rides—and I loved every single moment of it. Their chemistry was unhinged in the best possible way, making them perfect for each other.

Dallas Ryan is following in his father’s footsteps and he is also a dancer in Vegas. He has passed his initiation and has his ring, next step, he needs a wife, but he wants the same love and connection as his parents.

Bria is the captain of her cheer team for the University of Arizona and wants to take them to nationals. But after a breakup, her besties take her to a girls trip to Vegas to get her out of her funk.

Bria stumbles into his office and it leads into a very sexy and steamy moment. Next thing she knows she is married and agreeing to stayed married to him. Dallas is unapologetically unhinged and obsessed. But what he doesn’t know, she is just as unhinged and they are a match made in heaven. Their connection is hot and they can’t keep their hands off one another. There are secrets that both of them are keeping from one another too. Their passion is chaotic and electric, their love is a magnet, and the bond is all consuming.

Amanda and Caden nailed this audio!!! They captured the chemistry and banter of the characters perfectly. Amanda did an amazing job giving Bria her sass. And Caden, whew, he NAILED the voice I imagined Dallas having. He was charming and swooning at all the right times as needed.

The Stallion is the second book in the series but can be read as a stand alone. This was my first book from this author but won't be the last. It was very well written.

Dallas is a dancer who was born into the dance world. His father used to dance also. His family is in a secret society and he is next in line for the power. There is a condition that he has to marry within one year. Dally does what he wants and lives live his way. He works hard as a dancer and doesn't want to work be recognized for his father. He carves out his own way.

Bria is coming out of a heartbreak. She had been with her man for a long time. Her friends take her on a trip to Las Vegas to get over her break up. They also want her to find someone new. Her friends take her to a dance club. Dallas is dancing and is drawn to her. Bria is attracted to him but she is still broken hearted. Dallas decides she will be his wife and starts tracking her. He is obsessed.

I loved the chemistry between Bria and Dallas. They were intense. Highly recommended.

Reasons you will love this story:
* He falls first
* Dancer
* Marriage of convenience
* Secret society

Thank you to the author for an advanced copy for an honest review.

A new to me author but if The Stallion is any indication, then this won’t be the last book I read from Jacklyn Parker. At first, I’ll admit I wasn’t sure. I thought the heroine Bria was going to be mooning about over her worthless ex but fortunately with a bestie like Asher she wasn’t about to let that happen, so she drags her to Vegas and The Men Under Revue - nothing like strippers to make a girl forget her woes. Dallas Ryan was a golden retriever kind of hero masquerading as a Doberman hero. He was following in his father’s footsteps in more ways than one. Not only as a dancer but more importantly as part of a secret organisation that maintained standards in Sin City but one condition he didn’t yet meet was that he had to be married. One look at Bria and he fell hook, line and sinker for her and we’re talking OBSESSION level and since he was already looking for a suitable bride, decided she was perfect for him and that is where this book came alive. I loved the characters of Dallas and Bria as individuals but together they were a forcefield and they’d either crash and burn, killing each other in the process or burn bright. Their dynamics, sizzling chemistry and wicked dialogue really made this story for me leaving me eager to read more from this author.
